The past two orders have taken over 20 days to be delivered. Website claims 10-15days delivery but this is not correct.
Book was in good condition but if you're wanting anything within a month id order somewhere else.

It is easy to buy on there site and then delivery and updates plus packaging is all done very well.
Prices are standard to what it is elsewhere.

Buy your books elsewhere...
I placed an online order for 3 books on the 14 November 2025 and paid $86.95 on that day. I finally received the order in the mail on the 25 November only to discover only one book was sent. I rang and enquired about the other books and was told that they had just received one from their supplier and they would send that out to me. The other would take about another week and a half to get to them I was advised, and then the same amount of time again to get to me. All three books were written in Australia by Australians. And all were paid for weeks in advance of me actually receiving them. They were all supposed to be gifted to someone this week, but now I have to wait until I receive the second book and the third i've cancelled and asked for a refund as that was going to take another 3 weeks to get to me. I was not advised at all of these massive time issues. I will never ever use this company again to purchase any books. Severely shocking customer service.

Booktopia actually had stock
Booktopia was the only supplier who had a book I was. Basing for my sister’s birthday - all the well known physical and online book retailers had no stock. The price was very competitive too. I had to factor in the 2 weeks for delivery but was happy to do so.

The shopping experience itself was…
The shopping experience itself was fine, but they sold me 11 copies of a book that they only had three copies in stock for. It wasn't until the three copies shipped that I found out I wasn't getting the other eight, and that I wouldn't be getting them till early December.
To their credit, they did refund the value of the 8 books, but don't say you have the items in stock in the quantity I want and not be able to fulfil the order.

I ordered a travellers map of Ireland and it was very fast delivery and a fantastic product!
It has helped up plan our stops to throughout Ireland, it's waterproof and has little stickers to help along the way!

Worst Company EVER!
I have bought a studying book. I have missed my university exams because of how long it takes for it to come. It was also very expensive + shipping! I have paid $105. It took 7 weeks to come!

I placed my order & did not hear for ten days. When i questioned the time & said i may cancel, Jay went ahead & cancelled the order just to show how clever they were. Poor delivery, crappy attitude, no wonder everyone is avoiding these clowns.
Just buy off ebay, it is much easier.

nothing is in stock you have to wait weeks to get items. mine still not even arrived at warehouse . Spoke to Patricia on live chat . was bit of smart ass basically saying its not there fault and I should read the expected time. She should be fired. Well no its not normal to wait for a a shipping for over a month for somewhere within Australia. Will never be using Booktopia again it gone down hill

We would like to advise that not all titles are stocked in our Sydney warehouse. We do get a lot of books from local or international suppliers and shipping timeframes can vary from 5-10 business days, 10-15 business days, 15-25 business days or 30 business days. Instock items ships in 1-2 business days.

They take your money and never send the product. Fraudulent
Terrible, terrible service. One book never arrived and money was never returned and it’s happened again. Customer support is woeful. Stay away from this company, it’s robbery.
