Wickes - Caerphilly Bewertungen 

We use Wickes quite often and always find the staff very helpful and knowledgeable. We bought quite a few things recently from the Caerphilly store and dealt with Ian S. , who helped us find what we wanted. We also find the prices very competitive at Wickes. One of the store assistants also helped to get the items into the car, which we greatly appreciated. We would definitely recommend Wickes to friends and family.

I visited the store searching for a product to patch up some channeling after new electrics. The staff member at the counter was knowledgeable and said her husband works in a maintenance role. She knew what I needed and pointed me in the right direction. Thank you Jacqui the product worked a treat, Bonding 60.

Iv always had a pleasant experience in my local store. The staff are always helpful and Jackie is always polite and smiling. The whole staff are great and welcoming and nothing is too much to ask.

I relocated to South Wales in November 2024, the house needed renovation so I asked wickes to complete a new bathroom, top of the range, so I spent a lot of money! To start with they didn't turn up to the initial appointment and I had to chase, he arrived 3 hours after starting he had forgotten, thereafter I had so many problems, to list them all I couldn't finish but the biggest concern was the branch didn't answer emails so I had to drive nearly an hour down there and when I got there the designer was sitting at his desk, can't think why he couldn't look at an email? All the colours for the bathroom units were wrong and I had to correct these, the tiles and taps were wrong, good job I did otherwise it would have been delivered as it was, then he said I would need to go 8 days without a toilet,I was unhappy with this so he said he would speak to the installer after further email chasing I still never heard back. I ended up paying extra to the installer of over 1k as it was included in the original quote. These are just a few issues I have had and the branch was Caerphilly. I have used wickes since my first ever bathroom in the early 2000s and now I will never use them again, they they must a good customer I've used them years, and to add further pain to this I was offered 120 compensation, how disgusting is that to a customer of 20 odd years? Really unhappy with wickes, disappointed

I've been having a few issues with flat pack kitchen units and the lady on the till has been more than helpful.
Jacqui has listened and then acting upon all my request with a smile.

When visiting I noticed the store was fully stocked and very clean and presentable,
Also Jacqui at the checkout was very friendly and helpful.

We went into wicks today to buy some bits for our kitchen the ladies there went above and beyond to help us and even took the time to help us download the app Brilliant customer service from them both Sarah and Jackie were both so helpful and it wasn’t long before closing time they were in no rush and still went out of the way to help us thank you both.

During Christmas time we drove to Wickes to purchase a few items. At the till we noticed a beautiful Christmas log with a Robin placed on top. I knew my wife would love it and she sure does. We was told it was made by a colleague at Wickes named Liz. I would like to thank Liz for making such a beautiful decoration.

I do not usually submit reviews but the service we received at Wickes Caerphilly has been excellent when purchasing a new kitchen from them. The process from planning, ordering to delivery has been very impressive. Communication regarding delivery of goods has been best we have ever experienced. Well done.

Every time I arrive at the branch my order is always ready to be collected. The experience is always better if Ian.S is in, he always helps with putting my order on the van, which with the size of my orders sometimes is always a good thing. Nothing is too much trouble for him, but that can be said for the rest of the team also.

Popped into Wickes today to grab some bits to sort my guttering, I was helped by Liz who went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed to do the job, nothing was too much trouble for her .

I generally favour Wickes for trade and domestic purchases, but I wanted to recognise the Caerphilly branch in particular today because of the exceptional customer service provided by Sion and colleagues who tracked down and reserved for me sufficient of the last few boxes of an end of line tile I needed to complete a bathroom project. This required much computer searching and follow up calls by Sion to several branches to check and secure stock as these weren’t available to order or click and collect in the normal way. Friendliness and helpfulness beyond even my high expectations. Thank you.

From the time myself and wife walked into the Wicks store in Caerphilly, we were looked after. We were looking for a new kitchen and bathroom suite. We had a walk around the store looking at a vast range of kitchens. Once we decided on the kitchen type we approached a member of staff for guidance.

We sat down with James Southgate, who took us through every step. Giving us advice and suggestions. James showed us different types of worktops and told us the difference between them. The same time we picked floor tiles to go from the kitchen into the bathroom and toilet.

We took a plan of the existing kitchen just so we had some sort guidelines to work to. James then made a home visit to take measurements and come up with plan on the computer. That week we revisited the store to go through the details with James.

Once everything was agreed, we were allocated a fitter. We were allocated L J Multitrade. We couldn’t have wished to have a better company to carry out the work. A date was agreed to have the kitchen and appliances delivered. The two fitters were Lyndon and Zack. We couldn’t have wished for a better team, they were brilliant.

Throughout the worked being carried out, we had regular calls from James and Suzanne our customer service coordinator.we even had a site visit from a Wicks manager, to check if everything was ok. Any supplier issues we dealt with by Suzanne.
