Purchased a voucher for my daughter for Christmas for a highland cow experience. Booked for the 24th July and no one showed up to meet them. After ringing and emailing my husband and very sad little girl gave up. When contacted by windmill retread they offered a rebook or refund and I asked for a refund. I’ve not heard from them
since. I’ve rang emailed and messaged on instagram and Facebook. Nothing. Don’t waste your money. Jo Harper was who I spoke with

Don't waste your time with this hopeless bunch. They will happily take your money, then never let you book your experience.

2-weeks of phone calls and emails unanswered and still nothing.

I was given a voucher in June for my birthday and wanted to book an experience with the company for two people. Despite an initial response saying there wasn't availability on a weekend until September, I haven't heard from them since. I've emailed numerous times and I've contacted via Instagram. I've had nothing but an auto-response. I can only go by my experience, but their communication is zero. It feels as though they have taken the money and ran. If I don't hear from them soon I'll be going to trading standards. I just feel like I've been scammed so I wouldn't risk giving them your money.

Was greeted by Becky who is so lovely!

Had the cream tea with the Highland Cows and the Pizza night. Both were just incredible. Pure luxury. I felt very lucky to experience this.

I got to walk a small highland cow too and spend time with the Alpacas and goats and fed them.

Excellent commumication from Jo and Mark is lovely and very friendley.

I needed time away due to having a poorly child snd it was just perfect.

We had the highland cow experience at Windmill Retreats with afternoon Tea, it was totally amazing from when we arrived until we left. This family run business should be proud of their product, the quality of the afternoon tea was out of this world and they had thought of everything even down to the empty box to take some home. The setup is private to your experience and you get to brush and feed the cows. Afterwards you get to explore Alpacas, Goats and even more Highland Cows.
