Poor After Sales
We have recently spent several hundred pounds at the Kings Lynn branch. Customer service on purchase was quite good with helpful staff. However we were disappointed with the after sales service. Seems it’s smiles and helpfulness when you’re buying something but not so interested when you want to return something 2/3 weeks later. Customers take note. Whilst looking through my bag for the receipt the sales assistant said any unused unopened grout or adhesive cannot be returned after 7 days from purchase because they don’t know how it’s been stored. Strange how they know how it’s been stored for the first 7 days! We were advised how many bags we would need but we found we had a bag of grout and adhesive leftover. Wasn’t informed of the policy when we bought the items but was told by the sales assistant today ‘it’s up on the wall and on your receipt!’. Fortunately I can read, but obviously this passed me by, but they shouldn’t assume everyone can! In addition to this experience the tile cutter we bought for £179 for the job of laying the floor tiles was not suitable for the task intended. Can’t say we will be using them again.
