A good cover for our 2 cars both my husband & I feel happy with the cover.
Price acceptable and now that 1 vehicle is 11yrs ok with a £25 fee on call out.
Not sure why £11 handling fee us added to final notice though.

Have been a member for many years now and was disappointed that my renewal was around £120. I went on the website and applied for a new quote and the price was around £60, a massive difference. I called the customer services and the agent was extremely helpful and set my existing cover was cancelled and I was able to purchase the new quote. Great service!!

My car broke down in the Peak District. The company provided recovery, but only to the nearest garage, even though my town was not much further away.
I had to find a garage myself, even though all the garages were closed at the time. After my car was towed to the garage, I found out the next day that their earliest available appointment was a month away.
I then had to spend another £120 to have the car towed to a garage in my own town, which had an available appointment. All of this could have been avoided if the company had simply taken the car an additional 15 miles.
I have used this company’s services before without any problems. However, after this experience, I am now starting to look for another company.anyway quick recovery arranged in peak district

We have unfortunately had to be recovered home twice in as many weeks both times over 100 miles from home and once with 2 children.

Both times we had to pay a £25 fee as our car is over 10 years old (all agreed in advance when policy was purchased and honestly a tiny price to pay for piece of mind). The second time we needed to provide proof that we had tried to fix the issue, which was the straightforward emailing of a receipt/invoice.

Both times the breakdown was reported through the app and I received a call back from Auto Aid quickly to discuss our issues.

Because, on both occasions, I had found a local garage that could perform a diagnostic test, we bypassed the initial roadside call out and were offered recovery straight away.

The first time we were allocated Chris from Regal Contracts in Leicester and the second time Christian from Burke Brothers Recovery from the Loughborough area.

Both absolutely lovely guys and we cannot express how grateful we are to them for getting us home safely and in one journey without us having to be relayed.

I can't recommend AutoAid highly enough, pricing and service have been excellent.

In a world where things are increasingly expensive and service levels non existent, Autoaid are actually a very good service at a reasonable price.

Cover is wide ranging and competitively priced. Definitely worth considering for breakdown cover.

So simple and covers the most likely unfortunate aspects of a motoring disasters. This cover will ensure a stressful situation does not escalate to a diss-stressful experience.

I would have given it 5 stars but recently i had to callyou as my car would not start, as it is an old car you charged me £25 if it had to be transported to a garage. My neighbour jumped started it as the battery was old so i went to Halfords after i canceled my request for assitance from you and had a new battery fitted. I was not reinbursed the £25 or had any further contact from you to see if i was in fact able to drive the car again

Only needed one call out and the truck came out quickly from a local location. Man was knowledgeable and helpful. When you ring you get to speak to a real person straight away who knows what you’re talking about; I once made a silly mistake with payments and was reimbursed very quickly. Excellent value and service.

I had a very unpleasant experience two days ago. I had a blow-out and all I needed was someone to come and change the wheel as I am no longer able to do it myself (78-year-old female). After ten minutes explaining to the lady on the phone where I was, she gave me two options:- 1) go online to arrange for someone to come out and maybe sort it, or2) someone could come out and take my car to a garage!! I said that was ridiculous - I couldn't go online, and I didn't need to go to a garage. At this point my friend who was with me said "tell her to forget it and phone Rab", so that's what I did and it was fixed in less than an hour.

Easy, efficient, gave me everything I need and very affordable
