I had no issues with using the card overseas for making payments where MasterCard is accepted. Another useful feature is that you can use the card at home to make online payments to companies abroad in their local currencies. The App based authentication system provides a high level of security and is essential for some overseas websites which insist on it (especially the Japanese ones). I did experience a problem with using an ATM in Vietnam on one occasion, reported it and customer service resolved the problem quickly and effectively. A must-have card if you are a frequent traveller.
