1STOPlighting sent the light fixture that I had ordered online in a timely manner. However, I couldn't use it because I couldn't get my hand in the shade to attach it to the fixture. I called and spoke to agent (John) that assisted me with the return for a refund process. He was very helpful and had it done in a minute or less. Thanks John, you are awesome! I recommend this buisness if one needs a lighting fixture.

Don’t believe their shipping promises
I ordered 3 identical items relying on their well illustrated promise of 3 day delivery.
They didn’t even ship for three days, and the package will take another week to arrive.
In addition, they only sent one of the three items ordered.
Update:
Customer service did respond.and issued a small credit (read the fine print on the guarantees splashed on the page) which I do appreciate. But time was of the essence - which is why I chose the company in the first place - so I had to purchase from another supplier.

Expected 4/17 (confirmed with their FAQ examples)
Actually shipped 4/16
Expected arrival 4/23. 9 days (7 business days) vs. 3 business. day promise.
My feedback, if you advertise fast shipping and know you won’t meet your shipping guarantee, let the customer know before shipping so they can cancel.
I’ve upgraded from 1 to 3 stars just because I did appreciate the response.

I was unable to finish the order online…
I was unable to finish the order online so I called and the customer service rep helped me finish my order and honored the price it would’ve been that I ordered it on my own. It took a while for the order to come so I also got a $10 credit back to my original form of payment. The representative was very helpful and I got my item the next day. I recommend them they are really good.
Helpful Customer Service
I was happy to be able to talk to a human being. That is such a bonus for companies in this era of Artifical Intelligence. I ordered 2 fixtures on the website and saw that they offered a $50 credit if not delivered by the 3rd day. The day I placed the order on the website, they acknowledged the order and said I would receive an email when it shipped. After 3 days, I did not get the shipping email, so called Customer Service. They were helpful to let me know the fixtures would be delivered that day (and they were). I am happy to be able to resolve issues with real human beings and not a chat bot.

Canada Lighting is my go to place
Right from the start of my dining room chandelier journey, I came across the Canada Lighting website. The website was very easy to navigate. I was delightful to read that if your order doesn’t arrive within three days of ordering, a $50.00 credit is applied to your invoice. I had used the chat bot and communicated with representatives twice, each time I found them to be helpful, very professional and friendly. When I requested a further discount I was quite happy that my request was honoured in such a timely and seamless fashion. Everyone that I came in contact with was great to deal with. A special thank you to Jhonjon, great to deal with, so pleasant, friendly and a joy to deal with. Overall my experience with Canada Lighting was 12 out of 10. Thank you all. 😁
Communication Challenges
1StopLighting has the best prices, hands down. They a have great selection of brands and price points, and I found just what I wanted on their website. Unfortunately, my light had some damage, and I needed a replacement. There is no longer any way to talk to customer service unless they call you. You must use their chat function. The chat works; it’s responsive, and you will easily get to a live agent. However, it’s very difficult to resolve complications via a chat function.

An Excellent Experience!
Ordering was easy. The lights came on the day they promised. And when I had to make a return using the chat, it was seamless. Johanna was wonderful!
Super Helpful Customer Support Johanna!
I am a lighting neophyte, just a homeowner whose electrician is absent more than present. I tried to buy lens accessories and ordered the wrong size. Trying to return it was a nightmare of non-helpful web bots, so I called CS directly.
Johanna was a super star, listening carefully and helped me tremendously. I had to email her a few more times as the bots kept informing me they had not received the return.
She remained cheerful and helpful throught the process, responding promptly to emails and reaching out to her resources to help.
1StopLighting has to be commended for hiring the right people. Their website is confusing for non-lighting professionals.

Excellent Customer Service & Beautiful Fixtures
I recently ordered lights from 1StopLighting, and I was really impressed with both the product and the service. The fixtures look amazing in my space and I was genuinely excited once they were installed.
Unfortunately, two of the domes broke during installation. I reached out to the order management team and spoke with Johanna, who was incredibly helpful. She quickly took care of the issue and arranged for replacement domes to be sent out right away.
Great customer service makes all the difference, and Johanna definitely delivered. I really appreciate the quick resolution and would happily order from 1StopLighting again.
No communication after order
Put in an order on 2/3/2026 and was told via the customer service chat on their webpage that I would receive my order in 3 business days.
2 business days have gone by and I have not received any update emails, and the order page still says "processing", so it definitely doesn't look like I'll be receiving my items by tomorrow as planned, and will have to push back my project a full week as a result.
Their customer service is unavailable after 3pm pacific time which is bizarre since they are based in California.
It would be simple for them implement more customer service oriented business practices and avoid these situations entirely. More communication is needed, especially when their website heavily markets their 3 day delivery as a key selling point for going with them over one of their competitors. It's sad to see businesses operate in this manner - over promising, under communicating, and under delivering. If my order magically shows up tomorrow, I'll edit my review, but for now, I'll have to just be honest and tell people to spend their money elsewhere.
