The experience buying our new mattress was very easy and pleasant. We were given plenty of space and time to discover the mattress that best suited us, with extensive explanations and guidance regarding the different types of mattresses available when we asked. They are the only mattress store I have found with affordable pricing on chemical free kids mattresses! We live in San Antonio and this is the closest store to us to offer this. We purchased a full size mattress from Austin Natural Mattress for the guest bed in our baby’s room in 2015, and now in 2020 we have ordered 3 more twin mattresses from them for our boys who now have big boy beds. I recommend this store to all my friends who want chemical free for their kids, but don’t want to spend $1000 or even $500 on a kids mattress.

Great experience! Dalton was incredibly helpful. We came with two beds in mind to choose from, but he redirected us to one we liked even better. He spent time to educate us and help us think of all the sleep scenarios that could help us make the right decision. Not to mention we had our 2 yr old in tow and he kept her entertained while we tested out our new bed. Very satisfied and will highly recommend!

I had a great visit to the store to do some preliminary mattress searching/information gathering. I was helped by the wonderful Frank, who gave me space to look at the mattresses on my own until I came to him with questions. He is very knowledgeable and really took the time to educate and inform me about the many kinds of mattresses in the store. I came in feeling daunted by the sheer vastness of different kinds of mattresses, mattress materials, what is best for my body type, what details to be skeptical of. By the time I left, I felt equipped with enough personalized information to make a smart purchase.

Regardless of the mattress itself, the service here is phenomenal. Our mattress guru, Charles (and his faithful sidekick Wade), guided us through a no-pressure sales process that made our whole family feel like we were in control the whole time. He patiently answered our questions, allowed us to test, think, and re-test, and knew more about our sleep needs than we did ourselves. He answered each of our pestering emails in thorough and understandable detail, and entertained us and our kids across multiple trips to the store. We ended up buying 3 mattresses (a Naturepedic natural Dunlop latex king and two twins) with all the trimmings - shredded latex adjustable pillows; organic cotton pillows; mattress protectors; sheets; etc.; all for a better price than you will find anywhere else online. Thank you for making us feel comfortable in what is likely a decades long purchase!

Mattress to the Max

Max at Natural Mattress off Burnet Rd was great! My partner and I came in a little clueless. We knew how much we wanted to spend but we had no idea what was in our budget.

Max walked us around to each bed and answered all our questions, and then gave us the space to talk and think through.

In the end, we took his recommendation and now, 3 months later, we are still happy with our choice.

Fantastic Experience! I had a great mattress buying experience at Austin Natural Mattress. They are knowledgeable and professional, and helped me find the perfect mattress based on what I needed. Their mattresses are high quality, organic and super comfortable. They also sell bases that you can use to adjust the bed (if your spouse is snoring), which are awesome. They are also super nice to my three kids - which any parent trying to do errands would appreciate.

I didn't have a specific brand or type of mattress in mind when I visited Austin Natural Mattress. Bert, the manager, asked a lot of questions as to how I sleep and suggested a particular mattress. I didn't plan on purchasing a mattress that day but I found the perfect mattress. I was sold!
