WASTE OF MONEY - AWFUL EXPERIENCE WITH BLUECREST
Having paid several hundred pounds for blood tests and a further £100 on the day for a couple of extra tests, I had the short telephone consultation with their GP who was very abrupt and dismissive of my questions on the 'red flag' items that the tests had shown up. When I asked for more info, she suggested that I make an appointment with my own GP for the tests to be repeated! Seems pretty pointless then to have paid all that money when they advise me to get them done again on the NHS!!!! I just don’t trust the integrity of the results and don’t believe they are accurate. I raised a complaint with them which took around 6 weeks to get the full response back where they offered a measly £40 against the over £300 I paid for tests that I don't trust the results of. What the hell was the point in me paying all that money if they advise to get them re-done at the GP. Do not waste your money. I feel I was totally ripped off.

The results Bluecrest produced were…
The results Bluecrest produced were misleading.
I received a red flag for heart disease.
2 amber for blood pressure. My reading are within a range normal for my age. I regularly take my pressure 130 over 85.
2 amber for tablets I was diagnosed with 20 years ago for blood pressure and statins.
My fasting cholesterol is low.
Again my blood pressure is normal.
No consideration was taken into account of the fact I train 5 days a week. Swimming weight training and various running machines rowing and step.
I participate in the McMillan 25 mile hike every year.
Despite this information they concluded a red flag is correct.
This inability to see common sense may affect my travel insurance premium.
I have taken my evidence to the financial ombudsman for an independent review with the objective to get a refund of the fee I paid.

Don’t trust this lot; my partner went for a so called comprehensive medical and the clinician turned into a salesman and extracted several hundred pounds more .
He was more interested in his golf sessions than her medical!
Several days after this shambles, she was blue lighted to hospital.
What a joke,full of excuses.

I had an excellent experience at Bluecrest during my recent health check. Hannah and Heidi were both outstanding from start to finish. They were friendly, professional, and made me feel completely at ease throughout the appointment.

First time visiting Bluecrest Wellness for a Health Assessment. I met Ruth who was excellent. Went through everything as it was a first time visit. Made me feel comfortable and treated me as a patient. Explained the whole process step by step. When it came to taking the blood sample it was my first at 45. Ruth did such a great job in getting me to relax and talking to me while it was being done it was over without much pain. Fantastic. I paid for an extra test as it was the first time to get more of a picture into my blood health.
