Finally received an email saying that my DNA results were ready but, after following the provided link, found myself on the start page inviting me to enrol for a DNA analysis! Rip off! £30 for nothing!

Seem to be frequent requests for Passwords and user codes. Also frequent sales pitches for more.

I cannot access the various sites within the email to answer questions I have because I keep getting a message saying "We can’t log you in because of an authentication error." I can see the regions, but cannot review any further than that, there is nothing wrong with my computer, can you assist?
I appreciate how Ancestry kept me informed of the progress of its process, and providing the results in a timely manner.
I have the family trees of both my parents' ancestors, dating back to 400 years for 2 and 600 years for 2. These records confirm the results you provided for most of my DNA being English/Irish/Scots. However, I took the test because the DNA of very few people from Great Britain would have such high DNA markers of only these places, which is what you say my results indicate, especially given the thousand-year history of the Romans, Saxons, Vikings, Normans dropping by Great Britain for more than a cup of tea. From my own research, the DNA of a great number of English/Irish/Scots would include a fair amount of DNA markers from a thousand years of settling in Great Britain by people from these other countries, and it was to solve that mystery that goes back before record-keeping that I took the test. I wanted to know where my ancestors were from further back than 500 years, I find it difficult to believe there is almost nothing besides "English/Irish/Scots", especially considering the more geographically expanded results of other family members and friends who have done the Ancestry DNA tests. DNA does not lie, so perhaps my ancestors simply never met a Roman, Saxon, Viking, Norman they found to their liking, yet I find this difficult to believe, and perhaps why the analysis of my DNA was not as thorough as I expected, given Ancestry's reputation. Hence my confusion and, I admit, disappointment.
If someone could explain, and if someone could re-send the result email so I can try to access more information, I'd be grateful.

I find the website interface to be not the most user-friendly. For example, a document popped up showing what my grandfather did during WWI. I had a quick read, but the next day, try as I might, I was unable to find it in the system. The same thing just the other day, when an ancient photo of my dad with a group of university buddies popped up, I was unsure of how to find it again.

Disappointed. It's very generalized. Too vague. It seems everything is about more money, more money for this or that. Constantly trying to upsale. Rather ruins the experience.

I sent my sample in during late January. As soon as it was received by the lab I started to get regular emails about buying services I wasn't ready to use, as I didn't have my results yet. Every week it seemed was some limited time offer, like 3 months of World Deluxe for $20. Great. Please offer me that once I get my results.

Today I'm posting this review because I just received an email from Ancestry asking me to leave a review and rating. So this is it. But since I don't have my results yet I can't give it more than a 2 star rating.

Great platform, intuitive, and shows a lot of insights about your ancestry. Highly recommended!

Overall, extremely underwhelming I submitted my sample around Christmas time and just received it mid March. The turnaround time is pretty brutal. Also, they pushed way too many emails trying to get you to subscribe to their services overall I would not recommend this.

Very little ancestry information for the money spent honestly. I'm getting bombarded with ancestry ads to sign up and pay for more information . Wasn't expecting this and it seems to be an unreasonable amount of gouging .

I. know for a fact that some of my ancestors come from France. From the city of Blois. there are still some people there that have my family name. In the results this Ancestry there where no mention of this at all. Im very disappointed. It makes me wonder about the rest of their (your) findings

Its not what I expected actually I feel disappointed because I wanted to know my paternity status and the Dna matches are not accurate, some names I know are closely related were showing 1% match.

Experience was awesome. Results received on time as stated.
I did this 10 years ago. Decided to do it again because some features have been added.

Les résultats sont très basiques et décevants. De plus, cela ne correspond pas vraiment à la recherche généalogique très fouillée, effectuée par mon père sur des siècles.
Ni le prix, ni la longue attente ne sont justifiés selon moi.

This company is a big-time scammer. Most of the information they provide is wrong. At the beginning of January I sent back a kit to learn more about my background. At the same time, I took a real DNA test with another company.

I actually received the results from the other DNA test much faster than from Ancestry. The results were also very different.

In my opinion, Ancestry is not reliable. Please friends, don’t waste your money on their services!

De plus,Je ne comprends pas comment il peut y avoir un ADN spécifique au Québec.,alors que les origines sont françaises . Étonnant .
