Just been to Royal William yard Plymouth wasn’t impressed with the waitress very unfriendly, stand offish and unhelpful, to make the visit worse the manager tried to over charge us over £20 so definitely check your bill before you pay

Lincoln . Food was ok and the service but bill had a service charge on which we told we could remove, which we did. Don't like the idea of automatically adding a service charge not sure if the staff get it .

The food was excellent so no problems there. The reason for my review is the company's poor policy putting profit ahead of customer satisfaction. One of our party who is 72 wanted a child's meal as the main menu would have been too much. They would not allow this so she had just a side of chips while the rest of us ate the meal of our choice. There were three children in our party and only one ordered from the child's menu and they would not allow one of the children to order a child's meal and then swap with the 72 year old. The youngest child wanted tap water but they brought her a fancy bottled water which obviously costs more than tap water. If these negative issues had not been part of our experience we would have given the experience a 5 star review.

£9 a pint. Disgusting. Do not go here!

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Wildwood, and it was lovely.

The highlight of our visit was the exceptional service provided by our waitress, Lorena. She was attentive and incredibly friendly. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic dining experience.

Overall, Wildwood exceeded all our expectations. With its mouthwatering cuisine and Lorena's outstanding service, it has become our new favorite spot. We can't wait to return and enjoy another wonderful meal. Highly recommend

Nottingham branch. Shown to booked table promptly. Drinks orders but took about half an hr to come. Food arrived far too salty and peppery on all dishes. Not offered any refills. Had to keep getting the attention of servers to get missing items and drinks, too busy chatting between themselves. Refused to pay £21 service charge. I normally don’t if looked after but to be fair we felt like an inconvenience. Not in a rush to return.

Quite simply, Wildwood Ely were just great!
Good food, friendly service VERY quick and a great atmosphere. I can also recommend the Newmarket restaurant.

This is my wife and under age teens on their birthday dinner at Wildwood Camberley.

We've booked in our daughter's 16th bday diner on Sat 9th of March with arrival between 4-4:30pm. Part of the group (teenagers under 16) arrived on time and part was late due to a heavy traffic. At arrival we've been "welcomed" by the guy clearly upset making comments about our lateness. He then said that he's got big party booked in later in the evening and we can only stay until 6pm. This was never mentioned when i was booking this in so clearly he just wanted to get rid off us before the dinner even started. In addition, when I was making the reservation weeks prior I've been offered by a nice lady that kids can chose on the day either from main menu or party menu. When I've asked the guy to use party menu he angrily said that he doesn't have it and we simply can't use it. Also, they can't prepare 3 course dinner as they are fully booked and chef won't be able to cook and serve within an hour- the time frame he gave us that we can stay up for. I've comment on him being rude and very unpleasant and I feel like we shouldn't even be staying at all, he said that we are more then welcome to leave. When I've approched kids at the table, they've all said that he was really rude to them too, rushing the order and making them feel really uncomfortable. We've all decided to leave. On they way out we've met a waiter bringing a drinks to our table. When I've said that we are leaving and explained what has just happen he apologised and undertood the reason. You can only imagine how frustrated I was having everything booked in for such a special occasion and having this ruined and spoiled in such a horrible way!! This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced! Unfortunately I didn't catch his name so I've returned few hours later to get his details for an official complaint. He started making the names up. I've told him that he's ruined my daughters 16th birthday dinner and he reacted by calling me "you are an idiot just get out"! Thsi all has been witnessed by other employees. I can't even describe how awfully ofending this was! This person should never work in hospitality industry creating really bad name for the work place he represents!! He not only has offended myslef but also kids under age when they were not supervised by any adult. This is absoluty unacceptable and disgusting!! The worst nightmare ever!!! What a disgrace!!!!

I recently orderd a chicken buttermilk burger via Deliveroo. No where on the description of the food did it mention the batter is imbued with Rosemary. Luckily I dont have alergies but I DETEST Rosemary. Completely ruined my meal. When adding such pungent flavorings, that do completely alter the flavour of a meal, it should be made clear in the description. £12 odd in the bin.

we waited over 40 minutes for cold, over priced starters, then waited over an hour for main meals, we were unable to order more drinks or complain about our meals as no server came over to check on us and we could not get the attention of those walking past. we intended to speak with the manager about getting our meals discounted however they were occupied with another guest complaining

Booked a table for four plus a six year old child at Wildwood, Wantage, Oxfordshire. Ordered garlic bread and four mains with a child portion.
Garlic bread was like eating cardboard with some garlic butter and rosemary - and cold cardboard.
Then waited over an hour for the mains to arrive - each was spaghetti served on cold plates.
They had the check to add a 10% service charge which was deducted when told to remove it.
No apology, no follow up by the serving staff and the place was nearly empty.
A complete waste of time - gave it a 1 out of 5 because they do not show a 0 out of 5.
Will not be returning.

My wife came home from the Wildwood restaurant in Taunton, Somerset deeply upset with the managers attitude after he accused her of putting her own hair in her friend's meal! Absolutely outrageous. He refused her a dessert and asked her to leave! What used to be one of her favourite restaurants will be avoided from now on and we will not recommend.

Three of us went for tea on Wednesday 17th January. It was packed. We had to sit by the pool table which we've never done before. Just wanted to say that the staff worked so hard. The bar staff never stopped the girls serving food did a fantastic job. Didn't wait long for our food which was well cooked. Enjoyed our night out. Thank you.

Very disappointed. Christmas meal with my work colleagues. Courses took ages to come out over 4 hours!! I asked for a chocolate fondue ending up with brownie if which I don’t like. Drinks were far too expensive.

Absolutely awful at communicating! We have our Christmas party booked with them, so far we have had to:
Chase for a booking confirmation
Chase for a Deposit link
Chase for menus
Chase for confirmation of menu choices x 5 - still no response
Chase for acknowledgement of nut allergy communication x 3 - still no reponse.
The venue has not replied, reported to head office 2 weeks ago, who have not replied.....

I had food poisoning at a Wildwoods restaurant. The staff were not helpful and the subsequent customer relations were as bad as the food. Many emails from different people, pushed from pillar to post in the hope that I would go away. No apology, no compensation. Sloppy and amateurish response. DO NOT GO THERE!

I visited Wildwood in Liverpool city centre yesterday; the location is very handy for the train - Central Station is about 100 yards away - and the shops. I was greeted as usual with a smile and a wave and seated at one of my favourite seats. The ambiance was, very relaxed and the background music was very appropriate for an early-afternoon lunch.

I had a starter of mozzarella garlic bread which was mouth-watering and just the right size so as not to fill me up before the main course (cheeseburger grilled to perfection by the amazing kitchen staff, with scrumptious salted fries). The wine was served at the correct temperature and the staff were attentive as always in this branch of Wildwood.

Wildwood in Liverpool certainly gets my thumbs up and I recommend it to locals, visitors and tourists alike. Five Stars!

I went at 1.50 with my two grandchildren and was turned away as they were only taking online bookings. Plenty of empty tables.
We sat outside in hmthe rain and booked online for 2 .30.
Went back to restaurant and was questioned when I had booked(!mrhwt didn’t appear happy we were there )but was eventually seated.
My young granddaughter was given a child’s menu with puzzles, colouring etc. but no pen/crayons. I asked for some but they didn’t materialise.
Good wasn’t great. My grandsons double pepperoni pizza came out a good 5 mins after other two meals- very little pepperoni on it!
On the bill I was charged service charge- line a twit I didn’t quibble and paid it. All in all disappointing

Lovely eating experience at Wildwood in Salisbury.
Staff and Management helpful,friendly and professional.
Returned for three evenings and had different meals each time..
Good value in nice surroundings.
Will certainly visit again
