this company is the best housing association i have been with and I cannot thank Mia specifically enough for all the help and support she has given me in securing my tenancy. From start to finish, she went above and beyond to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. Her kindness, patience, and understanding made such a difference, and I always felt reassured knowing she was there to guide me. Thanks to Mia, I am now so happy and excited to move forward, and I will be forever grateful for everything she has done. She truly offers the best support and I couldn’t recommend her and this company highly enough!

Yorkshire housing is one of the worst places I've lived it took them 5 years to fix a leaking roof and I've noticed they use cheap materials in winter my flats freezing and when you phone up to make a complaint your stuck in a queue and a repair takes 14 days to get a dripping tap fixed but I've noticed about Yorkshire housing they no were you are when they need your rent money i got £40 decorating voucher after experience a leaking roof nearly 3 years

Yorkshire Housing!! So glad we moved out of their property worsed landlords ever. The customer service handlers do keep proper records, takes months to get a repair done, and they ignore child safety concerns. They have let a family of 4 children sleep in one bedroom. And they have filled the flats in the cul de sac which was meant for over 55's, with anti social tenants blaring loud music. Now they are taking the mick with rent just putting them up & up every year and providinga crap service. We are more than happy to be finished with them, we don't have to deal with morons anymore.

Had my assessment with Ellie today, I’ve been an absolute mess for a week wondering what was going on making myself sick with worry. But as soon as Ellie called me and we started talking I instantly relaxed and was happy to be offered a new home for me and my family! Well done Ellie and keep up the wonderful work you do!

I live next door to tenants of Yorkshire Housing.

I grew up in a yorkshire housing home myself so i have nothing against their tenants in general and i was happy to purchase a home next door to a yorkshire housing property.

However, for the past 2 and a half years, we have been living next door to a family that daily display anti social behaviour. This behaviour was displayed from the first day they moved in. We regularly have disturbed sleep to be woken up by loud banging, screaming and shouting etc Police regularly attend the scene and have made arrests. Our neighbors have also been on our property numerous times and have threatened myself and my husband. They have also shouted abuse at neighbours that pass by their home in the street.
Yorkshire housing have been fully aware of the case and it is now with the enforcement team. (2 and a half years later) However, the progress for dealing with anti social behaviour has been poor and extremely slow. To clarify, our neighbours display this behaviour daily, some days it has been so extreme we have been advised to stay away from the property.

Unfortunately this has massively put us off yorkshire housing as an organisation, we will never purchase a property next door to yorkshire housing tenants again which is sad as we feel if this situation had been handled correctly and given the time it required, we wouldn't have such an outlook.

However we feel the lack of response to this case has negatively effected our emotional well being and lead us to hate being in our own home due to a lack of peace.

I would not recommend yorkshire housing as an organisation as a result of this awful experience.

I am living next door to a young couple who have had 3 children in 4 years, they've had the police called out for violence so many times I've lost count, obviously Yorkshire housing are informed every time. The neighbours on the other side have had so many abusive threats Yorkshire housing fitted them with a door camera , for nothing to change they decided they would fit the couples house with a door camera, I mean whst are they waiting for, something to go really wrong, youd think theyd be trying to prevent it. Social services are dealing with them for violence, drug abuse, alcohol abuse and so on, every time I go out of my house I'm being shouted at abd threatened, we have recording after recording of evidence how long this is going on yet nothing is being done about it.
Feel totally abandoned by Yorkshire housing. I've lived here 21 years and have loved every minute until this happened

Ellie was the kind lady working to offer and assess me to been eligible for a property. Always lovely and helpful on the phone. Great experience

Just had my assessment phone call with Ellie, I have been nervous and on edge waiting for this however as soon as Ellie greeted me on the phone I felt at ease as she was very friendly and compassionate. Looking forward to meeting her in person and starting my new chapter with Yorkshire housing :) xx

Iv just had my housing assessment with Ellie. I have been like a nervous wreck for a week not knowing how the assessment will go and within a minute of being on the phone she made me feel at ease. And when she offered me the property i literally cried and she was so caring and understanding. Keep doing what your doing Ellie you do an amazing job!

Ellie has been fantastic this week helping us with our tenancy. She was very friendly, professional and explained everything clearly. What could have been stressful turned into a smooth and positive experience thanks to her support.

Ellie Moxon was such a great help with my home. She was incredibly helpful, kind, and patient throughout the entire process. I truly appreciated her support and guidance, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable and caring.

I’ve been a Yorkshire Housing tenant for 20 years this year, and I can’t imagine ever having anyone else as my landlord. I would say my experiences of dealing with YH are 98% positive in all that time, the vast majority of staff really care about the people in their properties and want to try to make their lives pleasant and fulfilling.

Of the few less than wonderful experiences I’ve had, all of them have involved contractors working on YH’s behalf rather than YH itself, and YH have always strived to sort out any issues and make things right.

This year my flat has been upgraded with smart heaters and a smart water heater, all of which cost far less to run and can be controlled via an app on my phone, or simply by telling Alexa what I want them to do, there’s a real Buck Rogers in the 25th Century vibe! These new devices learn from my usage and anticipate when I’ll want heating or hot water and charge up during cheaper periods to save me money on my electric bill. They’ve also installed solar panels which have made a big difference to my electricity bill, especially given the sunny weather we’ve had this year. It’s basically free to do my clothes washing during the day and run my aircon unit, which is a devil for eating up electricity.

As a disabled tenant, it’s important to feel my landlord cares about my wellbeing, and Yorkshire Housing definitely does that. They’ve fitted enhancements and adaptations to my flat to make life easier for me, and they also put me in touch with the right people to ensure I’m getting the right support. It feels good to feel the people you deal with at YH want you to be happy and supported where you need to be.

They’re a grand Yorkshire firm for grand Yorkshire people. They could only be any better if they paid my electricity bill for me. Hopefully after reading this they will 😁

(They won’t, but how good would that be if they did?!?! 😂😂😂)
