I am so grateful to the prescribing Optician Jack who saw me immediately in an emergency and provided correct advice to go straight to hospital. He was the epitome of kindness and even followed up the next day with a call to see how I was. Thank you 🙏

Kept getting a missed call from 01924911741 and despite them calling me a ridiculous amount of times they never left a message. I called them back today to find out who was calling me and apparently it is Boots Opticians. I asked them to stop calling me and if I needed an appointment I’d book one myself and she refused unless I answered security questions! They are the ones harassing me and now won’t stop despite being asked to! Number is now blocked and reported.

During a visit to Boots for an emergency appointment I requested a glass of water. I was told they couldn’t give me a glass of water as it was not safe. They suggested I buy a bottle. I didn’t, I approached 3 staff who were chatting and asked again why I couldn’t have water I got the same reply. My impression is that they couldn’t have a drink of water either. Boots management need to get their act together.

I always use Boots Opticians and have always found the staff exceptionally helpful and friendly. Their knowledge makes me feel reassured. My last visit was earlier this week and again I was served by Adriano (Bournemouth, Commercial Rd, branch). I remember him clearly from my previous visit a year ago. He is a breath of fresh air, absolutely charming, puts so much effort into ensuring that his customers understand all the procedures. Whilst waiting to see the optician I couldn't help but hear him advising a couple of elderly customers with their ongoing queries about glasses. He was so patient with them and they certainly left alot happier than when they came in. Adriano is a credit to Boots and hopefully he will still be there when I have my next appointment in 2027.

I was in need of a repair for my glasses, the frames were replaced and the lenses fitted there and then, Hannah who dealt with the problem was so kind and efficient, all in all a very good experience.

The actual eye test was really good, young man called Harvey. Very knowledgeable, polite and certainly knew his stuff 10/10. My problem is that the glasses I’m wearing now have gone cloudy and with little holes in the vision. Went in store to sort this problem and assistant told me that the protective on the lenses was breaking down and crystallising. Asked if there was any guarantee for this and was told NO. I was told to have an eye test and purchase another pair. Not happy. But the optician was very good.

Such helpful, professional and friendly staff. I was worried about a problem in my eye and they were so understanding and supportive. The optician spent time testing my eyes and discovered the problem, which fortunately wasn't anything serious.

The young man who greeted me when I arrived, dealt with the eye pressure tests etc. and measured me for the glasses at the end was relaxed, polite and friendly which put me at ease.
The optician was polite and I felt he was very thorough in all tests and with all his questions. It made me feel confident in his abilities.

Last Friday 3rd July, I visited my Boots optician with an obvious eye infection and in quite a lot of pain. I was told that the optician was with their last appointment of the day and I could have an appointment on the Monday afternoon. Leaving me in severe discomfort over the weekend. That optician could have easily seen me. This left me in pain all weekend. This is very poor customer service.

In the past I have a reasonable dealings with Boots opticions in Inverness. However, recently, I was contacted by Boots Opticions by telephone, as they say that I was due an eye test. I explained that it was only 12 months since my last test, and I would leave it thank you. The male representative became very pushy and asked why. I told him again that I would leave it thank you. He then said in an aggressive manner. Can you tell me why?. I felt very bullied by the male caller. I will not be using Boots Opticions again.

Very good service. Rachel was very thorough and explained everything she was doing on the pre screen before I went to see the optometrist Tania.
Tania was also very good and explained everything she was doing and what I needed. Then Rachel helped me choose 3 pairs of glasses and didn’t rush me to choose as they all needed changing after my cateract operations on both eyes. Thanks to both of you.

As soon as I walked into the store the staff were very pleasant and I felt relaxed. The pre eye test checks were carried out by a junior member of staff. The optometrist who conducted the eye test is very professional and his explanatory was good. After the test I was greeted by Krysz on the shop floor and I can't express enough his professionalism and his respect towards his clients. He is a person who I will always request for future visits.

I was served today by a very helpful and understanding member of staff at the branch of Ilford Boots opticians. Her name is Ansa. She was helping this branch out today as they were short staffed and her branch is elsewhere.

Ansa was very professional in what she was doing. She was also sympathetic towards me regarding the reason why I had to attend this branch. She gave me helpful information that I have never been told before by any other staff member of Boots opticians. She made my issues dissappear by solving them.

Well done Ansa, carry on representing Boots in the way you do. Carry on with providing good service to your customers. Keep up the good work.

My last eye test I had at another store and the experience from start to finish was sad to the say the least as I just felt like I was in their way and as soon as I mentioned I just wanted my prescription, was made to feel like I had wasted their time. My experience at Boots Redhill was completely and totally different. From when I stepped in to the store, they were attentive, explained everything as to why or how it works and was left to decide what I wished to do once my eye test was completed. I would totally recommend them
