la ringraziamo davvero per aver condiviso la sua esperienza e anche per aver aggiornato la recensione: il suo contributo è prezioso, perché ci permette di migliorare continuamente il servizio che offriamo ai nostri utenti e alle cantine partner.

Ci teniamo a chiarire un punto fondamentale: su Winedering tutte le recensioni – positive e negative – vengono ricevute, lette analizzate e pubblicate. Questo perchè 'l'obiettivo della piattaforma è sempre quello di mantenere un rapporto trasparente tra clienti e fornitori; è successo ad esempio in passato che una recensione fosse stata fatta per una cantina "sbagliata"; siamo allora intervenuti proprio analizzando la recensione, contattando fornitore e cliente e risolvendo il problema. Soprattutto quando le recensioni servono ad aiutare la cantina a migliorare siamo i primi ad attivarci con il nostro customer care per capire insieme cosa sia successo, ma le recensioni vengono sempre pubblicate. Quando ci ha segnalato il problema - tramite questa recensione - abbiamo immediatamente effettuato un controllo tecnico. Una volta risolto, la sua recensione è stata resa visibile come tutte le altre.

La invitiamo, se lo desidera, a consultare le numerose esperienze presenti sul sito: troverà molte recensioni eterogenee, anche critiche, proprio perché per noi trasparenza e autenticità sono elementi fondamentali. È così che aiutiamo ogni viaggiatore a scegliere con sicurezza e ogni cantina a migliorare l’esperienza offerta.

Dear Tanya,
Thanks for your message here. As already shared in the last 24h via email your booking required confirmation from the winery; many wineries on winedering are not big companies but mostly farmers that need to check availability. In this case when they didn’t respond within our 72-hour window, the booking was automatically cancelled and refunded. You’ve confirmed the refund was received on September 15th.

thank you for sharing your feedback — even if it’s a tough one to read, we truly appreciate the opportunity to clarify how Winedering works and hopefully clear up a misunderstanding.

Let us explain a few key points:

All wineries on Winedering join the platform voluntarily and manage their own content, availability, pricing, and booking confirmations. We don’t publish any tour unless the supplier has created and approved it. That's why we don't understand why you mention something that it's not actually true.

No tour is advertised without consent, and we never “fake” availability. In fact, our platform is designed to only show what wineries decide to offer. Most are small, family-run businesses — not open 7 days a week, and they confirm or decline each booking manually to maintain quality.

If a booking is rejected, the system immediately notifies the customer and refunds any payment. We do not — and cannot — “block” a tour behind the scenes: everything is visible and handled transparently.

We don’t use third-party resellers or “push” bookings without winery involvement. This is a core value of Winedering: the direct relationship with wineries, no middlemen.

You mentioned that wineries are “pissed off”. We actually work with over 3,000 wineries globally, and none have reported such an issue recently. If you experienced something different, we’d love to investigate — truly. Please send us the name of the winery or booking request and we’ll speak directly with them putting you in cc. we kindly ask you to contact us also at help@winedering.com so that everything could be better clarified.

We’re here to make wine travel better — for travelers and wineries. If something went wrong in your case, we would be more than happy to fix it.

Dear customer
Thanks for your review, we do always appreciate our travelers feedbacks. However we need to completely disagree with your comments. Indeed you correctly made the reservation request and, as per our terms and conditions and as per the email you automatically receive each time you make a reservation, each vendor on our platform has the right to reply within 72 h. This means that each reservation goes under the confirmation approval by the vendors. If, in any case, the vendor does not reply, the reservation is automatically reimbursed (and this is exactly what happened in your case).
Therefore our platform perfectly and correctly elaborated the request. We hope to assist you in future with wine experiences around the world!
