I love my Zen Hair Extensions. They are great quality & really easy to look after. I would recommend them to anyone considering getting extensions.

This is my second set of Zen Hair Extensions with Gemma, and I honestly couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Each pack of hair has lasted me well over 12 months, and even now my current extensions feel just as soft and natural as the day they were fitted. That’s a true testament to both the quality of the hair and the aftercare advice Gemma provides.

With the right products and by following Gemma’s simple maintenance tips, I’ve found looking after my extensions really easy—hardly any different from when I wasn’t wearing them. A few key things that make all the difference: using the recommended products for the tapes, being gentle when washing (no harsh scrubbing), and using the right brushes and tools when drying.

I’ve had zen tape extensions for 5 1/5 years and I absolutely love them. I get new hair just once a year and have them retaped every 10 weeks. Mine are very light blond and they stay soft and silky
I wash my hair no more than twice a week and I find them so easy to manage

Zen are the best hair extensions I have had. Had the tapes and now a weft and love both. With good care they can last up to 2 years and still feel soft and look shiny. Love love love 💕

i have never been more disgusted by a product in my life!!! i am genuinely outraged, i’ve had extensions a few times but tried out zen hair and within the first wash they were dry and felt like straw, no matter what i did they began to mat and i would find my hair in a ball in the back of my head, ive tried so many good products i take so much care of it. i am now having to cut the extensions out of my head as they are in a rock solid ball on my head, and now loosing my own hair. spend your money on something better and DO NOT BUY THIS HAIR, the support team are not supportive either

Awful hair quality, I bought 2 packs in March of 22inch micro I-tips in colours p18b / 101, the hair is now 16/17 inches. Snapping, split ends, discoloured and lost 6/7 inch’s of length if not more. No life left to them, meant to last 3 months to a year and they’re done, ready for the bin, £300 down the drain. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. AVOID if you want your hair to look horrid after 3 weeks. Ratty straggly ends have only had them refitted once. I’ve been getting hair extensions for 3 years and know how to look after them and maintain them to get the longest lifespan out of them, first and last time using Zenhair/ EGN hair extensions. 0/10.

Really really disgusted with the whole team and director of zen hair, I ordered £700 worth of hair extensions from this company on the 3rd July 2025. Received a confirmation email of my order. Waited, but recieved no email to tell me that my order was ready to be collected. When I called to enquire this morning, they told me someone had already come to collect my hair and gave my name, no ID was requested nor for them to see the verification email confirming my order. I was utterly disgusted when I was told that they had cctv with audio to prove to me that they didn’t get my order mixed up with someone else’s. As a fairly large supplier I thought they would offer a solution to this as they never done the proper security checks before handing goods!! Honestly please please don’t order from them!! I’m left with no hair, and -£700

It’s a great brand. Great standard of hair.

The worst hair Ive ever used, I’m shocked! I used it before a couple of years ago and it never done this. I have had the hair since the beginning of April, I’ve done the proper aftercare and everything right but the hair is extremely matted it is horrible I brush it and two seconds later it backcombes itself so matted I can’t even brush it. Don’t listen to the good reviews because I’m telling you that you will regret it, it looks nice at first and as soon as you wash it wow. It’s like a hagrid wig, it’s horrible I’d rather walk around with no hair

Have been a client before Zen hair even opened, followed when it opened and have never regretted it. Always such a friendly, fun atmosphere. They always understand what I want, even when I don’t fully know how to explain it. Always leave feel very happy, fresh and loving my hair.

High quality hair, my clients get a solid years wear out of these extensions.

Matted hair after 2nd maintenance. Beautiful to start, lasted just 6 weeks before began to mat. Used ALL recommended products, cared for extensively. Customer after care doesn't exist. Few replies back from complaint but only to get information no response to actual complaint. Please avoid using this hair if you don't want to waste your money.

I had Zen hair ext’s put in my hair a few months ago and at first the hair felt ok; not as silky / good quality as previous hair exts I have had, but I thought ok and given what I paid for them I stuck with them. Within a few months they started feeling very dry (and looking dry) & then the tangling problems started. I’ll start by saying I look after my hair exts - you must put time & effort in to maintain them for them to last a year+. Tangling is worse if I’m out running & it rains… it takes circa 20 mins to brush the knots / tangles out with a good hair product.

Unfortunately the reviews on this hair speaks for themselves - it is not good quality hair, feels more like fake hair (almost doll hair actually) than real hair. There are better products out there.

Management - I’ve noticed a popular reply to your negative reviews on here are that the person isn’t “in your system” ie you suggest they are reviewing hair from elsewhere - I’ll be in your system as I ordered and paid for the hair via your website, using Apple Pay (via a success search email address) which the salon that recommended Zen hair exts then fitted.

You charge a rather high price for rather low quality hair, this needs rectifying.

I recently used Zen and it is by far the best hair I’ve had. Those saying theirs fell out, the problem is with the person that put them in not the hair itself. The range of colours are exceptional and really hold their colour after a few washes. Really beautiful. Thank you Zen 🌟

Was working in a salon using this and the clients hair looks like hay after 2 weeks it’s awful I no longer use and will never use again

It’s Chinese hair so the quality is rubbish and you can’t charge that amount of money for that quality

Bought 50 nanos for my hair for a special occasion
Have used zen for years.
The day after having them fitted by my usual extension specialist,10 fell out the next morning!!!
By the time I was going out,they were just slipping out everywhere.
I couldn’t believe it,so dissapointed.Don’t think I’ll be using zen again
My hair needed thickness only,always used the bonds and never had any issues.
The nanos are awful

Awful quality hair. Tangles instantly. Extremely fine and lacking fullness, extensions look stringy.

The rubber nanos just slip out.
I have since moved to a different brand of hair and the quality is ten times better.

I feel that customer service is very impersonal. If we have a problem we can’t speak to anybody it’s just back-and-forth by email and then when we do send an email it doesn’t get read properly and very rarely are they ever answered regarding the questions that we have asked all they ask questions that we have already stated in our previous emails. I find it very frustrating. I have had a few sets of Hair and personally I believe the quality has not been good enough, I am then told we are not guaranteed, unless we use Zen‘s own shampoos and conditioners. With my other range of hair extensions. We use various ranges of shampoos depending on what the client wants , they are all hair extension friendly. So I now purchase the shampoos and conditioners to back up the hair that I purchase and yet i still have one set of hair that I still feel is extremely dry and not a great quality so unfortunately When I have tried to discuss this I get nowhere . There is always another reason for the problem.Other companies they work with me as a client and not against me so I am less likely to purchase from Zen as often as I may purchase from other extension companies.
