Click and Collect only to a far away local store !

The assistant in my local Street shop said I could order anything to my local shop. When I got home I placed an order for cat biscuits and “click and collect” was not possible to my local shop, only to another store 20 miles away. So I had to pay for delivery to my home to avoid a long drive. This is not how Click and Collect works for most other retailers. So the local shop assistants should explain this clearly.

Dont let your credit build up if you are overpaying

I followed the process for claiming a refund when you have an adequate positive balance on my dual use gas and electric account. I received the refund into my account 2 working days later. Eon are good at reminding me every few months if I overpaying.

The engineer was knowledgable and…

The engineer was knowledgable and helpful. The only thing that annoyed me was there was no indication of the expected timeslot from British Gas (booked as sometime between 8am and noon), until he called me when he was 30 minutes away. British Gas are no longer pestering me to upgrade my boiler, even though it is working very efficiently and the supplier is still making spares for it, unlike they did a year ago after my previous service !! One other thing that is frustrating about British Gas is that they want you to contact them via Instagram or Facebook which I dont use. What about good old fashioned phone helplines ?

It was good to get a GP Appointment…

It was good to get a GP Appointment thru the Axa Doctor at Hand app. However the physio treatment recommended was not part of my plan so I couldnt follow it through. I will have to back to my NHS local GP if my problem reoccurs.

Dont waste time on Nectar Canvass surveys

Like many others I completed a long survey giving full textual answers based on real experience. Then at the end I gave my email and phone number so EE could contact me for followup. Then it decided that I wasnt a match for the target group. When I contacted them for an explanation there was no understanding of how frustrating this was so I am totally disincentivised to start any more of their surveys. Why cant they eliminate early in the survey like IPSOS and Y-Live do ?

Checkatrade is a good way to find…

Checkatrade is a good way to find skilled traders for small jobs. It allows traders to register interest without paying fees so you know their quotes wont be inflated. The only pain is you have to send pictures to each trader in turn instead of attaching them when creating the job.

Amazing Anfield Stadium tour

I arrived early and was welcomed and invited to join an earlier tour. The tour guides were friendly and funny and made an exciting tour even more memorable. The final pitchside and Kop visits were amazing and my camera is full of great memories. Thank you !!

Freely kept failing so I returned the TV for full refund

The main attraction of the TV was no dish and no aerial due to the new broadband supported Freely. But Freely kept failing and I got sent a memory stick with an upgrade of the software. It continued to fail so I took it back to Argos and got a full refund as it was failing in the most important function.

The technician arrived earlier than…

The technician arrived earlier than expected which was good news. He assessed the problem and fixed it without any new parts. Perfect service given that the patio door is being replaced in 3 weeks but needed to lock properly right up to its final day.

The mower was easy to put together…

The mower was easy to put together using the Youtube video. The pushstart works perfectly and the selfpropelled engine makes mowing a breeze in our new bungalow with a hilly lawn.
