I sought help on how to return a fixture that did not work out for me, the help desk said it would get back to me and has not, this is really poor customer relations. The Lamps Plus responds right away as clearly not all fixtures will work out, they sent the fedex returns immediately to facilitate the process. Suggest not to order from this company unless you want to be stuck with unwanted merchandise.

If I could give NO Stars I would! First of all, the item looked nothing like it did on the website. To return these unused items I had to pay HALF OF THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE!!! That is outrageous. I would never use your company again when there are so many other reputable companies with great return policies… which I have used. I will return to those companies.

Beware of small print. Return policies not clear and upfront.
I ordered two fans and accessories from 1stoplighting. One fan was fine for the space but I did not need the hugger kit I ordered it in case I needed it so it would be here when the electrician installed it. They will not pay for the return. I could cost me more to ship than the cost of the item!
The other fan ended up being too large for the room. I also needed a downrod that I ordered. They will NOT accept return of the downrod or any accessories! I have to pay to return the fan and it is very heavy!
Apparently some of the manufacturers they represent and sell will cover returns and others do not.
READ THE SMALL PRINT AND BEWARE. I am not happy about this and I will NOT be purchasing any other items from this company again.

Do Not Buy from 1stoplighting
Do Not Buy from 1stoplighting. 1stoplighting has the best prices for a reason - they sell 2nd quality/refurbished fans. They advertise them as new, but they're actually defective.
I spent $700 on a Minka fan, which was defective - that's not my opinion, that's the professional opinion of Minka's technicians after seeing the video of the fan motor operating without the blades. It was a brand new fan - less than 24 hours.
Minka told me to call 1stoplighting to get a replacement, but this was my 2nd of 2 Minka fans to be defective, so I wasn't thrilled about the idea of getting yet another fan that would take two hours to install (longer because I have 18' ceilings and it requires setting up and taking down ladders and scaffolding, and lots of trips up and down said ladders/scaffolding).
Instead of making it easy on me they made it as difficult as possible - promises of returned phone calls that never came, telling me that the replacement fan would be checked, but then telling me that it wouldn't be checked . . . telling me I wouldn't have to disassemble the fan and repack it up to send back to Minka, but then telling me that Minka *might* want it back. . . . basically lie . . after lie . . . after lie . . . after lie . . .
The specific liars were Annalynne (and her boss), and Gerard Gonzalez.
So, if you value your time AT ALL, do not buy from 1stoplighting. Buy from a reputable dealer who doesn't sell 2nd quality/refurbished fans (or, even, regrettably from Home Depot or Lowes . . . they usually can order the same product, and won't screw you if the fan they sell happens to be defective).

Be careful when ordering an "accessory" from 1Stop
The tech rep for Minka provided us with the incorrect part number to repair our ceiling fan. 1Stop fulfilled our online order based on the incorrect part number. Upon receipt we dismantled the fan and determined the part was not correct. (Not 1Stop's fault) After consulting with Minka we were given the correct part number and contacted 1Stop to return/exchange for the correct part.
NO GO - why you ask? 1Stop classified this part as an "accessory" and therefor not returnable. In reality without this electronic Motor Receiver the fan cannot function. I'd hardly call that an "accessory".
'Simply a lousy way to do business.

This is really a garbage company
This is really a garbage company, poor customer service, poor communication, delivered my item in a damaged box and it's already scratched. They don't want even to help in taking care of this issue, the call agent is so rude and disrespectful. Please stay away from this website. I will never buy from it again in my life period

I ordered two sets of these heaters…
I ordered two sets of these heaters from 1 Stop Lighting via Amazon. I placed an order for the black fascia heaters but they sent the stainless steel heaters. To top it off, one of the heaters didn't work AT ALL! When I complained to Amazon, they told me the correct orders were sent to 1 Stop Lighting and I should call them directly. When I spoke to 1 Stop Lighting, they told me that they would not take back the SS heaters and send the black heaters I ordered. 1 Stop Lighting blatantly refused to take back the defective heater, stating I needed to work with their technical team to repair a BRAND NEW HEATER! I am currently out my original purchase price of the four heaters plus an additional $500 to return the heaters. 1 Stop Lighting's mantra states customer service is their number one priority. CLEARLY IT IS NOT! I'm currently disputing these charges with my credit card company.

Stay away from them!
I bought 4 light fixtures from Goldenlightinglights.com, which is the subdevision of 1stoplighting.com.
It took forever for my order to be delivered. When it finally arrived, I found out that one box with a light fixture was missing. They were supposed to send four boxes, but it looks like they can only count to three. The order was delivered when nobody was home since their carrier can do deliveries only during business hours, so I've never signed the delivery. I called them and emailed them for several weeks now. All they can tell me is that they are doing an investigation. On top of that, they refused to process a refund for the missing item while they "are doing investigation". I sent them screenshots from my outside cameras clearly showing that only three out of four boxes have been delivered. Nevertheless, after completing their "investigation," they told me that the delivery was signed off and all four boxes were delivered. Unbelievable!!!
Horrible customer service, horrible experience. Their prices are just a little bit cheaper than at other stores, but at the end of the day you'll save more money and your precious time if you buy from somewhere else. Stay away from them!

Problem processing a return
I purchased some pendant lighting from their web site. The photos did not do an adequate job of displaying the hanging chord which looked like an extension cord when I unpacked it. After requesting a return, I was sent an email with a link for return labels. When I couldn’t get to the labels, I contacted customer service and was told I would have to pay the shipping to get my return processed. The return shipping cost me $130. I should have been told this before I ever ordered. I would not shop with them again.

Buyer beware
Buyer beware, they do not offer free returns as advertised on their site, even when the product is defective. Customer service agent rude and condescending and of course, no supervisor working to approve free return shipping, so I had to pay $31.66 for return shipping. After a great deal of difficulty they agreed to create a ticket and get back to me about my request for free return shipping. We shall see. If they do approve it, I will update this review. Such a cumbersome process. I wish I could give this review less than 1 star.

I HIGHLY recommend this company for your lighting needs. Their customer service is top-notch! IMHO, it is hard to purchase lights online, so I was thrilled with their return policy. Unfortunately (due to errors on my part), I had to return 2 orders. The process was painless and seamless. They also have amazing prices. Trust me, i did my research. I will definitely be back 1 stop for any future lighting needs!
