Customer Service Second to EVERYONE!!!!
Never met such a bunch of jobsworths in my life in the Berwick upon Tweed branch of this company!!
Having spent over £400 with them less that three weeks ago on a Laptop, Office and a laptop bag/mouse combo, we had to return with the bag today as the workmanship was so poor that the inner lining totally came away at the seam.
Barely 3 weeks old and the furthest the bag had travelled was from the dining room to the sitting room - 10 feet!
Armed with the receipt we went to the store with the faulty bag for replacement only to be told they couldn't do this as they needed the mouse as well!
I could understand wanting the full package returned if we wanted a refund, but only the bag was at fault, so why couldn't they just slip the mouse off one of the bags in store and give us the bag?
We were greeted with looks of total bewilderment from the staff - could the solution to the problem really be this simple? Well no, as Company policy states that the full package has to be returned.
So PC World - stuff Customer Service; stuff Customer Satisfaction, we now face another 14 mile round trip to get this matter resolved, but this time it will be for a refund, not replacement as we no longer want to deal with a company that places customer service and satisfaction so low down their pecking list of priorities
