Excellent Bear!
The staff were very helpful and the food was excellent. It was also the first time that I had tea made from tea leaves; delicious! There was also no “rush” to finish our lunch quickly!! Would certainly have no hesitation in recommending this ‘Bear’ for a lunchtime location.

No Tater Tots
Didn’t have what we ordered. Had to be given a refund. Wrong food was brought to the table. Waited quite a while for the hot drinks. Food was lovely though.
Everywhere was very clean and the servers were friendly.

Disappointed, bland and stale coffee...
First time trial of these pods and very disappointed, pods don't sit properly in my machine and all types of coffee have a very muted and almost musty taste to them like the coffee inside is rather old and stale. Many other compostable pods out there and won't be ordering these again.

We serve stacks of coffees across all of our stores every day - our coffee is of incredibly high quality and is expertly roasted. Maybe our coffee just wasn't quite the flavour profile you were looking for!

They are nice like the fact compostable but tend to stick in machine as very soft.

Thanks for the review! It's great to hear that you're enjoying our pods, however I'm sorry to hear that you've found them to stick every now and again.
We test our pods on a number of different branded coffee pod machines, but it's difficult to cater to all of them perfectly. If you don't mind popping a quick email to orders@bemorebear.co with your coffee machine make & model, this would be incredibly helpful for us in terms of developing our product! Apologies again that you found our pods to stick slightly occasionally - I hope that this doesn't put you off continuing to use them every now and again!

We've been to Bear in a few locations
We've been to Bear in a few locations. I absolutely love their coffee! On different occasions different experiences, but the staff are always very friendly. Better to me, in Derbion! Clean environment, food cooked well and staff super.

Kitchen staff and customer service
I’m a regular at bear for coffee but this visit was disappointing where I came with my young children for brunch. I asked if we could have children’s pancakes but with the fruit and syrup separate and not on top (as I know my 4 year old would not eat it). It arrived with it all on top and so I asked them again if they wouldn’t mind redoing or moving what they could as I explained that’s what had been requested . I watched the waitress relay this to the kitchen staff who was so angry and annoyed by this and looking over at our table shaking his head in disgust . It made us feel really uncomfortable and as though we were a massive inconvenience. The waitress was a young girl and was just doing her job so we didn’t complain as it was not her fault - but it’s really put us off eating here again along with value for money (it was just short of £60 for a family of four to have a basic breakfast and two of those were kids meals).

I'm so sorry again. It's really heartbreaking for us to hear that after so many great visits, this isolated incident (frustratingly preventable on our part!) has caused your view on our store to change.

Always a 5 star experience at Bear!! Great coffee, amazing food, lovely team - just everything is brilliant. Only downside is I don't have a Bear in my home town!! Already planning my next visit :)
