So far never had to use the breakdown assist but renewing and contact has always been easy and price is reasonable.

Refreshingly quick and easy to set up, no faff, all information immediately available and membership completed in jig time at a reasonable price for cover.

Easy smooth transaction

Reviews give this company a good listing, and the yearly fee is competitive. Previous company costs were increasing continually, even when my car is kept in good mechanical condition and rarely make a claim for breakdown.

I have been a member for over 7 years and not needed it. We called on it late last year to start my husband's car as we wanted to store it in our garage and the battery had gone flat. Auto aid refused to do it because the car was SORN and they said my husband could then drive it on the road!! As if. However, if we paid them £150 they would come and do it! We called our local garage and they came and did it for nothing.
In January this year I had a flat tyre. Despite explaining to the call handler/s I was with a vulnerable person, it took over 3 hours for the garage to arrive. Once he was there the garage guy was very pleasant. However, the very long wait was unacceptable, particularly in the circumstances I had explained.
So I decided not to renew this year because of these experiences, but forgot it was on auto renew (how I hate that system). I phoned on the day it renewed but a rather officious woman made it clear it was all my own fault and I would have to pay a cancellation fee of over £26. I emailed the customer service Department on the address she gave me to explain the position - they have not even replied. Clearly they have no interest in why I have not renewed after so many years.

The questions were too the point and easy to understand. Very quick to arrange cover.

Easy to navigate to renew breakdown cover

Have had breakdown insurance with this company for several years now and have had to use it several times too! Recovery is always easy to arrange and has always been within reasonable time - even from a remote location once! Auto renewal makes sure you're always covered and the price is very reasonable for the level of cover you get.
