Four of my friends booked a trip
Four of my friends booked a trip. They gave me the name Sophia Swarte. I called her direct line and she took very good care of me. She got me on the same trip as a single. She had the Air department arrange my flights. I will be happy to add comments after my trip!

The trip I was interested in was sold out when I inquired but I had asked to be notified of any cancellations. Bea notified me of a cancellation several weeks later and we were able to book. Looking forward to our September departure

Buyer BEWARE!
Buyer Beware! YMT did not honor the written itinerary they provided me for my western tour! I did not receive two tours that were listed plus at least 2 of my hotel accommodations were well below average. I contacted them twice while on tour & never got a response! I spoke with 2 YMT associates after I returned & concluded after getting an email that YMT will take no responsibility for their errors or shortcomings! YMT is not customer focused & not interested in making it right for their customers! It is NOT okay or legal to put things in writing & then NOT do them & then try to cover up or ignore promised services. SKIP THE FRUSTRATION OF WORKING WITH YMT! They are not worthy of your time & money! Buyer Beware!
I am tired of YMT's canned response! The majority of what they stated is false! This is a simple matter; they didn't provide what was promised & refuse to take responsibility for it! Furthermore, 2 of their accommodations were well below average. I have filed a complaint with the BBB so people who are thinking of dealing with YMT should be forewarned.

We conducted a comprehensive review of your file, including the tour itinerary, booking materials, website descriptions, internal tour reports, and feedback from your Tour Director and fellow guests.
Based on this review, we confirmed that the tour services provided were consistent with the information presented at the time of booking. The Seattle portion of the itinerary included a guided city tour by motorcoach following free time at Pike Place Market, led by your Tour Director. A step-on or walking guide was not included or represented in the tour materials. Our Tour Directors are experienced professionals, and their role is standard for this itinerary.
We also confirmed that the hotels provided were the properties listed in the program or comparable accommodations, consistent with the booking details. Our records do not show that concerns regarding the hotels were reported to hotel staff or the Tour Director during the tour, which would have allowed the opportunity to address them at the time.
While we regret that your experience did not meet your personal expectations, our review found no misrepresentation or failure to provide the services purchased. As a gesture of goodwill and customer care, a $150 refund was previously issued.
We appreciate your feedback and value your comments as we continue to improve the guest experience.

Bea is the most fabulous travel consultant! She went above and beyond to get us just exactly the trip we were hoping for. This is our 6th tour with YMT. They take care of us from start to finish. Amazing time with YMT and Pita Rakuita
This was our second time with YMT and the first time for my daughter who just graduated from HS and we had the most amazing time! Pita Rakuita was the best tour guide anyone could ask for! He was so knowledgeable and organized and kind! He was so compassionate with my elderly parents and helped them along each step of the way from saving seats for them on the bus and walking behind them to helping them make arrangements for any request that they might have had. We had a personal tour with Pita at the Polynesian Cultural Center and even heard him perform. It was a fabulous experience overall and we can’t thank Pita enough for everything!

Our tour director
Our tour director, Pita Rakuita, is who made this trip a once in a lifetime holiday. He took such good care of us. Every detail was checked and double checked. He was so knowledgeable about all the islands and he truly treated us as ohana. We gained a wonderful friend.
