Andy and Lewis of Auto 100 were excellent. The level of customer service, the friendly professional interactions through the whole process was seamless. The cars were even better than the photos and descriptions on the website. The companies premises and stock of quality high end cars were WOW. Great quality cars at competitive prices. They are a firm you can trust. Auto 100 would certainly get my repeat business. I travelled a long way to get the car as I could not wait to have it delivered to a convenient location. It was certainly worth the journey. Thanks guys for making it a wonderful experience.

Purchased a car through Auto100

Fantastic!

Bought my Range Rover last week and the service was faultless. From start to finish, nothing was too much trouble. The car was presently beautifully and looked a million dollars under the lights. The handover process from Lewis was really smooth and efficient. He even helped pair my phone and set my Sat nav up for me.

Lotus Emira Warranty Claim

I bought a Lotus Emira from Auto100 in late October. The engine warning light came on during my free 3 month warranty period. I emailed Simon at Auto 100 and with 10 minutes I had a response and a solution. Long story short I got a new sensor fitted by my local Lotus dealer and Auto100 paid for it with no hassle. Excellent service again from Auto100, I can't fault them.

From the moment I reached out via email…

From the moment I reached out via email with an inquiry, I received a call from Richard within a few hours who was very polite, helpful, and professional in answering all my queries. Between Richard and Simon the process of arranging the finance agreements to having the car ready for my visit was fantastic. On the day Lewis was a pleasure to deal with and was a great help with showing us around the car, familiarising us to all the car has to offer and taking us out on a test drive. Once the deal was done setting up the wife's phone to the Bluetooth was a nice touch. Was a great experience dealing with the whole team.

Hello,

I wanted to share my recent experience with Auto100, which I absolutely do not recommend. Before the sale, Christopher Smith was quite helpful and responsive to my calls. However, this was unfortunately the peak of their service.

The collection process was nothing short of a disaster. It was a diabolical experience filled with constant broken promises, which is frankly unacceptable when spending over £70,000. If you are looking for poor after-sales service and rude, aggressive staff members, then Auto100 is the place for you.

Given the opportunity, I would have given 0 stars. The service was poor and unprofessional, completely ruining my experience. I will certainly not be using their services again.

We have been in regular contact with you over the past two weeks regarding your concerns, which relate to an alleged mileage discrepancy of approximately 500 miles and the vehicle not being supplied with a completely full tank of fuel despite no agreement for this. After reviewing our records, we are unable to agree that these points justify a vehicle return you have requested.

We regret your dissatisfaction, however we have engaged throughout in a fair and professional manner and remain available should you wish to discuss the matter further.

Poor experience

Poor service coupled with a condescending attitude in two occasions means I’ll never go back.

Called on two different occasions over the last few months when I was in the area, I live miles away.

They were rude, would not book appointments, then told me if they did I had to commit to buy.

On both occasions I’ve now bought elsewhere so they’ve lost just over £100k in sales!

Almost felt like they thought they were doing me a favour by even talking to me.

The last car I wanted to view, they still have and it’s steadily falling in price :-)

new car purchase

Just picked up my new car and the whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. Lewis and Anthony made the purchase and part-exchange completely smooth and stress-free – no pressure, no pushy sales tactics, just genuine advice and friendly service. As a lovely surprise, they handed the car over with a completely full tank of fuel! Really felt looked after and valued as a customer. Couldn’t ask for more. A very unusual company

A very unusual company. Before dropping a £500 deposit on a car, I called auto100 to discuss the vehicle. I spoke to a salesman who was polite but unmoving in the sale of the vehicle, in that I would have to take the vehicle away the day I test drove it AND did I want it ceramic coating for a special price. This was my first red flag. I have never know or bought a car that has been prepared before I have driven it as I have driven cars that weren’t right for me. It’s seemed very strange and almost pushing the car onto me. I quizzed the salesman and they said I would definitely buy it. We arranged for me to pop down before purchasing but the salesman was on a day off. This was to dot the I’s and cross the t’s with the service & mot. I dropped the deposit on the car.

When I arrived, the person in reception was polite, albeit I don’t think they expected me. They showed me the car but claimed there were no keys to start it which worried me. I checked the mot and service and it was from three months previous. The great thing was the service was up to date including a timing belt that had been done earlier than req but the last service was from a Porsche specialist nearby. This led me to feel it wasn’t a Porsche dealer so the stamp not as worthy as from a AD. The Mot had no faults either but when I checked DVLA the previous MOT had an advisory on the rear suspension. This was another red flag as the car’s paperwork was good less any suspension repair but undeterred as the car did look nice, I was quoted £1700 from Porsche if it did need doing. After this the keys were found for the car and I was left with a fair amount of time to check it over. I then asked if I could have the AA check it over but was flatly told no as they rip our cars apart. The red flags continued to grow and despite wanting this car, the salesman wouldn’t budge. I asked for a new MOT which would have cost very little to have completed. I didn’t ask for any discount as was told there are 9 people interested in this car. Anyways my gut feeling overrode my want for this car and fair play, my refund was back in my account within minutes. The salesman sounded boastful that the car was already sold.

Naturally I felt really down about missing out on this car and the salesman wouldn’t budge technique used to have it or not have it. Now it could be said about me that I was hesitant but I gained some relief by keeping an eye on this car. It continued to be on the site but for £1k less! It didn’t sell but after a few weeks it kept dropping in price by much more than I wanted off it (a new mot). Eventually it must have sold as dvla now shows it was MOT’d and taxed a few days ago.

My feedback of this company is the strangest I have written. I am pleased I got a full refund, gutted they couldn’t keep me as a customer, yet feel I’ve dodged a bullet should something have gone wrong. I found many more reviews from other sites which tend to mirror the same experience I had so I would ask Auto100 to review their sales techniques as they could have sold this motor to me months ago just for a fresh mot to reassure me and not the £1,000’s less they let it go for.

Regarding pricing, we do price our vehicles fairly to the market at all times. On this occasion, market movement going into winter meant the car’s price changed after your visit. While not the best business decision, we agree, it is the transparent pricing market leading policy we pride ourselves on.
