I was served by Jason this time, and he was very empathetic towards my situation when I asked for advice about mouse repellents. Jason provided excellent customer service and was very helpful in recommending which products to buy. Thank you Sarah.

Morgon was fantastic. Paint I required was out of stock at the Grimsby store. Morgan was from the Hull store and covering staff leave at Grimsby store.
She offered to collect paint from Hull store and bring to Grimsby. Excellent customer service from start to finish, going above and beyond so I could source my paint. Morgans kindness was greatly apreciated. Dawn

I have recently purchased a property around the Grimsby area and use Wickes but would just like to add how ex̌tra friendly and helpful the staff are. After visiting today I felt I needed to post a review as I had a plumbing issue and with the help of 2 female colleagues it was resolved.

As a trader I am at the grimsby store several times a week. The staff, Yvonne, leanne and all of the staff are very welcoming, nothing is too much trouble for them, the guys help me when things are too heavy or bulky for me to carry and help to load my van , I can't fault the service they give. All of them are so friendly and helpful which is a really big reason I shop there so much. It's also great that the trade get a 10% discount.

I have visited Wickes, Grimsby this morning. Everyone was lovely a chap loading up tiles stopped for me to let me past and spoke.

Once my choice was made Leanne came to assist me to lift the tiles- I have 2 new hips and a back giving me jip. She was helpful chatty and made the experience seamless. Many thanks to everyone.

I go into the grimsby store quite often ,always see Yvonne behind the till with a happy smile always happy to help ,go above and beyond .

The staff are a amazing helpful and always so cheerful and very knowledgeable about the kind of stuff you sell and what they're good for .definitely would recommend..shame they dont have everything like B&Q..nice location right next to subway and costa and McDonald's and kentucky..a great location

The one thing that I have noticed with Wickes is that. Although its a big national chain, it still retains its small personal company feel and values...

For example;

On my last visit to Wickes I couldn't find what I was searching for (though it was right infront of me). So I looked for a store rep who was only in the next isle. I ask where the item was and they took me straight to it and said here they are.

Where as at the other place, B and what its called. They tell you the isle number and you have to find it yourself.

On this visit to Wickes, I waited in the queue and a chap called Jamie called me over and served me. He greeted me with a smile and ask how my day was going.

It was Jamie who prompted this review, well done Jamie!! Keep doing what you're doing because taking an interest in your customer's makes a difference.

Its for reasons like this that I will only use Wickes. All the others are impersonal, cold and more expensive.

I go to Wickes in Grimsby regularly to get stuff… you name it I brought from wickes.. and I have found that the items are cheaper and slightly better quality than other DIY stores locally… you know the one.!
Yvonne is my first point on contact, she knows where everything is , and needs to get out more. She is quite wonderful in the way that she helps everyone, in the queue. She is a gem and is a great asset to the Wickes company. And after 15 years of going in , I should know. The other staff are helpful but Yvonne stands out .

Wicks grimsby is one of the best by far, I travel up and down the country and use wicks allot, the grimsby branch are always a helpfull and happy bunch!

Shop had all the products we needed. Friendly helpful staff too!

I needed to take my time to do a lot of research, which involved a considerable amount of questioning. Nicola went over and above to assist and should be recognised for her customer service. A friendly approach and nothing was too much trouble. She alone would be enough to make me return. A credit to the company.

The designer was at my house for around 10 mins. He asked what I wanted while doing quick measurements, I asked to see a brochure but he didn't have one. How am I supposed to choose what I want. The lady who booked the appointment said he will have one for me, he said it was the ladies fault for not telling him.
He didn't seem very interested, said he'd just quote for cheaper worktops. (I had a workman here at the time doing a job for me, he said the say as I did about the designer. ) not very impressed

Great service from Joanne, Emily and Jamie from start to finish and the fitters were great as well, very attentive and accommodating could not of asked for better thank you
