I ordered and pre-paid Actavo for supply and installation of a Zappi untethered EV charger at my home. The technician brought the wrong product with him and tried to persuade me to have it installed instead of what I ordered. He eventually went back to the Store and got the correct product. Following installation, he couldn't get the EV charger to work and told me that it is defective. He also disconnected my Eddi water heater/solar panel installation and failed to reconnect it. He told me that I now have to deal directly with Zappi to get a replacement EV charger under warranty. I have requested that Actavo send a technician to my house to restore my solar panel connection and that they provide me with a working EV charger as per my contract with them. So far, I have been unable to get to speak to anyone in Actavo who can deal with my issue. At this stage, I regret having used Actavo for supply and installation of my EV charger. It has been a very unsatisfactory experience. They have messed up my solar panel installation and left me with a defective EV charger attached to the wall of my house with no indication as to when the matter will be resolved and have left me to deal with a third party company.

I received a Car Charger installation by Actavo and although it wasnt a straightforward job, it was completed in the same day and exactly how i wanted. The electricians amanger also visited to see how the electrican was getting on. very impressed with the smooth service.

Hassle free from start to finish. Everyone I dealt with at Actavo was very professional. They dealt with any queries I had, and were proficient in every aspect of the process. I think the personal touch is what I liked most about this company. I would definitely recommend not only for the reasons mentioned above but also for their competitive pricing.

Wireless broadband stopped working late Sunday evening.contacted them Monday morning.reply I got was we be out in a week's time to have a look.Got missed called today.rang back.oh we had a engineer in the area who could of called but seeing as you never answered the phone.i was actually driving I might add.we still won't be out to you for over a week.Engineers very busy apparently.well it certainly isn't attending to existing customers needs.what this engineer is actually going to do when he eventually arrives iv no idea as everything is Wireless and my equipment wasnt moved or interfered with in any way.

A very poor experience using Actavo HomeCharge. At the start of the process the customer representative with the HomeCharge team did not get a technician to come to our house prior to install and instead asked for photos and videos of the property to be sent on which we did. I was assured that this would be sufficient for the installation. I had to pay the full amount upfront and there was no option not to do so. The technician arrived and told us that the charger could not be fitted at our property without electrical work being carried out. The technician himself advised us that this would have been avoided with a pre-installation check but that due to the company policy of not carrying out a pre-installation inspection that this issue was happening frequently. We carried out the electrical works as needed (which took months and significant cost) and were rescheduled for installation. On one occasion we were booked in for installation between 2-4pm and we had no electricity on the day. I contacted the technician out of courtesy to advise there was no electricity and was told to inform him when it had returned. The electricity returned at 3pm. When I contacted the technician to advise that the electricity was back he told me it was too late to call to install the charger. When I called the customer representative to arrange a new date he assured me the installation team would be in touch but we heard nothing from them. I had to call again to rearrange the date. In fairness when the technician did finally arrive, he was very pleasant and carried out the installation professionally. I feel that there is a disconnect between the customer service team and installation team that led to significant delay in installation in our case.

Actavo needs to take ownership over selling products to the public.
My wallbox stopped working after six months actavo said I need to contact wallbox and for actavo to send out service it would be 250 euros. I got in contact with wallbox and were not able to resolve they did put it back with installation company actavo did send out service but couldn't fix it he came out with no parts and did tests.
I have been in contact with actavo and I keep getting the same answer that they are in contact with wallbox. I have numerous emails and phone calls to support everything I am saying. Why cannot actavo replace the wallbox and charge wallbox.
I did say that my contract is with actavo and not wallbox. It costs me more money to change car at public station than at home

Suggest avoiding using this Company for any domestic installations if you plan to get a SEAI grant. I am waiting over 2 months for them to lodge documents with SEAI after paying them in full for my installation in Dec 23 to enable me to draw down my grant of €2400. Actavo blame the SEAI and the SEAI blame them for these delays which are nothing to do with me apart from preventing me getting my grant. I now will have to resort to go to the Small Claims Court to force them to submit the install documents with SEAI - NIGHTMARE !! so advise you avoid them as there are numerous reputable installers out there apart from Actavo!

I had a Zappi EV charger installed by Actavo Homecharge a few weeks ago. The whole experience was really easy start to finish, including all the documentation and support required to complete the SEAI grant application. Martin the installer arrived on time, agreed the best location for the charger and completed a really tidy install, giving a clear demonstration of all the features with the charger, including the app. Top class service.

Had two people come onto my property today to apparently install broadband cable. Firstly they never knocked to say who or what they were doing. I later found out when I went out to them & I asked what they were doing. As I hadn’t ordered anyone to come out & do any sort of work. They gave the name of the customer & my address but it wasn’t me. They did apologise & leave. However out of the blue I now have a fault on my phone line that wasn’t there this morning before these guys turned up. And now have to wait for a technician from my phone company I deal with to sort it. I work from home & need my phone line. And now have an issue through no fault of mine. Very unprofessional & a waste of my time.

Got my solar panels and couldn't be happier with them. Work was done on the day given very little disruption and they cleaned up after them. Dave came to the house answered all my questions and talked me through the whole process. He always answered his phone or got back to me very quickly on any queries. Have been off the grid many times now, even though its winter. Am very glad I took the plunge and got them

This Company entered my place of business without any prior notice or permission. Did not sign the signing in book, did not fill a contractors form, fitted a smart meter without my permission. Left no instructions, no last meter readings and no paper work what so ever. Scottish power informed me that they did not sanction this visit.

Unfortunately the job ran over time which required us to be at home longer than planned.

I had Solar Panels installed by Actavo Home Charge. Dave was excellent to deal with, he explained everything to me before and after the installation. The lads were excellent, very professional and also very easy to speak with. The sale and after sales service is also superb. They follow up on evveything.
If you are looking to have solar panels fitted, I can highly reccomend Actavo.

The initial meeting & survey of my house was carried out at the arranged time and I was then given a date for the installation of the Solar panels. The roof installers & electrician arrived on the agreed day and my Solar panels were up and running in 2 days. I found Actavo Home Charge a very efficient and professional company to deal with & I would highly recommend them.
