If I could give no stars I most definitely would, the workers here have a terrible attitude, especially shanice. She was very unpleasant and I didn’t feel comfortable getting my lips done with her at all so I left. Shanice acts very entitled and honestly all around just not a nice person at all.
In this type of environment you would hope the workers would make you feel comfortable since there is going to be a needle going into my face, but they very much did the opposite.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS CLINIC, VERY RUDE WORKERS AND UNHOSPITABLE.
There are many better clinics in the vicinity, avoid this one at all costs!!!

I am miserable, I've lost my self-esteem due to the 'microblading' i.e., not mapped out, hand drawn, excruciatingly painful slugs (not numbed in the slightest), Shanice put on my face. They are truly terrible, saturated, with a black/blue tint that are the wrong shape for my face. I've been told I will never be able to get rid of due to them being so deep into my skin - these are not semi-permanent. Shanice holds no responsibility for the monstrosity she made my eyebrows, in fact she is extremely defensive and not aware of how this is now impacting me. I've cried multiple times through this process. Do yourself a favor and go to someone who has training, attention to detail and expertise before going here. The amount of money I will need to spend on removing these eyebrows is too frustrating for words, with no offer of compensation.

Unfortunately, Shanice’s (the owner) rude, aggressive and unprofessional language and attitude towards me led me to cancel my appointment and find another professional technician to complete the procedure. Shanice let her brand and her team down as others working at Zaku seem great!

Needless to say, I will NOT be recommending Zaku Cosmetics as there are many other places that offer excellent results WITH excellent customer service!

Ive just had my eyebrows done from Shanice at Zakus Cosmetics and Love them! I was a little nervous hoping to achieve my desired foxy look and thankfully Shanice done an outstanding job! Im so happy i came here even though i live an hour away it was so worth it, she understood what i wanted and delivered with perfection. She is very talented and definitely knows how to Beautify features. The place was modern and clean and Shanice is lovely as well as professional and i would definitely be coming back with my friends and family and recommend to everyone- Thankyou Shanice you made my day ❤️

I found this place after reading all the amazing reviews on Fresha & treatwell, I was not disappointed!

I got microblading done for the first time so I was pretty nervous, the receptionist was friendly and reassuring which put my mind at ease.

The actual treatment itself wasn’t too painful at all just a little uncomfortable towards the end.

I love the final result and so happy that I no longer need to pencil my brows in every day.

I just finished my Microblading sessions , main and top up.
After the first session healed I was a bit scared as the shape was not what I was thinking it will be , but here is the reason of the top up and correcting, as is advices when you do the microblading treatment doing the research.
Shanice is amazing ! So professional and so good at this art. She gave the shape I was looking for, I can say my eyebrows are PERFECT! Like the ones u see on the tv adverts :) so so happy !

It's been a while since my microblading session with Shanice in May 2021, but I feel compelled to write this review as I dont ever want anyone to experience the pain, anxiety and stress i had to go through because of her work. I've had microblading before and it always looked great, but I wanted a touch-up as my brows are naturally thin. I purchased a microblading with ombre session on Groupon, but unfortunately, Shanice did a terrible job. During the first session, the pain was unbearable and she didn't even draw my brows before tattooing. I trusted her "professional" touch, but clearly, she didn't know what she was doing.

Despite not being happy with how it looked after the first session, Shanice reassured me that it would look better in the second session. I hoped that would be the case, but it only got worse. The pigment she used was too dark for my skin, and the shape was very uneven on the front. I was so embarrassed to be seen by my friends, as they also pointed out how uneven it was on the front. But Shanice convinced me that it would look better after the second session, so I went ahead.

Unfortunately, things didn't improve. My eyebrows ended up looking worse than ever, and I wish I could show photos to demonstrate how bad it really was. When my eyebrows healed and peeled, the pigment looked incredibly dark, and the front had a red tint where Shanice had tried to fix it and even out but failed cuz It was very different from the rest of the brows.

After my microblading session with Shanice, I sent photos to other microblading professionals, who were all unhappy with the results. They told me that Shanice shouldn't have changed the shape of my eyebrows during the first and second sessions, and that the pigment was too dark for my skin, and the strokes were too deep. They all suggested that I get the pigment removed.

I asked Shanice for a refund and removal, and I even showed her the messages from the other professionals. She agreed to remove the pigment and asked me to come in. I first did the magnetic removal which was painful, and I was told that I needed more than one session. When I went back for a second session, Shanice didn't inform me that the person doing the removal was sick, so the trip was a waste of time. When I brought this up and got annoyed at her for wasting my time, Shanice was unprofessional and yelled at me.

I had to go to another place for removal which she agreed to pay and I did six sessions of saline removal, which lightened my eyebrows but didn't completely remove the pigment. This was the most painful experience, but I had no choice because I wanted the pigment gone. Shanice suggested that I try laser removal, as it was taking long but when i told her about the price she seems like she doesn't believe me even if I called and inquired on the removal clinic she suggested. I swear I experienced so much anxiety and stress dealing with her! I cried so many times because of the pain and how terrible I look! so I decided to cut her off and went ahead and paid for the laser removal myself. My eyebrows look better now but I still need more removal sessions to get the ends completely removed but removal is too expensive. One session costs about £100 up. To add, She also kept on mentioning that some of the pigment was from my other microblading experience. However, you can barely see the pigment before I had the session with her. She never mentioned that this was going to be a problem too, she just went and go ahead with the session.

In summary, I don't recommend Zaku. Save yourself some time and money and go to a different salon for your cosmetic needs.

This salon ruined my face for the rest of my life. I went to see Shanice Zakuani in September 22 to have a tear-drop filler and she injected 2ml under my eyes. I asked if there were any risks of my skin around the eyes becoming overstretched and she assured me no. In the following days my eyes became extremely bruised and swollen, ruining my holiday. When I got back I went to see Shanice and she agreed the filler had to be removed. I wanted a refund for the treatment which was offered but when I came for the removal appointment, she shouted, demanding that I write her an “indemnity” for the treatment and was so extremely rude, she left me in the salon in tears – no refund and no remedy treatment. The alternative she had offered was a “trial and error” of her injecting and removing filler, but I refused. The following day, I get a call from her manager, Leanne, at 8:30pm on a Friday evening, asking me to go to the salon the following morning for them to rectify the problem and discuss a refund. My problems were about to get worse. Shanice over-injected dissolver – even as I was assured, again, that this was not going to happen. And now I am left with sacks of saggy skin with “trellis” wrinkles underneath my eyes – premature ageing around the eyes, as a direct result of Shanice’s work. I sent photos to both Leanne and Shanice, demanding my refund and an apology for the way I had been treated - but none ever came. This place is every person’s worst nightmare of a beauty salon experience.

I booked an offer via Groupon and despite repeated attempts to contact them via both telephone and email they never made any attempt to get back to me. Totally unprofessional and incompetent. AVOID!!!

Exceptionally good - no hesitation in an unreserved recommendation- the owner Shanice is a lady of great charm, integrity and extraordinary ability. I’ve nothing but praise for both her salons in Clapham Junction and Epsom. Highly recommend for treatments - book in the confidence that you are dealing with the best of the best.

Really rubbish people who work there, the worse customer service I have ever experienced, rude staff, made me wait 2 hours extra from the appointment time! Without even an apology, they cancelled the treatment after these 2 hrs of waiting. I wish I never went to that place, horrible people to deal with. If I was you, I will save my time and money and not go there to have them wasted!!!! TO BE AVOIDED!!!!

I have not failed to wait for 25mins as I have instead waited for 2 hours instead of 25 min wait.
By the way on your reply you have made a false declaration about saying “ I purposely thrown the nail polish and I have abused staff”?
This is not a way to protect the business view by blaming and making up a story that has never happened.
This is a false accusation to hide the image of the business.

Fantastic eyelash extensions at the Epsom branch. The young girl took care and time to ensure all was just right. They lasted over 3 weeks. Very pleased with the lashes and the customer service
