This is exactly the info I've been searching for. I struggled to translate business research to academic research.. The course is very articulate, well organized and has had a real impact on my writing structure. as I attempt to make the transition from business to academic research. Great Work!

I joined AEN at the end of 2021, and at that time, I was lost in my thesis writing! The results were ready, but I could not start writing since I was thinking, "I am a bad writer." This program provided the needed writing support that helped me start and finish my thesis. I struggled to be clear in my writing, and the coaches' support made all the difference. Although I took a course in grad school on how to write, it was not detailed or structured. This program is very structured and covers the PhD journey from the start to the end, like finding your research gap to preparing for your PhD defense. It is a 6-week program with 5-6 lectures each week, giving you all the support you need during your PhD. Also, the ongoing feedback and support from live coaches (thanks to Marek and Lynn) helped me keep up the writing habit, even when my advisor was too busy. I have finished writing my thesis, a research article, and a review article. I definitely recommend the program since it is a PhD saver.

I was totally lost in my PhD journey! I'm so grateful for their support. I had just passed my qualifying exam and I was struggling with putting together my dissertation proposal. This program provided the very needed structured support that helped me to make progress. The videos on 'How' to write for academic research are AMAZING. Yes, I took a course in grad school on how to write, but it was not as detailed or structured as this material. The ongoing feedback and support from live coaches really helped me to keep up the habit of writing, even when my advisor was too busy...I never felt like I was stuck waiting and waiting for feedback. I also like the weekly opportunities to talk through my thought process with other PhD scholars who are not experts in my field. I was really struggling to be clear in my writing and the support from this group made all the difference. Now, I'm focused on finishing the dissertation, presenting at conferences, and attending invited keynotes using the skills from this program.

It is a late review. I joined in 2021 and finished my PhD dissertation in 2022. Due to COVID-19, I received my degree from the Philippines in 2023. I have more great news later. In 2024, I received my offer as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the U.S. and am publishing my PhD dissertation as a book. :-) I am thankful for all the support from Academic English Now. I feel more confident after joining the program and learning from Marek's course videos. The course is excellent, very organized, and advanced. Going to the coaching videos and connecting with other scholars is also wonderful.

I am a PhD student, and I have joined the program two years before. It was a lifesaving for me as I had problems organising my thesis. I benefit from the material in the course and from the valuable feedback from my lovely coach Margarita. She helped me draw a map to finish my thesis and her feedback helped me a lot to improve my writing scientifically. My supervisors also noticed a big change in my writing and progress after joining the program. I highly recommend it, it kept me motivated to work because of the endless support and help.

I am incredibly grateful for the insightful and precise feedback provided by my reviewer, whose remarkable expertise and dedication have significantly improved my work. Her comments were consistently on point, highlighting critical areas for improvement while also recognizing the strengths in my writing. Thanks to her invaluable guidance, I was able to refine my dissertation proposal to meet the highest standards, ultimately leading to its approval. Her constructive critiques not only enhanced the quality of my research but also deepened my understanding of the subject matter. I am now excited to move on to the next part of my dissertation, feeling confident and well-prepared thanks to her exceptional support.

I am excited to share that my writing is going very well, with 5 papers under review, including two in a Q1 journal. I recently received positive feedback from the reviewers for one of these articles at the Q1 journal.

This past week, I presented my first PhD paper at the 51st Surgical Research Society of Southern Africa (SRS SA) meeting and won the prize for the best research. I will present this research at the SRS (UK) meeting in Cambridge in January 2025.

Thank you for your continued support!

The community at Academic English Now is really nice, and the course go straight to the point which I love, the biggest value for me was having the insightful comments from the team of reviewers it was nice having that one-on-one support of having a second pair of eyes on my article drafts and learning how to perfect Journal publishing in a practical way, I totally recommend academic English for anyone who wants to save time, speed up their progress and learn in a practical way.

Academic English provides solid advice on the PhD process and designs various templates quite useful for using in your own structure. Text revisions are extremely helpful. Thanks from my end.

Marek and his team have provided feedback on my text, significantly speeding up my writing process. What I truly appreciate is their ability to listen to all my concerns, celebrate my successes, and guide me throughout the PhD journey. Their support has demystified the academic writing process for me. For anyone seeking honest and valuable feedback on their writing, this service is indispensable.

I stumbled on finding the gap in the literature review by Marek on You Tube. I was impressed with the way he approached the discussion and outlined the steps to follow. I watched other videos and found them all really helpful. I decided to join the programme to improve on my academic writing skills and gain more insights as a researcher. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Marek and Khalilah. Their feedback was invaluable and I am pleased my thesis was approved. I have no hesitation in recommending Academic English Now to researchers and PhD students who want to make an impact. Be assured value for money is guaranteed. Marek and team keep up the good work.

I have been a part of this program since I started graduate school (2020-) in the hard sciences. Marek and his team have been instrumental in my growth, development, and experience as a health space scientist. Despite the barriers of our fields, the AEN team (Marek, Hayden, Margarita et al.) have transcended time zones and geographic conditions to impart their knowledge on my work, making it suitable for submission to journals and ultimately for my PhD.

Often, the feedback I received from other experts in my field mirrored the feedback Marek provided, showcasing his clairvoyance, expertise, and professionalism. This program has given me the confidence and knowledge to pursue my academic ambitions and dreams.

As a student who struggled to get feedback from my group due to their time constraints or capacity, this program filled the gaps, helping me push through to the finish line and exceed my requirements. This program truly made a difference in my academic journey.

I also believe that even if I had optimal access to feedback and time from others, I would still have missed out on the community, insights, and skills I acquired from AEN. I highly recommend this program to other students in similar positions and future pioneers in the field. This program is the truth!

Review of Marek short course
I watched their first video on their Mission, Vision and Principles, and I found it interesting because I could Identify my weaknesses as a researcher, and I got very valuable clues on how to overcome my weaknesses!

I am delighted to share my experience and the positive impact that the Academic English Now (AEN) program has had on my doctoral endeavour. Enrolling in 2023 marked a pivotal moment along this journey, as it provided me with the necessary framework and assistance to navigate the intricacies of academic writing. It was, without exaggeration, a tremendous godsend.

The weekly sessions have served as a vital support system, offering me counsel and aid whenever I've encountered challenges. Additionally, the mentorship provided by my coach has proven to be immeasurable. Her insights and encouragement have consistently propelled me forward on my academic path.

The AEN community has truly been a blessing for me, and I am profoundly thankful to Marek Kiczkowiak and the entire team for crafting such an exceptional platform. Their authentic dedication to empowering researchers and students radiates through every facet of the program. I only wish I had discovered them sooner.

Since joining Academic English Now in 2019, I've found the perfect place to hone my skills for writing academic papers, my master's thesis, and doctoral applications. The program has significantly helped me improve my academic writing and has been instrumental in my ongoing academic journey. I've had a great experience so far and highly recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their academic writing abilities.
