An amazing service, friendly and understanding and so quick to get everything set up. They helped make the financial enormity more manageable, even increasing the support available with ‘the same sum’. And they did it in a way that was so caring of the hopes behind it all. Thanks so much.

Don't get your hopes up
1. I am 32 years old, absolutely no health issues of any sort, no medical history to be of concern. My only - and I mean ONLY - problem was low AMH. I've had one cycle on the NHS where we got all the way to day 5 blastocyst which was transferred and unfortunately didn't result in pregnancy but to get that far is a sign that it can be achieved. I was rejected for every single refund program entirely two working days after consenting to a medical review. You have to be practically perfect to be accepted on to the program which defeats the point of needing IVF funding. I am sharing that information so other applicants can see this and wont get their hopes up and sucked into possibility of being accepted onto a refund program. Its not possible if you're not perfect. You wont get accepted onto a program unless Access Fertility think they will win financially.
2. Bedside manner is awful. Infertility is a really upsetting thing to go through and the conversation I had with them about my rejection onto the refund programs was completely apathetic. Be clear about this, Access Fertility do not care about you at all to the point where they wont even make the effort to use some bedside manner. Don't expect any gentleness or compassion.

The medical review for our Refund Programmes is based on medical data provided by the clinic. We review every patient on a case by case basis and we have a dedicated medical team that will always look at a combination of factors before making a decision.
Around 80% to 90% of patients are eligible for a Refund programme but unfortunately we are unable to accept all patients onto our programmes. We strive to be transparent in our email correspondence and literature to advise that there is a possibility that patients may not be accepted onto the programme of their choice. We aim to relay the outcome in a compassionate manner as we know that IVF in itself can be a stressful experience. We are sorry to hear that you feel this did not reflect in your experience.
We hold regular training sessions for our team to improve our processes and ensure that we maintain the highest possible standards for our patients. Patient experience is important to us and we take all feedback from our patients very seriously.
If not accepted onto a Refund Programme, patients will be able to use our Multi-Cycle Programme. This does not require a medical review and provides a significant discount as opposed to paying the clinic directly for multiple cycles.
