On initial visit I was told the company is Living Design. Even when they sent the bill it was Living Design but I now know it's Homesealed. The window fitters turned up late both days and they were self-employed contractors, not employees. From the outset it was clear they didn't care: they hacked my 110 year old tenement window frames to bits, tried to use sealant to cover up their errors instead of caulk and removed all packaging of windows outside in the pouring rain. They then dragged the soaking wet windows through the flat, scraped my wooden flooring and fitted a clear glass window pane in the bathroom. They rushed the 2nd day and I was left clearing up their mess. Apparently, there was supposed to be a labourer doing this but 'he got a better job with more pay' so I was left to do this. Within 4 hours of the fitters leaving, I was chased for payment. My decorator was appalled at the mess they left and tried to patch things up as best he could. If you want a company who treats you with disdain, these are the guys for you.
