I was trying to make ZoogVPN work with Ubuntu 22. I followed their procedure for installation, and settings - but wasn't able to connect to the VPN server due to authentication issues. After trying several online suggestions (e.g., ubuntu forums and stack-exchange - installed network-manager-openvpn-gnome), I finally contacted their chat support. I was pleasantly surprised by the patience and understanding with which the tech support person helped me troubleshoot the issue step-by-step. In the end it came down to the fact that the instructions for Ubuntu were different (simpler) than their published instructions for "Linux" OS. No settings needed to be changed in the imported config file. Also, network manager needed to be restarted from systemctl as "NetworkManager", not "systemd-networkd". After about 35-40 min of back and forth, I was connected to the ZoogVPN server of my choice! I really appreciated his patient and respectful interaction throughout the chat conversation. While I have yet to use ZoogVPN regularly, I was really happy with the tech support!

I strongly advise against using Zoog VPN. The service is practically useless—major sites like Amazon, Netflix, BBC, and even banking platforms instantly detect and block access when using their servers.
On top of that, the subscription is set to auto-renew by default with no clear or timely warning. When I contacted customer service after automatic renewal of my subscription for another year to explain that I hadn’t used the service and wanted a refund, I was told it was “my fault” for missing the chance to cancel. That dismissive attitude, combined with a product that doesn’t deliver on its most basic promises, makes this a very disappointing experience.
I really don't understand who writes positive reviews for this company. My experience with their product and customer service has been frustrating.

The service claims to offer hassle-free refunds within 7 days, but that was not my experience. After being charged for an unwanted subscription, customer support refused to issue a refund even though the subscription had been cancelled. The interaction with support felt very unhelpful and not client-oriented, leaving a very negative impression. I ultimately had to involve my payment provider to get the charge refunded. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this service.

The free version works fine, when you buy a subscription it stops working, and the support disappears after receiving money.
- Connection breaks every 20-30 minutes, while the status continues to be displayed as connected. The free trial worked flawlessly for up to 8-9 hours without interruption.
- After each connection break, the Internet stops working altogether.
- It connects by default to your own country, the exclude native country function in the settings is not working, you have to select the server manually.
- Support responded immediately when wrote to them about the payment issue, but after buying a subscription, when i wrote about these problems, no one answered me(

i used free account and soon after that hackers were able to login my crypto wallet. luckily they were not able to withdraw anything and i secured my account.

i changed all my passwords, reinstalled and then updated windows. still i was getting pishing link from Microsoft store.

after connecting with Microsoft service they told that my ip address was changed by vpn and through which probably they were able to send notifications with pishing links.

Good VPN in paid version, but beware of their subscription model. The cancellation option is hidden, and support is unhelpful. I was charged for an extra month due to unclear wording during purchase. When I requested a refund, they refused and cited their terms, which might be fear if they communicate clear and don't hide the cancellation option. But in this service, the interface is built to trick you and making it hard to quit, so just be careful.

As a rule, the connections are quickly established and stable. In the event of malfunctions, the service team is quickly on the ball and solves the problem within a few minutes. The longest I had to wait so far: 2 hours. All in all - I'm satisfied.
