My son wanted to take the ACT early. And Testive helped him get great scores his first exam (Oct of junior year) and his second exam (summer before senior year). Scored 32, then 33 (and 34 superscore). Corey was an amazing tutor. My son looked forward to their sessions. And Corey was very in tune with Benjamin's needs and they rocked it when seeing the right time to switch to taking a practice exam every week and one 60 min session instead of two 30 min sessions. And Sabrina was great in customer service. And I looked forward to my emails with her because always very helpful.

My testive coach was Alex Leopold and I used his expertise to prep for 2 SATs. From my first practice test to my final score I improved by over 150 points. I attribute my progress to Alex's coaching techniques that made me feel comfortable to learn and motivated to do better & the testive schedule. He understood my strengths and weaknesses and tailored his coaching to what was needed at the time. It was a consistently productive experience for me and I would recommend Alex and the Testive program to anyone.

All 3 of my kids used A-List for their SAT and ACT prep. A-List exceeded our expectations with all 3. We can’t recommend them enough. My 3rd child gained 3 points on his ACT exam after only 12 sessions. He taught him the material, but more importantly the tutor helped him gain the confidence he needed to ace the exam! A list is the best! They brought me past my goal! At first, I was a naive test taker who couldn’t find my rhythm. After just a couple months with A list, though, I became a machine.

The person who helped me with my essays was Kate Manire. She was absolutely amazing! She was very consistent and clear with her edits. She also got back to me very quickly and I was able to make the most out of my time with her. She was always concise and helpful and made it so that I didn’t have to change my essays completely, just enhance them.

Absolutely amazing. Made everything about the LSAT much more digestible and fun. Understood strengths and weaknesses and really tailored plan to what I needed most.

Scott is a first-class tutor. He is excellent at teaching difficult concepts, extremely motivating, and he lays out a clear plan to achieve what we want. He also has a keen eye for pinpointing where we need to work more and he keeps us on track. I can't believe I'm saying this, but he made the GMAT fun!

Working with Scott on learning the ins and outs of the LSAT was an incredibly enjoyable experience. He doesn’t just teach merely to score points but to truly understand the concepts addressed on the test, which will be a major help when I’m a 1L, with regular discussions about the intricacies of each type of question and the most effective ways to solve problems. When I started studying independently, I was consistently scoring around the 50th percentile (~151) on my practice tests. Still, after regularly working with Scott, he brought me up to the 95th percentile (~167-168) in my practice, and I ultimately scored in the 90th on test day (164). That kind of drastic improvement was inconceivable to me at the start of this process, and without Scott’s help, I surely wouldn’t have gotten there.

We have used John Oh at A list twice and his guidance has been beyond measure. John helped both my sons achieve their highest score potential. He established a strong rapport with our kids and instilled in them a high level of confidence. Prior to each test we joked that if they come across a tricky question just think WWJD- What would John do and they’ll be fine!
We are grateful to have another child so we can continue to use John and A list.

The SAT tutor Charlotte McKechnie is the best teacher I have ever met. She is encouraging, inspiring and professional. Her strong logic in reading convinced me to follow her schedule plan. Furthermore , her explanation to each of my wrong question greatly inspired me to the slight differences of the answers. Her patience and words rewards to my little progress encouraged me keep working constantly. I highly recommend her as your SAT tutor .

3 for 3!!! I had three very different children all wanting to get into the very competitive NYU. Well, all three were accepted and to very competitive programs at NYU (Stern Business School, Clive Davis School of Music and School of Psychology).

Scott Farber was exceptional at helping each child prepare their essay. It was beautiful to watch how Scott helped each child “find their voice” and claim their identity to the world. My children grew in confidence and self realization through the essay process. Very meaningful for each of them and for me as their father.

Each also scored in the 30s on their ACT. The test prep helped them score better but I also think it made them better learners and prepared them for college.

I give A list an A+++!

I have worked with A-list for almost 2 years now and I could not be happier. I met with Scott for college applications and Dasha for ACT tutoring. Both were extremely hands on, supportive, and encouraging. My score improved drastically while working with Dasha. Scott took the anxiety out of the college application process. Could not be happier with my choice!!

Natasha did a phenomenal job helping me create a strong and well-diversified college list, as well as prepare for my college interviews. She had extensive knowledge of an array of different colleges and her data and careful analysis aided me in my efforts to orient myself towards schools that best suited me. Thanks to Natasha's experience with the college application process and commitment to helping me, I was accepted early decision to my top choice and felt confident throughout the entire process.

Natasha helped our son figure out which colleges to apply to. His school was helpful, but Natasha added a level of nuance and insight we didn't receive before. And it made a difference. Her data revealed that one of his top choice schools gave unusual weight to early decision applications. Knowing this helped him narrow his list, and encouraged him to apply early. He was accepted, and we're done with this vexing process. Thanks to A-List Education.

Having Brooke as my tutor was very beneficial!! I would not have been able to raise my ACT score so much without her. She would always help me even if I didn't understand a problem after the first explanation, and was always generous with changing around bookings.

Great company for ACT and SAT preparation and more! Brooke Bourgeois was amazing at preparing our daughter for her ACT exams! Her patience, kind approach and persistency were exceptional so we ended up hiring her for homework math help for our son as well. Highly recommend

I genuinely don’t know where to start. Throughout my life - going to competitive private day schools in London - I have had my fair share of tutors. None, however, have been quite as incredible as Rhianna Shaw from A List (and to be frank, incredible is quite the understatement). The best way I can put it is that Rhianna has been more than a tutor: perhaps even a friend. A friend in the way she always wants the best for her students, always pushing me, and always making me die of laughter as we go through a new topic in the course. She works with her students, not with the parent - quite the opposite of many of my previous tutors and makes perfect sense as the student is the one who has to put up with her.

I have a lot of friends who have different tutors for each subject, and I laugh at them. “I bet you don’t have a tutor who does most GCSE subjects, the majority of my A-level subjects, SAT practice, and university essays” I say. I do not think you will be able to find a more qualified, more versatile individual, who offers world class ‘help’. I never dread a session with Rhianna, and I always come out feeling more driven than before.

Context time! Rhianna helped me achieve grades I would have told you to be bullshirt if you asked me three years ago (eight 9 grades, two 8 grades, and the highest grade in advanced maths all at GCSE); at A-level I was able to achieve 3 A* predictions in Physics, Maths, and Design&Technology.

I don’t know how to make it more clear. The grades kind of do speak for themselves, but so does my motivation. If you don’t chose A-list (more specifically, Rhianna), I can tell you a thousand others who will.

My daughter Jess had a tutor through another tutoring service they were cheaper, but we found that saying true, you get what you pay for. Nick got her score from a 30 to a 34. She received a 35 on english and math. The materials that they use are A plus. He is an exceptional tutor and brought out her absolute true potential

My daughter has had a super experience with A-list. Her tutor is a wonderful mix of advisor, teacher and friend who manages to bring out the best of her abilities. I love his professionalism and his interest in my daughter's well being. He is a gem - extremely intelligent and has that special gift to teach.

A-List did a fantastic job and helped my nephew get a 1500 on the SAT. His tutor was a real expert and always encouraging and kind. We loved their materials and SAT analytics. The office team was always available to answer questions. Overall, we couldn't have asked for more!
