Excellent service from Adam’s, Cook and Pearce. I had a tumbler dryer delivered last Friday. I received a call 15 mins beforehand and both delivery men were courteous, well informed and very helpful. Ollie was an absolute star in agreeing to not only take away my old dryer, but also a redundant washing machine, as he had space in the van! This is what I call going above and beyond; rarely seen in today’s business world. Full marks to this company; may you continue to deliver excellent service to all your future customers!

Staff in the shop are very helpful, and not at all pushy and 'desperate to get a sale' like some other businesses I could name.

Range of products available to see is good, as is the knowledge the staff have about them.

Prices are not excessive, and compared to some on-line retailers we checked out, once you factor delivery/installation/removal of old appliance costs in, Adams Cooke & Pearce were very competitive.

Delivery was very fast. In shop Saturday Late Morning, delivered Monday. Old appliance removed without any fuss at all, considering it was a large American Style Fridge Freezer.

This was the second time we have used them in recent months, first was for a built-in Dishwasher (excellent service, but I never got around to completing a review) and this time a replacement Fridge Freezer. Would certainly use them again, and recommend them.

The only minor criticism is from Lilith (our Cat!). She was most disappointed that they took away the massive box the Fridge Freezer came in. :0)

Seven years since my 5* review and just update to say they are still the best electrical store for many a mile! I've purchased a number of items from them and it doesn't matter if it's a £20 kettle, or a much bigger purchase, you get the impression they really value your custom.

My oven stopped working fused all the lights and diedon the Sunday 22nd December. 23rd December I rang the shop.
Jon was so helpful on Christmas Eve before midday I had a new Bosh Oven .The installers were wonderful too.

Required a new cooker and fridge so visited Adams Cook @ Pearce. As usual service and advice was excellent and within 15 minutes had found my new cooker and fridge at an excellent price, arranged deliver with items then being delivered as arranged.Great service throughout!

Ordered a washing machine, delivered and removed old machine with a couple of days. Cannot rate highly enough for excellent customer service. Everyone involved were polite and helpful.

Supplied and fitted our new washing machine and went the extra mile to make sure everything fitted perfectly.

The ladies in the store were very helpful and knowledgeable about their products and took the time to check price matching, to help bring down the overall cost.

The delivery guys turned up within their time slot. They were well presented in clean uniform and were also friendly and helpful.

UPDATE
Installed the washer and ran the drum clean cycle as requested in the handbook. About 45 minutes later my partner checked on the machine to find the right side of the machine was now the shape of the drum.

Contacted Adams, Cook and Pearce, explained the issue to a young man on the phone. He asked us of we had removed all of the transport bolts. Which we had! Spoke next to the owner, who eventually agreed to collect the washer that morning, but he couldn't supply a replacement until Monday 21st we were then in a position of alot of washing and no machine for at least four days.

I found another machine on a well known site, which would deliver on the next day at a cost of £35.

I contacted the store and asked if they would pay the delivery charge as compensation for the unnecessary hassle, as the machine they had supplied wasn't fit for purpose. He replied that he couldn't just give money away, he had a business to run. ONE LOST CUSTOMER, for the price of what a kettle!

SUMMARY
Great sales team who do their work above and beyond. The after sales is non-existent.

First class service, ordered over the phone and delivery on the same day.
