Booked in for tattoo removal and paid £25 deposit. Within the space of a week my appointment had been moved twice. I then received a call to move my appointment a third time to which I responded I’d rather have my deposit back to which the extremely rude woman on the ride said she had no record of me paying a deposit! I eventually managed to get my deposit refunded but I would not recommend this company. I felt like I was an inconvenience despite them changing my appointment times around!

I only started at Beautology in April this year after talking my daughter about how my skin was looking she told me to go to Beautology and there I met Zhane she has been such a great help and talked me through everything I need to do to take care of my skin. I would recommend them to anyone.

I have been seeing Ritu at the Emersons Green clinic for a few months now she is so friendly and professional. She has altered my treatment for better results on scarring and I am really seeing results. I knew and understood this would be a lengthy procedure but I appreciate the honesty and I wasn’t sold or told anything so it was clear on my journey from the offset.

Cancellation procedure is unclear, the app and website are terrible. There is no facility on the app or website to cancel the package.

It took 20 days to receive a reply from reception to confirm the process. The app and website have unrelated material to gym workouts and is not fit for purpose.

I’ve been a MyTime member for over 12 months now, being treated for acne and anti aging and I could not be happier with the treatments and advice I’ve received. The texture of my skin has improved and I am now able to wear less makeup. Would recommend.

Given the amount of money I’ve spent at Beautology, I’m disappointed by the level of customer service and the overall value I received. At no point did I feel like a truly cared-for client.

From the outset, the consultation felt rushed and more like a sales pitch than a tailored skincare plan. I was talked through a proposed treatment plan, but never received a written breakdown—despite requesting one—so I had no clear understanding of what was included or whether I actually received everything I paid for.

Each time I attended, the treatment seemed to be decided on the spot rather than being part of a consistent, well-considered approach. I saw a different aesthetician almost every visit, which meant I had to repeat my concerns each time. It didn’t appear that notes were being properly taken or shared, which left me feeling like just another name on a list rather than a valued customer with individual needs.

As part of my package, I was entitled to a discount on skincare products, but the items I wanted were never in stock, making this benefit essentially unusable.

I eventually decided to pause my membership due to these ongoing issues. I submitted the request before the next billing date, but because the process involved completing an online form (and delays in processing on my part), I was charged for an additional month. On top of that, I was expected to purchase extra products to support the after-care of my "free" treatment upgrade—which just felt like another upsell.

Ultimately, I cancelled my membership. I no longer felt confident that the service matched the cost, and I didn’t feel supported in the way I would expect from a clinic promising personalised care.

I’ve not long joined Beautology, but I am so happy I did the staff are very friendly very helpful. They only give you what you need and not try to force other things onto you. I find the staff very helpful and very friendly and when I come out I feel $1 million.

Jelena is in a unique class of her own. Welcoming, efficient and professional with fantastic interpersonal skills her treatments, in the short time one is present, go above and beyond any I have experienced elsewhere. First class!

Very thorough and informative. Talked through the process to manage any anxiety. Highly recommend.

I’m loving my skin journey atm, it’s made me love my skin again. My Aesthetician Zhane has been amazing along the way being really informative about the treatments and always making me feel so comfortable and relaxed during our sessions.

My skin looks great! I am in excellent hands with Heleena and Paulina. Well worth it.

Holly was really lovely, she explained everything really clearly when I asked and was very kind. A super relaxing experience I couldn’t recommend her more!

Terrible for appointment

Visited Beautology Emerson’s Green, my appointment was with Ritu. As always it was an enjoyable experience, with a lovely, friendly, professional lady. Ritu takes time to explain my treatment thoroughly, my hour with her is relaxing and enjoyable. Always leave with my skin feeling refreshed and looking better. Thank you Ritu!

I have been very surprised with the services I have received from beautology after reading so many good reviews. My clinician was very good and I don't have any issues with how my treatments went (apart from that it was not hugely successful for me overall). But it was the constant confusion and poor communication that has really let things down. I took out a mytime membership for laser hair removal. There was one month where they had a change of systems and unfortunately my session was not put on the new system (apparently an issue a few people had too) but I wasn't too concerned by this as I was assured that the session would roll-over. I thought nothing of it and just continued with my monthly sessions. I was recently told that unfortunately this session was in fact 'lost' because I hadn't used it? Well, this makes little sense to me because with I was told that I could only have laser hair removal once per month (every 4 weeks) so I'm not sure how I was supposed to guess that I should book 2? This is frustrating, along with being told I could cancel 'next time I come in to the clinic'. I did this and they told me I couldn't and that there was a 30 day cancellation. I said I was aware of this but was told I should cancel in-person upon my next visit. This has been ignored and I have been told I would need to pay for another month. The communication has been very poor and confusing. I believed I was very understanding of their communication and system problems and have tried to be patient but I have waited up to a week for a response at points. It's a real shame but I would not return to beautology and would not recommend the mytime membership due to its very confusing terms.

I have been seeing Jelena so electrolysis for three years. She is always so warm, kind and professional. It’s not a pleasant treatment but she makes it one with her care and attention. She is so focused on a positive customer experience and she always remembers what’s going on in my life and helps distract me with lovely chat. My treatment has been so successful that I rarely need to go anymore and I’m both so grateful but also sad because I don’t get to see her as often!

AVOID !!!!
They will tell you ABSOLUTE LIES, just to get your money!!
I was told that a procedure would only take 4-5 sessions.
After 4-5 sessions of this very painful & very expensive procedure; I needed a lot more !!

I was THEN told that they weren't able to say exactly how many sessions I'd need, but tried to offer a further 4 sessions as compensation!! Why? If they couldn't tell me how many more sessions were needed!??

Even after proving that I was told it would only take 4-5 sessions, the manager refused to acknowledge this was the case & refused my request for a partial refund!

I've been so upset by this entire situation & the manager just 'threw' T's & C's at me.
For a company that is supposed to be interested in YOUR wellbeing, this was dreadful.

I'm sure the reply to this review will be a load of lies, as that's all I've had from them!

My 5th session of facial treatments and massage with Beautology UK at Coldharbour Rd, Bristol and couldn’t be happier! Their staff are ever so nice and accommodating and the treatments are tailored to my skin needs and leave me looking glowing and amazing…every time I have a treatment it’s ‘me time’, so so lovely!

Purchased a mytime mini restore told to expect a call from the team but was never called, tried to email to arrange an appointment but never received a reply. Called and told I would be called back which didn’t happen. Eventually 8 weeks after purchase I was contacted via text message. I asked for a refund but was told they only gave refunds in the first two weeks of purchase. Avoid and be careful of paying for anything upfront.
