The report was excellent, however when I called the inspector to request further information regarding rectification of identified issues his emailed response was not aligned at all to the issues listed in his report. The next week I received 3 emails from the same inspector that were obviously meant for someone else as they were pictures of other properties I was unassociated with.
This was confusing and unhelpful

From the initial email to the first phone call it was high service the whole way. What could easily be a stressful process was done with ease. Everyone along the way was great, I personally dealt with Sonia who was lovely. Even my solicitor said it’s one of the best reports she had seen and at incredible speed!

I have recently purchased a house and had your building inspector to inspect for building and pest, they were amazing and very friendly, buying a house can be so overwhelming but Laurie took the time to explain and go through everything with me also the receptionist was kind and understanding when enquiring and booking the appointment, this definitely took some of the stress away, I would highly recommend this company

These guys are great: thorough, reasonably priced and fast, with comprehensive report and detailed information provided over phone by the inspector.(Since could not attend in person because of covid19 lock-down)

The whole process was quick and simple.

After filling out the form I was contacted a few minutes after that and the inspection was arranged.

Guy arrived on time and provided a comprehensive but easy to read report which told me everything I needed to know about the apartment I was about to buy.

So all in all the whole experience was perfect from start to finish. Completely flawless.

Friendly helpful and fit us in straight away

An employee named "Guy" was assigned to do a pre-purchase inspection of a property I had put an offer in. He found some major defects that I had missed and gave me a call afterwards to explain the issues and required repairs. This allowed me to make an informed decision of the purchase which I actually ended up cancelling due to the potential future repair costs. I really dodged a bullet based on the report provided so I can't thank Your Building Inspector enough. Would highly recommend.

I was very pleased with the service by YBI, over the phone and email correspondence organising the inspection and quote was very speedy and friendly, inspection was arranged for the same day! Very detailed report which I got back the same day as inspection. Would highly recommend
