The finished Worth It in the End — But Bring Extra Handsproduct looks great on our…

The finished product looks great on our patio at the end of the garden, and we love the ambience of the interior — helped by the wood flooring we installed ourselves. Having the floor frame (bought separately) definitely made a difference.

Delivery: We were given a specific delivery date and arranged for someone to be home. However, the delivery company arrived a day early and notified us only five minutes beforehand. Luckily, someone happened to be in.

Construction: Building the 108 ZGEY shed was, frankly, a bit of a nightmare. I started the assembly with my son (31), and it took most of a day just to complete the roof section. By mid‑afternoon, we had three people working on it. As other reviewers mentioned, some of the pre‑drilled holes didn’t line up, which was frustrating but not unexpected. The instructions could also be clearer, though we did eventually get there.

The following week, constructing the remainder of the shed went more smoothly — until we discovered we were missing two specific screws needed to hang one of the doors.

Aftercare: This was the standout positive. The aftercare team responded quickly, and the missing screws arrived within three days.

It’s recommended that two people undertake the build, but having a third person helped enormously. We don’t think it’s realistic to build it on your own.

Late delivery, rude customer services

Received message with delivery date. First delivery didn't happen. No message to let me know. Second delivery didn't happen. No message to let me know. I contacted Yardmaster again and this time they told me that the third time delivery would be a week after first, failed delivery. Totally unacceptable.
They give a delivery window from 8 am to 6 pm. Nowadays, delivery companies give 4 or even 2 hour windows. 10 hours is ridiculous.
Customer services gave the standard "sorry for the inconvenience". They obviously don't care that I had to stay at home for 10 hours, twice, waiting for a van that never turned up.
Contacted B&Q and cancelled my order.

I ordered a Shiplap shed from…

I ordered a Shiplap shed from Yardmaster and although there was a issue with the delivery I am very happy with the shed. I appreciate that many will find the erection of the shed a major issue but assuming you have the right tools and follow the instructions along with the video on YouTube and allow a couple of days to complete you should end up with a very usable product. It’s important that your base is level and you will have to drill some holes as not every single hole marries up and I found it better to use a screwdriver rather than a cordless driver as you have more control. As mentioned on another review given the price and with care you will end up with a great shed.

Ordered shed online

Ordered shed online, very easy, with regular update of delivery. Arrived on time but caution the box was tall but narrow and extremely heavy. Shed comes in multiple pieces that all have to be screwed together. Most pieces were numbered although not all. Instructions clear enough with a little studying as you go, similar to any item that needs construction at home. Our shed was quite large 10 x 4 so had two people constructing, took nearly all day, as stated don’t do it on a windy day the individual pieces are very light. Lots of screwing so use cordless if you can. Quality okay for the price.

Poor company avoid

Your reply states it was delivered in the 10 window. It was not it came on the 11th business day

Castleton Yardmaster shed

We bought a yard master castleton metal shed from A1 sheds last September . But didn't have the opportunity to build it until last week mainly due to the weather . It's not the easiest shed to build and is definitely a two man job . It took around 6 hours.
However on completion , one of the sliding doors had a small dent which meant we couldn't close it properly. We contacted Yardmaster and they could not have been more helpful and immediately sent us a replacement .We have nothing but great things to say about them and from that alone we would highly recommend them as a company . Our only negative comment on the shed is that the sliding doors don't slide smoothly as we would expect . They would be better suited to having drawer runners . But we did grease the frame which helped .

My son bought a new shed through Argos

My son bought a new shed through Argos. He wanted to add a lean too for a log store. I contacted Yardmaster and communicated with Orla. The additional panel was sent free of charge via FedEx which wouldn't have been cheap. I couldn't fault the customer service at all, amazing service from start to finish. The shed is amazing also.

There is nothing more I like than being…

There is nothing more I like than being under house arrest as a time slot was given from 7am to 6pm.
Only to find that no one turned up after I took a day off work to wait for delivery and with no explanation of why it did not deliver on the day they said they would. Now I suppose I will have to take another day off if and when they decide to deliver.
Sorry but not impressed so far but on the other hand they did take the money pretty quickly, if I could I would leave no stars but I have to give 1 star for the review. It is my fault for not viewing other reviews (average 2.2 stars) never again will I buy from this company. Now not going to deliver until Monday 20th so on that I have cancelled the order and getting a full refund. People who may be reading this you have been warned.

White washers

I went online looking for the white washers, as I did not find them I sent them an enquiry email. Was advised to purchase the black washers and the white washers were dispatched together. The following day I received the item. Great service.

Yardmaster 10 ft 6 ft Apex Roof

I have just completed the assembly of a yardmaster 10ft x 6ft apex roof metal shed. I should say that I am a mechanical engineer with 25 years experience in the aircraft industry so it could be said that I have a head start in the assembly process.
Firstly I would say the instructions are detailed and need to be throughly studied before starting, I had to read the instructions three time before I was happy to start.
After checking I had all the required components and they were in good order (there are lot of components and fixings)assembly commenced on a level concrete base.
I had the optional floor kit to keep the contents dry.
Assembly took 2 full days working on my own, it would have been easier with two people.
During assembly the shed is very flimsy, it is not until the assembly is complete does the shed become secure.
The finished shed is sturdy, watertight (garden hose used to test for leaks) and should last for many years as the steel is zinc coated.
Assembly is straight forward if you are prepared, have patience, follow the instructions to the letter and take your time.
During assembly I would recomend frequent checks to ensure the assembly is square and level.
I fully understand that everyone may have different skill levels but I have to say I enjoyed building the shed.

Possibly the worst assembled product…

Possibly the worst assembled product possible. Instructions were totally wrong, unreadable and totally confusing. I had to think on my own feet and was trial and error. Pannels were out of alignment. Its flimsy. Terrible packaging. Awful. Do not purchase. Doors are flimsy and dont open and shut properly

FOR ORLA Yardmaster Ireland Customer Service

For ORLA, i kept to my word! Customer service in Ireland is IMPECABLE!
I've read what others have written & i dont believe them! Because we've had a door runner break on our Emerald deluxe after over 25yrs, now thats a boast for yardmasters ;-)
Orla replied the next day cos i emailed @ night. I replied & within a cpl of hrs she'd stopped drinking her Guinness, taken her feet off the desk & replied back again, & thats in-between answering all the other calls she's getting.
We always remember we're not the only ones in the world with questions! (& keeping the mgr fed with his tea & biccys lol, hope her mgr likes that?)

Well! The runner that we've got they cant supply but she told me where to go (theres a joke there lol) to get what we needed at a very reasonable price, £5.89. with new nuts, bolts & washers inc.
Now hows that for customer service? We can only say FIRST CLASS! As the saying goes, She went Above & beyond, you dont get any better than that!

Hmm? Well you do, you get Orla, she's got a sense of humour whilst still being very professional!

P.S. We bought a pent 8x4 a little while back to hse our hens feed & it went together a dream & its waterproof so dont be put off by these so called engineers who cant put a Yardmaster up properly lol!
Yardmaster you're the best by far!

Poor quality . Not fit for purpose . Customer services unhelpful and rude . Same as Argos . Do not buy one of these sheds as your be wasting your money .

Freestyling shed build

Just finished building a shed bought from Bricomarche in Normandy. Process was complicated by mismatching boxes of parts being supplied. Eventually sorted with the help of Bricomarche and Yardmaster customer service when we eventually got through.
The initial instructions/schematics were OK, but soon diverged from reality on the ground. It's a budget priced oeoduct but missing part numbers, incorrect processes etc should not be ignored. However as soon as we ignored the manual, apart from basic identification, assembly proceeded reasonably well. Only one area required a few new holes to be drilled and this could be down to tolerance build up. Not sure I'd use them again, unless there was a significant improvement in instructions/schematics

Poor Quality & Horrendous Customer Servive

I would not buy from these people, directly or indirectly through a 3rd party like Argos. The product is faulty and is of low quality, including miss leading measurements and poor construction parts. Contacted the company directly to correct the problems and all we got was as rude, arrogant and patronising answers. Avoid, avoid, avoid!!
