I am out of pocket by over £2000. Be very aware. When you call this company you can never get through to a staff member. You have to leave a message for someone to call you back! I paid for the highest level of cover offered by the car dealer, (over £1000) I had to get two diagnostic reports (costing over £400) from separate garages as the work was complex. I followed the "claims process" and submitted my claim which was rejected "as the work required was not covered by the warranty as detailed in the booklet"! The booklet is an email attachment sent after you've signed the agreement!. It seems the warranty only covers things that won't break inside the 2 year warranty. I would suggest that before you use this company see if you can find any other company to cover your vehicle. Expensive and poor product. Poor customer service

I have had a terrible experience with Bluechip. I purchased a second hand car with 6 month warranty. The battery died on the car and I rang to make a claim. I was allowed to make a claim, and told to go and get quotes. It was hard to get quotes because mechanics were reluctant to work with a warranty company because they are hard to deal with. Also very hard to get a quote when car is not able to start and I can’t bring it to a mechanic? To cut a long story short, they strung me a long for 3 days without a car and after putting a bit of pressure on them, I was told they don’t fix batteries and that I should have read my manual. I rang the dealer who told me that they didn’t realise Bluechip were this bad and that they would sort it out. I raised a complaint with Bluechip but got a corporate robot dealing with it who was as much use as the claim handler. All in all, a terrible experience and in future I’d rather just pay for repairs than deal with this lot

I got a car and Bluechip warranty was my warranty, they are great they helped me fix my car when it needed fixed and they responded fast with the garage who fixed my car. I would recommend more car dealership using Bluechip warranty.

Unacceptable Claims Process - Confirmed Coverage, Then Declined
I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the handling of my warranty claim for a failed water pump on my vehicle (claim filed on March 3rd).
After an initial back-and-forth for information, I finally received confirmation from a member of your team that the water pump is a listed covered component under my repair agreement.
However, despite this confirmation and the diagnosis from a JLR specialist indicating an internal failure (short circuit, fault code P2600-13), the claim was placed on hold and essentially rejected. The reason given is that the "cause for the short circuit failure" must be confirmed, which would require me to authorise the dismantling of the component. When the garage confirmed this didn’t need to be done , after several more emails they declined based on Bluechip states that the vehicle repair agreement does not cover any form of wiring or water ingress, and therefore the repair does not fall within their liability.
My JLR specialist has advised in the email thread that dismantling is unnecessary, as the failure is internal and confirmed via visual inspection and diagnostics. They stated clearly: "We do not need to strip down the vehicle... the part that requires replacement has an internal failure, the part is not functioning correctly."
It feels as though I am being subjected to a deliberate delay tactic and an unfair requirement to avoid honouring a valid claim on a component that has been confirmed as covered. I have paid a significant amount for this warranty and expected a professional assessment, not a rejection based on a refusal to accept the diagnosis of a certified specialist.
I urge the Bluechip Warranty claims management team to review my entire correspondence and reconsider the decision. This level of service is unacceptable

What can I say from start to finish it's been a breeze easy from the off and straight forward to get paid i made a mess on some of the paper work but they were there every step of the way to put me right really good service and company

Do not trust them.
1⭐ Very Poor Service
Extremely disappointing experience with Bluechip Warranty Ltd asked me to obtain a repair quotation, which took time and effort and £96 only to later tell me the issue wasn’t covered under the warranty. If it wasn’t covered, they should have said that from the start instead of wasting my time and money
Poor communication and a completely frustrating process. I definitely would not recommend dealing with this company. Warranty not worth the paper or email it wrote on. Do not trust them.

6 Month Warranty supplied from dealership.
I bought a used vehicle from a dealer who sold it with a 6 month Bluechip warranty, and having never used a warranty company previously, I was apprehensive on how the service would be.
I was pleasantly surprised.
The customer service over the phone was very helpful and although the claims procedure initially was alien to me (as my garage didn’t want to deal with Bluechip directly), it actually was much smoother than anticipated!
My vehicle was booked in to the garage, diagnosed with the fault, the claim submitted and approved by Bluechip, the fault repaired and I was reimbursed by Bluechip(the majority of the cost of the repair), within the same week.
I hope I don’t have to deal with them again, but if I do I’d be confident in their standard of service.

Absolutely shocking company and would advise any person to think before using them
Cannot reply to your absurd comment.
The radiator cracked and caused a leak. It was not damaged or corrosion did not cause this. There is absolutely zero corrosion anywhere near the crack.
Also would like to point out that radiators are made of aluminium and they do not corrode.
Also on the paperwork and booklets we received with the cover it states that we are covered for a repair if the car or parts fail. Use are a con of a company using anything to get out of fixing a car all because our warranty cover was due to expire.
People stay clear of this company.

Very bad experience . When I buy policy your dealer say we cover this this. But when I go for claim you sending lot of condition. Before I take van in garage I call your team. She clearly say they cover my van timing belt. I tell her van mileage as well. Now you say mileage overdue . Why she didn’t said. And your team send me email your claim successfull . Why not they said they need inspection before I take garage. Plz reply
