There are many settings I would like to access that are only available to engineers, I would also like to see optimum start added to the control to optimise energy efficiency with varying weather conditions.

We have Ariston EVO 30 boiler , we went away on
the 24/01 for a short break in the Cotswolds ( I have booking confirmation and invoices to support this) we returned on the 29/01 to find the boiler in fault and it would not reset. Called the gas engineer he attended and after consulting with Ariston the boiler required a new circuit board but they also informed him the warranty expired 25/01 so the parts would be chargeable after we had explained that we were away ect Ariston just said the boiler is out of warranty a per are terms and conditions our gas engineer ten asked if the would do a fixed price repair , they replied we don’t offer that service anymore, he then asked would you contribute with a small good will gesture and all they could say was no we are operating within our terms and conditions.
The engineer returned on the 4/02 when he had received the part and again spoke to Ariston technical who informed him that if this was a retro fit to an existing boiler there was a modification required to the ignition system and he would require another part which he got shipped overnight and returned 5/02 to fit it.
So we again spoke to Ariston bearing in mind we had now been without heater or hot water for 7days and we ate 66 & 71 years of age,but again they were not interested .
All in all with the boiler being 4 days out of warranty
and the engineer being given inaccurate information all Ariston can say is we are working within our terms and conditions
Shall not replace replace this boiler with an Ariston product when required or recommend them to anyone telling them to stay well clear , worst customer service we have ever received from any company

Cuando te da error 108 , se desplazan a tu casa a "solucionarlo " y te cobran casi 64 euros, porque no entra dentro de la garantía. Cuidado novatos! Ahi viene el fraude!

The installation was carried out easily the heat pump has given no problems at all the annual service is all that has been needed, it has saved me a lot of work as opposed to the solid fuel system we had and 100% hot water and warm winters for us so no complaints.

I have no complaints to make about the fitters
The boiler which was fitted was too deep for the wall mounted kitchen cabinets , in comparison to my two previous boilers (both Valiant) at my previous address (2000 and 2014) which were very neat and fitted into my then existing 300mm deep cabinets and had a digital control for the boiler pressure right on the front of the boiler ,making it easy to see and the pressure inlets were close at hand and almost eye level making them easy to operate . We were desperate to have a new boiler fitted at the soonest, at our new address, in the face of the cold snap in the weather being predicted,so we kind of folded a bit ,despite Steven explaining the extra depth of the boiler at the time.
Apart from above ,my main disappiontment is with how this Ariston boiler has been designed.
The only mechanics in a boiler the customer has to deal with, are the controls for recharging the pressure ,but in this Ariston model ,the taps are not too close to hand as you have to stoop too low to operate them and in doing this, the small watch -face- size manual guage ,which is further recessed and more in the shadow than the pressure controls ,is obscured by one's hand and arms and really hard to read when at the same time one is trying not to overcharge the boiler.For someone whose sight and mobility is not the best, it is not ideal.
I of course ,wasn't aware of the difficulty of operating the pressure guages until it was demonstrated after fitting.
I can only imagine how difficult it must be for someone less agile in the neck muscles ( l am almost 79) and with poorer sight than me ,let alone in a wheelchair.
The model does feel very 1990's.

As soon as the fault was reported, the incident was instantly reported to the service engineer, who called within 5 minutes. Great service!

I rang Ariston because my thermostat stopped working at less than a year old. I was advised that it was under guarantee and that the engineer would contact me. He rang and told me that they guaranteed boilers but not thermostats. I asked about purchasing a new one and was told to contact my local engineers. NOT helpful at all.
I then contacted Ariston again and put in a complaint. They asked several questions and requested photographs, which I supplied. ( I would like to point out that I registered the system with Ariston when I moved into a new build bungalow so they already had all the details ) They then passed me on to a third party company who came out to fit a new thermostat. I have no complaints about the lady engineer who came out - she was really good - full marks for her. The whole process took 4/6 weeks. Unacceptable !!!! Also if I had not complained, Ariston would not have been any assistance at all and I would have ended up buying a new thermostat and had to pay for fitting.

I rang Aristotle and they sent an engineer who fixed the problem straightaway!
