I’m always notified in advance of the representative arriving. The representative is polite and friendly and always addresses any issues we have.

I never received a notice when someone…

I never received a notice when someone was arriving at my home prior to the date they were here.
I only wanted service for twice a year not every 2-3 months.
The service person who went ahead and did service without authorization only left a note with of what was done and no photos. I was unable to see any work accomplished.
The customer service could only give a $50 refund and no notice when I could use it.
It is not the customer service nor technician’s fault. I think the way you schedule service is poor. I’m think I may end service with your company.

Ants

I had a serious problem with ants. At one point, they literally took over the house. After the first visit from active, the ants were gone and never returned. The first treatment was inside and outside and all subsequent treatments are outside only. I have met two of their technicians. Both were very presentable and polite.

Mouse catch

They are still trying to catch the mouse in my house. They have come already 3 times and still it is not caught.

Ineffective treatments with polite people

This company strong-arms you into signing up for their service. The people are super nice, but the treatments are not effective. During my first three months, I had three outbreaks in a row, all of which I needed to deal with. Also, they expect their people to work on National Holidays. On Presidents' Day, they came out and sprayed my yard in the pouring rain, with rain continuing for the next several days.

Aptive did not deliver as promised

Aptive did not deliver as promised. I signed up with a salesman and they promised me 5 vent covers. Ethan said he would bring them to me when I signed up. I emailed and no response. Very disappointed in this company.

The technician only spent 11 minutes at…

The technician only spent 11 minutes at my house. He sprayed, but I don’t believe he did any cleaning of cobwebs. I have a very large yard and I do not think that 11 minutes is enough time to do the job properly.

Service people are enthusiastic and…

Service people are enthusiastic and dedicated to doing a great job. They listen to customer concerns. Very thorough - including brushing off cobwebs from house exterior. Very good systems in place to handle service requests, alert on arrival time, and photo documentation of work done. I'm very impressed with the high level of customer service - best I've experienced.

Problem is info given by the Rep who sold it

Nothing goes wrong with the service and service people. Problem is that the Representative who sold at the door did not tell me that service does not cover termites and rat abatement nor that there‘s a fee for stopping early. Talked to a neighbor who was quoted half the amount for the same service cuz he complained about the high price. What gives????

Are we getting to the problem?

This is the third attempt, 2 specific, 1 normal service. We have a small (size) ant infestation.
We have identified the locations and possible entry points. Aptive has spaged outside twice and laid bait on the inside once.
Ants still exist. There has been no suggestions on a more intense entry specific (i.e, going under house, crawl space along plumbing, etc.) made. We were told on the internal service that the bait laid would be carried back to the queen, which in turn would kill the colony.
Still ants persist. Granted not quite as many but still exist.
