I used the regualr version (winwin). I think it is actually a very good software. It copied my apps, and also files documents. Thank you.
Don't be fooled by the website
Don't be fooled by the website. This product is not straight forward. It's way more difficult to use than it advertises. It promises to effortlessly connect your computers so the old one migrates to the new one. But it doesn't work. I bought the program expecting it to simply work but it hasn't. I'm now having to get diagnostics sent off to the company. Waiting on them to get back to me. It's extremely frustrating.
UPDATE: After waiting 24 hours for support, they finally got back to me and upgraded my program so I could migrate via an extrenal hard drive. I thought that was kind of them. I did this, followed all the instructions meticulously, however the program STILL doesn't work! They promise on their website that their support is with real people not a bot, well try and call them! No one answers. Send an email, they take 24 hours to get back to you. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
Great, saved hours
Bought the WinWin product and it was pretty great! Took about 4 horus to transfer over my wifi.
Note that I found it to go faster with antivirus stopped, probably because when it's on, it scans every file.
In any case great product, saved me a whole bunch of hours.

Awful customer support from the escalation team
I recommend the software for transferring files and standard software without activation codes but it doesn't work for those who need codes and their customer support is useless. I have contacted several times for an update on what I logged as an issue in 1.5 months ago. They even have a page stating they can get old copies of Autocad working (I have a standalone licence that they wrongly have illegally stopped customers using) I was escalated ages ago, then yesterday I was assured that someone would get back to me and on contacting tonight I
got ignored then cut off! Robert was most helpful in giving advice but couldn't help further and it needs escalating!
Please contact me I have been trying for 2.5 months now and I'm almost going to demand a refund.
Poor functionality and zero support
Forced to move to a new computer running Windows 11. Zinstall came with good reviews (generally) and online help (allegedly). Nothing could be further from the truth.
It took 3 attempts at overnight transfers to install about 80% of data from the old PC. Some files failed to install or corrupted and some apps failed to install.
First attempt at transfer compromised the Bluetooth software leaving me without a functioning keyboard or mouse on the new PC which took me 2 days to diagnose and resolve.
It failed to copy pst and ost files for Outlook.
I sought help and 10 days on still waiting for someone to get back to me! All I got was an automated acknowledgement saying someone would get back to me 'shortly'. No one on 'Live Chat'.
I have asked for a refund as I have had to seek professional help to resolve the issues.

I was just hoping zinstall would transfer my networking settings and office 2016
BUT it failed to do either. Took me a week to repair networking and I had to purchase office 2016 all over again, so it cost me more than its purchase price.

Worth every penny, and more. A wise man once said to me that “High quality may demand a higher price, but it’s not an expense—it’s an investment in excellence”. Understand what you are actually buying.
The company claims its product does more than the competitors product and transfers more than competitors products. I haven’t been able to verify this claim because what the company DID NOT TELL ME is that you ONLY GET 2 ACTIVATIONS. So if something goes wrong and you have to start afresh you cannot do it because you get an error MAXIMUM NUMBER OF ACTIVATIONS EXCEEDED. True to their advertising I did get to chat to a real person and not a bot. Problem is the real person only advises you to contact support unless you are buying! Contacted support and consistent with other reviews only got a “we will contact soon” message and now just waiting for help. When you buy a license to transfer from an old PC to NEW PC, it follows that at some future point you might need to repeat the process, but you cannot because the license you bought is only really a license for a single transfer. The company should be upfront and tell customers this. They also need to fix the support function because in my view its not fit for purpose.

Well worth the money!!!!! I'm forced to get a new computer because of Windows 11 not updating to my very functional Windows 10 Computer(motherboard incompatibility). Anyway, it's always a huge issue to migrate to another computer and lose programs in the process. NOT THIS TIME!!! Zinstall WINWIN was simple. The directions were clear. And my computer migrated over to the new computer with my programs and activations so they were ready to go!!! My only self install was my printer. So happy to have found this program!
Zinstall's product did not work at all
Zinstall's product did not work at all, and the support process was both unreasonable and ineffective. Their team required me to fully uninstall all cybersecurity software from both computers—something that compromises device security—before offering any help. I complied, ran their diagnostics, and was forced to manually type in a long diagnostic code because their system wouldn't allow copy-paste.
They later claimed they never received the diagnostics, despite me submitting them exactly as instructed. I requested a refund four times, and each time they responded with a deliberately obstructive process, including a manual form that forced me to agree to their terms and conditions before I could even submit the request.
They sent me a user manual that had nothing to do with the issue I reported, wasting even more of my time. The entire experience was unnecessarily difficult, and their continued refusal to refund a clearly defective product feels deceptive. In my opinion, this is a predatory and misleading business practice, and I am filing this complaint to warn others.
Not a single bit of customer support-don't buy
Purchased remote migration on 3-19-25. Tech started the migration on 3-20. After checking on status, the process errored out and nobody was monitoring. Tried caontacting via email, and phone calls with nobody answering anything. Finally got ahold of Answering service and they passed on the message to call me. Never called but sent an e-mail. The tech found the problem and was able to finish the remote install. I went thrrough verifying everything and found that I now could not get my ESET Virus/Firewall program to even come up. I even attempted to uninstall to ne able to re-install and it won't even let me do that. Have tried again with the various ways to contact them and finally ended up with their answering service on 4-10. This company has no customer support what so ever. Nobody ever responds to their message system, their e-mails or even answer their phone. If I could give them a minus one rating I would because they were fast enough to charge my credit card when I made the purchase.
Managing the migration from old to new PC
I recently purchased a new PC and investigated the best way to transfer the contents of my old PC.
Not being particularly computer savvy, I saw a link to Zinstall. As they admit themselves, it is not the cheapest tool on the market, but it looked comprehensive and promised to make the task simple.
I was very impressed. Having installed Zinstall on both machines they discovered each other and all I had to do was tell it which was the old PC and which was the new.
A few hours later, the job was done and everything was ready to use on my new PC.
Not a great experience
I transferred an old surface pro to a new one and did it manually. Took a couple hours, but all worked out well. Used ZInstall for my desktop - slow. Took longer than the manual download and install, and did not transfer any of the activation/license info. Missed many applications and had to go install them myself anyway. Was $129 (so $200 CDN plus tax) and was really pretty well a complete waste of money. Had more aggravations and time spent doing things right than the manual transfer I did on my own.
Originally purchased Zinstall "WinWin" but upgraded to "Pro"
Originally purchased Zinstall WinWin. The transfer was unsuccessful due to the fact that my new PC had an SSD C: Drive which wasn't large enough to transfer everything. I upgraded the software to the Migration Pro version, paying only the difference in price. Stupidly I purchased the upgrade using a different e-mail to the original purchase. Using the Chatline I reported the problem and Paul, the contact, arranged for the Support Team to link the original Program with the upgrade. A few hours later Sam R informed me this had been done and I could proceed with the migration. This was successful first time and I now have all my settings, programs and Data on my new PC. All in all, a very satisfactory experience. The only problems were of my own making!! As a recommendation to others, use a data cable, rather than Wifi for the migration, it's a lot quicker and less prone to gliches.
Zero support for problem created by transfer to new Windows 11laptop
Transfer from laptop with Windows 10 to very similar laptop with Windows 11. Most programs, data, and settings transferred. However, after the transfer, the speakers on the new laptop became almost inaudible. After many hours of tests by me and the laptop manufacturer, we determined it was definitely a problem created in Windows by the transfer. I tried to get help from Zinstall. After a month of sending them multiple emails with their own diagnostic program runs, I never got a single reply from Zinstall. Not the support promised on their website.
Some apps not transferred - faster/cheaper to migrate manually.
While the process was simple and easy for the user, Zinstall did not transfer all applications and broke the search functionality in Outlook (a huge problem). Did not transfer MS Project, Gsynci, ShareX, Outlook add-ins.
Customer support was poor. They insisted it transfers everything, despite my documented experience. They also have no logs to show what transfers.
Would have been much faster, and much less costly, if I had migrated manually.

This company is a fraud. They make the transfer sound so very easy. It's a scam. It doesn't work and in addition, they have several 'ways' to have you upgrade into different products. Disgusting business practice. I will do my best to alert the public...

Excellent service from this software company that enabled me to transfer all my files + programmes from my old PC to a new one. Downloaded the software, connected the 2 PC's and let the programme do its work - took some time, but well worth the time and cost - great value for money 💰.
Bought this to transfer my new laptop…
Bought this to transfer my new laptop and a new tower pc. Had problems getting it to find the source machines. Emailed support and they were quick to respond with a solution that worked immediately. I was able to transfer both machines perfectly, which says a lot as I had been using them both for almost eight years. Very happy with the product.
