We couldn’t be happier with the sliding doors supplied and installed by Apex Glazing. The 7.5m opening across the back of our house has completely transformed the space, creating a stunning connection between indoors and outdoors and giving the whole property a real sense of luxury.

The low-profile sliding doors look incredibly sleek, and the solar-reflective glass is a fantastic addition, helping to keep the space comfortable while maintaining a bright, open feel. Despite the impressive size of the glass panels, the doors glide effortlessly on their metal rollers, and the flush frame gives a beautifully clean, contemporary finish.

From the initial consultation through to installation and aftercare, the attention to detail and genuinely personal approach have been exceptional. Really happy with the whole experience. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, turned up when they said they would, and did a great job fitting the windows. They worked efficiently, cleaned up after themselves, and the finish is spot on.

You can already notice the difference in the house . The whole process was straightforward from start to finish, and I’d happily recommend them to anyone looking for new windows or doors.

Do not use this company at any cost. The installation was deemed unfit for purpose via a RISA Limited inspection. All windows and doors had to be replaced. Nearly 30k lost.

Sunny and team were very helpful in replacing a broken sash in our sliding doors. Usually there is a long lead time but due to the urgency of the situation, Sunny was able to get this replaced within 3 weeks! The guys came and did a fantastic job. Would definitely recommend Apex not just for the product, but also the service.

I’m really happy with the service I received from Apex Double Glazing. A gentleman called Happy looked after everything and he was absolutely amazing — super helpful, professional, and kept us updated throughout on the progress of the doors we ordered.
The fitter was excellent as well, and once the job was finished they cleaned up properly and took all the mess away with them. Couldn’t ask for more. 100% satisfied and would definitely recommend.

Don't know where these 5-star reviews come from, but this company doesn't do what they are meant to do...Like, give a Fensa guarantee after installing, fix snags that they never tended to, used shoddy and inferior dirt and fingerprint-filled glazing units....I could go on and on...this has been going on for Years

Good quality windows, let down at times by installation oversight.

Apex surveyed our full home renovation and were flexible as the project evolved, including window changes, a Juliet balcony, and later FD30 fire-rated internal glazing. They also came back out to re-survey more than once as our requirements changed, which we appreciated — no charge for the extra visits.

The windows themselves are a strong product: aluminium frames, triple glazing with Planitherm glass for good thermal and acoustic performance, toughened glass, and FD30 fire-rated glazing internally where needed for building control compliance. Once correctly specified and fitted, they look and perform well.

A few issues along the way:

Wrong glass installed initially: We specified triple glazing with Planitherm throughout. Apex initially fitted standard double glazing on the lower floors, only catching it after we queried the spec. They acknowledged the error and replaced it, though this delayed the painters and tilers waiting on those rooms.
Missed paid survey: We paid a deposit for a fire-rated glazing survey on an agreed date, which Apex didn't turn up to — we only found out after chasing.
Wrong sealant on fire-rated windows: Installers turned up to seal FD30 windows with standard (non fire-rated) silicone. We had to catch this ourselves and have them sent back for the correct product.
Paint damage: Installation left paintwork around the windows damaged. Apex initially pushed back on this being their responsibility, but eventually arranged touch-up visits, though it took a couple of follow-ups to get it done properly.
Building control documentation: Getting the certification needed for building control (fire rating, U-values, toughened glass, Part K for the balcony) took weeks of repeated chasing.
Seal defect, fixed fast: A seal on one of the units later came away from the frame. To Apex's credit, once we flagged it, they were out and fixed it within two days — genuinely good after-sales responsiveness.
Overall: a good quality product and a team willing to accommodate changes and come back when needed, but it required us to actively catch and flag installation errors rather than Apex catching them first. Worth using, but go in expecting to check their work closely.

You hear a lot of horror stories about Double Glazing companies hard sales tactics and shoddy workmanship

Did a great job of giving us new windows and doors throughout the house during our full house renovation. Fitted us with a lovely oriel window box that everyone comments on. They also suggested, provided and fitted our Edwardian property with flush floor-to-ceiling ultra thin sliding doors across the back facing our garden. Lovely interior crittal doors too. Would highly recommend Sunny and his team.

We had been planning to replace our windows and patio door and had been looking out for a reliable glazing company to carry out the replacement work to a high standard.

I am so glad we found 'Apex Glazing'. The initial consultation meeting was very friendly but at the same time informative. Sunny clearly explained the differences between UPVC and Aluminium windows and pros and cons of each. This really helped us decide our final choice.

Once the order was placed, we were given clear timelines in when the installation work would start. There was a slight delay but this was well managed by the project team.

The installation team took great care protecting our existing flooring when removing and installing new windows. We are very pleased with all the latest features our new windows have - vents and ease of cleaning.

The bi-fold patio door is a major highlight. It is so easy to open and close and moves so smoothly. I highly recommend this.
