Having ordered a new car over 6 months ago, I was called at 16.00pm on the Friday 27th February to be told my car has a fault and cannot be delivered, further more that part is on back order. Although this is an Arval vehicle I appreciate the issue is with Audi at Hatfield. They have been shocking to say the least, They currently have no idea as to when the part will arrive, i get given a number to call that directs me to the AA with no option to discuss anything and then a second number is given to a gentleman that has left the company. Although i have a demo from Audi they want it back asap as they need it to sell cars.... at their current run rate i am surprised anyone would buy an Audi. I have heard nothing from Arval at all so i guess its a leave it to the customer philosophy. Disappointing as my previous lease and experience with Arval for the last 6 years was exceptional.

Leased our car through Arval for the last 5.5 years. Great responsive service, always accommodating and quick to reply. As we were ending our lease our new car was delayed, i am pregnant and Arval were happy to keep our contract rolling so we had continuity of a car. Charlotte was always responsive and helpful - thank you!

Very efficient with delivery & collection of vehicle.
Not always good at communicating additional charges. Also don't like the fact any parking offences are paid up front, making it difficult to claim back if not at fault.
Other than that, everything was good.

I recently got a puncture by driving into a concealed kerb stone. Luckily near home. Phoned Arval for recovery and tire replacement and they were great. Handled everything professionally and politely. Next day recovery services were very responsive. Tire replacement was at local Kwik Fit and we could only take the tire as driving was awkward since I could not drive with a puncture. Overall Arval service response was great

Ordered a car through salary sacrifice in November 2025. Company paperwork were confirmed on 12/12/2025. Arval got in touch in the first week of January to ask about changing the mirror caps colour. Approved it immediately. Arval got in touch on 29th January saying the specs I requested would be factory order but if I want to switch the interior colour to beige (at no extra charge), the vehicle would be ready in March or April. Approved it immediately. Two days later I prompted Arval via email for a confirmation. I received email confirmation of the change in interior colour. Now in March, I asked for estimated delivery. Surprise! Within 1 hour and 30 mins, I received an automated email saying my order has been confirmed with a delivery date of October 2026. I called to ask what’s going on. Person I spoke with said he could see the correspondence trail but will need to check with my account team if the order was placed and reassured me I could cancel the whole order at no charge. Arval, what did I do wrong?

I had a couple of issues with parking fines that had been given in error to my company car. Every time I have spoken to or emailed Arval they have been extremely helpful and kept me updated throughout the whole process. Rachel handled my latest query and saw it through until it was resolved. She was very efficient and professional, thank you!

Yet again they sent me an overdue notice on my car lease payment. It was taken on DD today and at lunch - as per normal - they sent the notice.
A complaint with them was sorted out over 6 wks ago and the £15 payment they owed me was paid in February for a complaint raised in September 2025.
WHAT IS WRONG WITH THEM
It is my opinion that they have zero respect for their customers

After nearly a year of complaining about a faulty battery Arval continue to pretend the Audi Q4 50 battery is performing as expected. The current range showing is circa 130 miles on a car which is advertised with a 284 mile range. The car is only 2 years old and has only done 14,000 miles. Driving any distance is such a pain that it happens very rarely as I have to stop every 100 miles for a full recharge which costs approx £35-40
Often the car will refuse to charge at service stations as condensation stops prevents the connection, which means there is a delay of 30 minutes while the condensation evaporates. The car can be tricked in to charging by moving back or forwards multiples times (approx 10) or many vigorous shakes but the charge is still very temperamental. ARVAL say it needs Audi to say the car is faulty, obviously Audi don’t want to admit the car and battery is a dog so the pretence continues. At what point do they all admit it clearly isn’t fit for purpose and accept the contract needs to be cancelled. In my opinion never trust Audi and never get car finance from ARVAL. Role on the class action when they will end up paying £billions back for faulty cars and bad process. I have tried for 9 months to speak to a senior director at ARVAL and am constantly ‘managed’ by mid level customer relations people.
ARVAL BNP please step up, stop avoiding the problem, get a senior director to look at the problem.
Last week I was told by Audi HQ ‘the cars value £65-68k doesn’t lead to better range’ ???!!!
I think in that statement they have just killed their business model. While it has been in the Audi Bath garage in the past two weeks while they tried to pre-condition the battery the range has actually gone down. If it wasn’t costing £700 per month the situation would be funny.

Reasonable adjustments not adhered to.
I have a mental health disability and Arval agreed (As per the Equality Act 2010) to make communication with me each time I correspond with them. I mean, they should do anyway.
But a complaint over 6 weeks old now has had no correspondence.
It should have, but has not.
