Recently purchased an insurance policy and couldn’t be happier with the customer service, help and care this company has showed me!

Looking for insurance for my great nephew who is off to uni in a couple of weeks. Website is user friendly and prices/cover extremely good. Would recommend.

So on 31/07/24 I started a claim for my iPhone and I have been push around , numerous emails, not to mention a few rude phone calls, today 22/8/24 I am still no further forward with getting my phone fixed, with each email response I send, I seem to have to wait a week for another contact and again it is to ask something else, website states they should respond within 48 hours, It is just stall after stall with another email, I have paid my insurance on time since Jan 2023 and I am getting such poor service now I need to make a claim, I would avoid this company at all costs if you are looking for phone insurance, I have another phone insured via my bank and at least they provide great customer service , will take my custom elsewhere if I do ever get my phone sorted via this insurance policy.
So this saga continues, after being contacted on Friday 23/8 by a very assertive male who gave no apology for all this hassle, I was assured all was in hand with my phone repair after paying £100 for the privilege. ( I have been with this insurance company since January 2023 and paid monthly insurance by direct debit trustingly) since this phone call I have received several texts from their repair company OLogic, advising me to download their app for further instructions and tracking, this app does not work , the screen is blank and when using my repair reference number via their OLogic website, it shows me nothing, I have emailed again, this time asking for a refund of my insurance payments and the £100 as I feel this company has not fulfilled their contract and with the refund I can then take my phone to Apple Genius Bar and pay the £350 I was quoted on 31/07/2024 to repair my phone, but oh no wait I have insurance with Arma Karma…….4 weeks later still with a broken phone and £100 out of pocket and another monthly direct debit paid….it would be laughable if I was not so upset and angry and phone-less!!!

It’s now the evening of 10/09/2024 and guess what? Still no phone and no update from company after receiving an email saying they we were chasing up my repair on 05/09/24, I have sent several emails to both Armakarma and Ologic, who are supposed to be the company carrying out my phone repair, they revived my phone on 02/09/2024, I have given up hope of ever getting my phone back now, I have asked for all my money to be refunded too but I doubt that will have either, AVOID AVOID AVOID THIS COMPANY IS MY ADVICE

It is terrible company they are trying to get money out of our pocket and when we need to submit claim they turn into scam company I recommend everyone not to waste money by dealing with them

I purchased stand alone insurance for my prescription Ray Ban sunglasses. The website is exceptionally user friendly, the price was very reasonable and the whole process tock around 3 minutes.

awful service, slow responses. I have been waiting 9 days since making a claim and am no closer to getting my phone fixed. The communication is poor and this is my second time making a claim, due to what I believe is further damage after they did not repair my phone adequately last time.
ArmaKarma outsource their insurance claims to Davies Group who do not respond. I feel really angry with the lack of support received so far and I would not recommend the company to anybody.

Just got some new AirPods. Heard of Arma karma and was impressed with the speed and ease of getting them insured.

These guys are absolutely useless! Despite me having my phone stolen & waiting 3 hours in a police station to get the official police report + providing proof of purchase + all other evidence required- Arma Karma refused to pay my claim because I could not provide 'proof of usage.' This is just a loop hole for them to get out of paying their customers!!! My phone was my own & purchased by me hence I wanted to ensure the PHONE not the SIM CARD. The sim card within it was my company's & therefore a business sim card which was not under my name nor did I have access to the network provider. They refused to pay without a letter from my network provider even though I got an official letter from my employer to explain why I could not provide this. THEY ARE CROOKS and will make any excuse not to pay you!

So pleased with Arma Karma so far!

I was trying to find a policy to cover a secondhand device and not having much luck. Arma Karma’s policy covered exactly what I needed, and it strikes me as a really fair system and a really ethically conscious company (as far as any company could be).

Also, they were really clear about which secondhand devices are covered! I’ve been finding that other companies hide exactly what they’ll cover or have really confusing policy wording, but Arma Karma couldn’t have been clearer when I signed up and I really appreciated that, given my specific requirements.

I really love that they’re a B Corp and donate 25% of what they make from each subscription to a charity (either you choose or they select for you). That was definitely a selling point even without them being one of the few companies that met my needs.

As soon as it’s viable for me, I’d definitely consider switching all my devices to their insurance. Even aside from the clear process and reasonable rates and excesses, I really support what they’re doing to give a little back, and the fact that they have B Corp status is a really good sign to me. Super happy customer so far!

5 star customer service, the policy offers more than other gadget cover policies around the same price 💷
