I pressed the # key and you STILL send me a survey! £127 extra on top of £269. RIP off compared to prices on 3 different comparison sites that ranged from £262 to £347. You’re charging nearly £400 just because I’ve switched car. An absolute JOKE.

When a vehicle is changed, the premium is recalculated based on the risk associated with the new car and our current underwriting criteria. While we always aim to be competitive, it isn’t possible for any insurer to offer the best price for every vehicle on the market. Insurers assess risk differently, which is why prices can vary between providers and comparison sites.
We understand it’s disappointing to see an increase, particularly when alternative quotes are available elsewhere, and we’re sorry that on this occasion we weren’t able to meet your expectations for your new car.

I HAVE JUST DEALT OVER THE PHONE WITH AGEAS WITH A GUY CALLED NICK JUST TO CONFIRM EVERYTHING WAS IN PLACE WITH MY UP-AND-COMING CAR INSURANCE POLICY AND HE WAS SO HELPFUL REASSURING AND JUST A VERY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE AND WE JUST PUT A FEW MORE THINGS IN PLACE FOR THE MOMENT I CAN GIVE THEM 10 OUT OF 10. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TO USE THEM OR CONSULT THEM AT LEAST OR DO A SEARCH ON WHAT THEY CAN OFFER YOU PREMIUM WISE ON YOUR CAR INSURANCE.

I was charged £20 for them setting up the plan when l had done this on line myself and you are made aware of this when you finally receive documentation after you have paid the required amount

We’re sorry to hear you were disappointed with the setup fee following your cancellation.
The setup fee is not linked to entering details online, but to the wider costs involved in setting up a policy. This includes maintaining our pricing systems, issuing policy documents, and updating the relevant databases required to put cover in place. These processes are the same regardless of whether a policy is taken out online or over the phone.
This fee is charged at the point of purchase and is non‑refundable, even if the policy is cancelled within the 14‑day cooling‑off period. This is detailed at the time of purchase and within the policy documentation.
We appreciate that no one likes additional fees, but we do aim to be transparent about any charges before cover is taken out.
