Easy use

The camera is brilliant on how quick and easy the camera is to set up recording. It is also very easy to carry around.
The company is very responsive to any questions or issues you have.
The camera is very accurate at focusing.

The improvement I would recommend is making the editing the ability to draw and highlight areas of the video for a few seconds. This would be useful in using the recording for feedback or analysis.

I've been really happy with my XbotGo…

I've been really happy with my XbotGo experience. The Chameleon makes recording sports so much easier—I can finally relax and watch my kid’s games without worrying about missing any action. The video quality is clear and the tracking is quite accurate most of the time.

Super happy with my order!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had such a good experience I figured I should. I ordered from XbotGo and everything went really smoothly. Shipping was fast, the item was well-packed, and it the Chameleon works exactly as expected. I used it on my basketball game, especially i luv the follow me mode function.

I had a small question and reached out to their support team—they replied super quickly and were honestly really helpful and nice. You don’t always get that level of service these days, so I really appreciated it.

Quick resolution to product issue

Doesn't really keep up and very flimsy

Spent too much time hunting the ball and missed alot of the action.
It blew over on the tripod after about a month and the clip holding the phone snapped, the manufacturer doesn't supply spare parts so it ended up in the bin. Waste of money.

Honestly couldn't fault my experience…

Honestly couldn't fault my experience with customer service. Was advised after a couple of days there would be a slight delay with the tripod and received a partial refund promptly, it ended up arriving the same day as the gimbal.
Have used the DJI gimbal, so am fully aware of the capabilities of the gimbal and know that the XBOTGO gets better each time you use it, as it gets smarter the more you use it.
I am looking forward to capturing my sons football ⚽️ games in more detail going forward.

Really expensive tripod mounted phone holder

I see all of these reviews complaining about customer service. Forget about the customer service. The product SUCKS. It got it all charged up and put it in action. Synched it up to my cell phone with no problems. First I tried the mode that just tracks the game. It doesn’t have a volleyball option so I used the basketball option. I set it up at half court as recommended and it was completely useless. I had to manually move the device to start tracking. I guess the pace of the game is too fast for the AI. That’s fine. It doesn’t work at mid court for volleyball. So I moved it to a more traditional recording location, near the endline in the corner. It started fine as the action is mostly within the field of vision. But eventually, whether it was because of a new server or a substitution or some other sort of movement , the unit would fixate on a new field of action so I found myself constantly adjusting the unit back to focus on the game, like a 3 year old child. I decided to see what would happen if I just let it go. Eventually it focused on a completely different game on a completely different court until rotating off of that court basically off into space (thanks to the 360 capability).
I also tried the “follow me” mode where it tracks a player. When the kids got all bunched up in the field of view, the unit jumped to a different player and tracked that player for a while.
Additionally, when it did track properly, it was jumpy, it zoomed in and out, generally too slow in tracking. I looked at a couple of YouTube demos and found similar results for basketball game. It literally nauseated me with motion sickness.
Great idea. Poor execution. Not only is it not worth $300, it is completely worthless other than its functionality as a really expensive phone holder mounted on top of a tripod.

Unfortunately it’s not possible to give less than a 1 star review. Xbotgo has terrible customer service as it is impossible to speak to anyone by phone and email responses are next to none. I placed my ordered on November 25th, the confirmation states delivery if in 3-5 days, I am now approaching day 11 and still have not received my order. This company is quick to process payment but has no interest in assisting customers with receiving the merchandise in a timely manner or providing any further help.

Awful customer service

Awful customer service, sent the umbrella however was missing the camera which was due on the same shipment. Despite me enquiring on several occasions why the camera is missing I have had no response. I’m going to seek my money back via the credit card company and let them see if they can get their money back.

Missing items from order. No customer service support

We pre-ordered the elite bundle chameleon. It was despatched to us. The chameleon AI camera looks good but can't use yet as the T4 tripod included in the package hasn't been delivered. Tried contacting customer support by phone, email, social media over a week ago and silence. No tripod so at the moment not fit for purpose and customer services non existent. Please sort this out xbot!

Bought for 11 aside football team. Dosnt track fast enough, gets stuck on anything moving around it.
Tried on 4 full 90 min games, captured about 35% of all games together in total.
Money down the drain.

Best price quality ratio

At a low cost, you get a very good tracking device.

There are still some minor issues, but everything get solved and the evolution is always an improvement.

I highly recommend parents and sports teams to invest this AI gimbal

Used it all week for tournaments For both of my teams. Was able to utilize the live feed and links so parents and grandparents were able to watch their kids play. The AI function was able to track the game. End up utilizing the larger tripod and elevate the camera AI Sports, 13 feet above the court, which gave enough distance to be able to track the activity of the game. I highly recommend parents grandparents youth club Sports teams to invest an XbotGo AI Sports gimbal. Awesome product very happy that I decided to take a chance on it.
