Had Kitchen refurbishment June25 and it all started with designer who didnt explain anything properly and the builder (buildarix ltd) that Wicks appointed to do the works who have no ethics and had no good intentions but to over charge and run off without completing the job. The kitchen is not big, very basic and they took 6 weeks to finish (workers attended on adhoc days). Works was not completed in full satisfaction and i was told that they be back after the summer to complete. Contractors did not come back to make good as promised by the owner Dave of Buldarix .Wicks has taken no responsibility for their bad choice for appointment builder . The matter is still not resolved after nearly 1 year . I have emailed for clarification , emailed giving a solution so we both can part ways and i keep receiving silly emails from their customer centre. I even sent a video with all the issues and was told that i created more !! For a small kitchen in a flat , I cannot say Wicks made a dream come true. It has been a nightmare and as a single person, I have paid dearly for a kitchen not to my standards and the continuous stress this is causing . Appalling service and no accountability by them.

Builder received notice delivery was coming on Friday. Came to do job but no delivery! Apparently no room on the van!! No notification or any communication. Waste of time and money. Will they give me back the days pay for the builder? Can't deliver until next week. Unbelievable and totally unprofessional

It is really quite difficult selecting a kitchen and fitting company and prices can vary tremendously , cheapest isn't always best and it is a long term investment to refit a bathroom . The initial selection of units and accessories can be quite daunting so having guidance is essential from someone who is experienced and has your interests at heart . We consulted Micheal Poulton at wikes croydon and expressed our needs and concerns and he guided and reassured us through the whole process making amendments to the selection where appropriate . He has reassured us as to our concerns regarding the fitting feedback and we are really happy with the service provided. I will update another review when the bathroom is fitted

Had a kitchen delivery. Looks good, did experience a few issues at the end with our over bits.

Our experience was excellent, largely thanks to the outstanding customer service provided by Assistant Manager Amy. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout, which made a real difference.

We had a genuinely great experience from start to finish with our Wickes 3D kitchen design, created by Influence Wodu, Design Consultant.

Despite being given very limited information to work with, Influence pulled together a design that was not only practical but visually spot on. He quickly understood what we were trying to achieve and translated that into a layout that made sense both functionally and aesthetically. That level of intuition and technical competence really stood out.

Throughout the process he was professional, patient, and easy to deal with. He took the time to listen, asked the right questions, and never made me feel rushed or pressured. Communication was clear and expectations were managed properly.

Overall, it was a smooth, well-handled experience and we’re really pleased with the outcome. Highly recommended.

Terrible experience. I made a purchase, they scheduled the delivery, and on the day of delivery they simply said they wouldn't deliver. I contacted the company, waited a long time on hold, and when they finally answered, they were very rude, didn't even say good morning, and said the delivery person said they couldn't deliver to that area and that they were going to cancel my order. They didn't even try to deliver, they didn't call me, they didn't give me an explanation, they just canceled because they said the delivery person wouldn't deliver. Terrible experience, I'll never go back to that store, terrible delivery person, terrible customer service, terrible experience, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

We are planning to install a new kitchen, and Elise Matthews came out to do the on-site survey. A few days later we went into the shop to see the design she prepared for us, and although we expected to have to change a lot of things, it was absolutely spot-on.

Elise made the whole process so easy, and something we had been feeling quite stressed about, became very straightforward.

In my view best company to purchase your project from. I'd rate 7* if there was such. From start of design to delivery, this company's Croydon branch has the best staff. Shout out to Influence and Rupert! Thank you so much for your professionalism.

Design consultation turn up and have never heard from them again. So wasted time out of my day as never actually received the plans. Absolutely no way to contact them to find out what is happening so very frustrating.

Professional and efficient service, Elise was very helpful and knowledgeable, she helped me to find solutions and at the same time offered all appropriate discounts which made a huge difference to the wole experience.

Rupert came and spent well over the hour time slot with us to get all the information needed for designing our kitchen - he listened and advised and asked about what’s important for us - just hope the price is right to say yes as so far can not fault them

Michael was very skilled at designing the kitchen and was very happy with the outcome.

I bought a bath and mixer tap from colonades wickes 30/10/25 and paid with my American express. The details on the card and my name were correct .

The staff member who took my payment put a wrong name on my order.It meant hours sorting it out on your poorly staffed phone lines to eventually get the delivery,but the bath was cracked so they took it away and delivered another one,which had faulty base fittings so the took that away too. Plus the tap mixer I paid for was out of stock.

Anyway I want a refund but because your staff put a fictitious name on the order I can not have one according to your reply to my review on trust pilot.

On my first review the reply was no refund on security grounds because the staff member put an incorrect name on the order - my surname but Xhavel as the first name. I have the receipt.
your phone lines take 20mins plus to answer and then the staff member cannot do refunds.
attempts to e mail are usually met with your no reply protection. the store phone often rings out.

So I've stopped the payment with American Express. Fortunately I paid by credit card in the store. I would advise all customers to pay by credit card because this store has poor IT comms with their storage which means they sell items no longer in stock - the mixer tap, and deliver faulty goods - bath x2.One cracked and one without its base fittings.

Great experience from the start to finish on our kitchen from Wickes. Rupert was helpful, patient and meticulous in helping us design our kitchen throughout all of our meetings in store. Paul the kitchen fitter completed his work on time and to a high standard. Any minor issues that we encountered in the weeks following were resolved quickly. Highly recommend both of them.

My designer rupert hinkes from wickes collanades purley way croydon explained everything from designer following through to delivery in a professional manner was 100% helpful in ideas and explanation it's very rare in these days to get a salesperson committed to my ideas and budget but Rupert went above the call of duty even when I was asking to change items at the last moment I would highly recommend and definitely use rupert hinks for future projects a credit to his employer
