Nigel was really helpful with our kitchen. We attended the first appointment with no design ideas and he helped us maximise the space without spending a fortune! I can’t wait to get it fitted!

Our kitchen planner was very knowledgeable, had some great ideas and was very friendly. He was patient (he needed to be as we changed our layout three times) but he appeared to take all this in his stride. When something that we wanted to do didn’t seem possible in the space that we had, he always found a way around it to make it happen somehow. I told him at the time that he was ‘my hero’. The quality of the kitchens at Wickes seem to be very good, we did have other quotes. If you are installing your kitchen yourself, as we are, or rather, my husband is (I’ll brew up) then Wickes allow you up to six months in which they will store your order to allow you to carry out any remedial works. I.e. removing your old kitchen, any plastering, painting etc. I think this is a brilliant idea and very generous of them to do this. When we walked out of Wickes a couple of days ago after placing our order for our dream kitchen I was a very happy lady.

Two on my Wickes 2 year old oak kitchen cupboard doors have faded to become patchy and discoloured. Wickes have refused to replace the doors as they have assumed I have used cleaning products. I have not used anything other than a duster or damp cloth. We have said we will pay for someone to visit and look first-hand, but Wickes has refused.

We recently came into the Blackpool store to look at kitchens we were helped by Nigel Ball. Nigel made a home visit to measure the area, he listened to all our requests and went away to create the design for our new kitchen, we went back into store to look at the design and it was exactly what we wanted we did tweak it a little and Nigel was very happy to do that, nothing was too much trouble, we have received excellent service from start to finish and would highly recommend.

If you’re thinking of having Wickes install your Kitchen or Bathroom, don’t!
We paid for them to do our bathroom Feb 2024. We had to chase them for months to get the site survey done. The design team in store (Blackpool) will ignore you once you’ve paid. They ask you to phone the customer care line. Who will say it needs to be dealt with by a team that doesn’t have phones. So you email, and get ignored.
Following the installation we had a recurring issue with the grout on the wetroom floor which means we can’t use the shower. The installer has been back 6 times. Early December we had to get the Warranty team involved to fix the problem again and as of writing this a month later they still haven’t called us with a date for the repairs to start.
We’ve wasted so much of our time trying to deal with Wickes, we should have gone with a competent company.

I loved the chester green kitchen at wickes. Had it fitted Jan 24. The cooker hood has a recycling unit that blows everything back on to the hob and into the food. I received a new one to replace it in Oct 24 its still waiting to be fitted. I asked for a cupboard around the gas boiler and it looks good except you can't take the front off the boiler to service it. I have a neff washing machine with a filter under the plinth I need a small hinged door to access it been asking for months. The shelf underneath the sink is coming apart I have a new one since Oct. The dishwasher has moved back and is out of line with the cupboard beside it. The double oven has moved and the freezer door is getting to the point where I can't open it. The kitchen is lovely but if anything goes wrong it's a nightmare. I can't speak to the customer relations team except by email and they reply when they feel like it. I asked to speak to a manager over a week ago. Still waiting. I need my boiler serviced for the winter and it can't be accessed by the plumber this was pointed out in Oct still waiting. If you can find the same kitchen elsewhere I would advise that you do.

I still haven't spoken to a manager from customer service or customer relations. Still no progress getting my kitchen repaired. Disgraceful waiting so long. Can't even service my gas boiler because the cupboard has been fitted incorrectly. Been waiting since Oct to sort this out. The boiler service is URGENT now as it was due in Oct 24! Changed to one star as unacceptable.

I Popped into Wickes Blackpool to look at kitchens as I had previously had bad service from another kitchen retailer.
To be honest I was expecting the same level of service but was I wrong.
From the moment I stepped foot into the store nothing was too much trouble.
Michael Owen was the designer we had and his knowledge ,expertise and design skills are second to none .
If you are looking for a kitchen I highly recommend Michael 10/10

I have been dealing with Wicks Blackpool Store. I called for an appointment and the design consultant Michael Owen arranged to call in his own time on the way home the same day. Then he managed to squeeze me in for a next day planning session in store. I must have been the worse customer 4 design variations and 2 different kitchens. Then to ensure belt and braces after the old kitchen was removed Mike completed another home visit to check measurements which lead to another 2 kitchen plans before getting to the final iteration. We have paid for the kitchen but have encountered some issues so at this point have not confirmed a delivery date, no problem as Wicks will keep the kitchen for upto 12 months. Compared to 2 other kitchen suppliers who spent no more than 1 hour with me on design hurried through the process chucked me out or wanted immediate payment and delivery. Wicks have proven to be the best to this point and I would not hesitate to recommend them. Hopefully the delivery service will be as efficient as the Design Consultant.

Choosing Wickes and trusting their install recommendation was singularly the worst decision we have ever made for our home. We have an unfinished kitchen that by Wickes own Install Manager admission has plug sockets that are incorrectly installed too close to the hob top which is a potential risk to our home and safety if we were to use it - so we are not. We are at the end of October when we agreed the kitchen purchase and install that then started on 11th MARCH - and what I am getting now are emails each week that is a cut and paste of the week prior.

My husband contacted Wickes on the 19th July after we were what by any standard, understanding and patient with the installers and some issues they faced. There is an endless list of issues and concerns that have been raised, flooring, safety of electrics, cupboards coming off, and then general quality of finish. From the 19th July Wickes have abdicated any level of customer service of resolution.

Wickes recommend these installers and when it is poor they just drag their heels and couldnt care.. this is our very real and current experience.

We spent over £20k having a complete refit of our kitchen in August 2023. All work was contracted through Wickes and completed as scheduled. However there were some issues requiring rectification which I had to chase Wickes to address. The last issue is associated with fitting a replacement cupboard door which was eventually supplied 5 months ago but still hasn't been fitted! Wickes are not a company that do things quickly unless it involves taking your money. They offer unacceptable customer service and ignore requests to carry out rectification work

Never known a company as bad! Please do not use them for any installation. Without hot water and heating for 38 days. Our plumber fixed it, said it was most likely their fault as did the baxi helpline nd they are refusing to pay saying no concrete evidence. It worked up to them starting the installation then didn't. Can't get more concrete than that!

Shocking service constant promises to call me back order was cancelled due to no show by fitter which was not his fault they changed the Installation date but omitted to tell me, the kitchen was in my way when I eventually got through to customer services was told I asked for it to be placed there yes I did because was meant to be installed 2 days later he then asked if I could put it a spare bedroom I live on my own in a 3 bedroom house !!! Still waiting after several promises to return my deposit I will be pursuing this through court how this company can carry on trading is beyond me

Initially I was in a rush, so I thought about just buying a few units and throwing them in the kitchen. After speaking with Anna, I was persuaded to have a free professional design consultation. It was the best possible option for us. Anna was friendly, professional and helpful. She gave us an amazing design which used the space we had available absolutely perfectly. Genuinely couldn't have asked for a more perfect design.

I was really looking forward to purchasing a new kitchen. I had a few ideas but I needed advice on the layout, appliances and units etc. It seemed very overwhelming and I was worried about making the wrong decision.
I rang Wickes and spoke to Neil Gregory... he came to my house a few days later to measure up. Neil was so helpful and shared his ideas and suggested an island (which i love!) When I visited the showroom, Neil had all the images on the computer. He was very patient as I changed my mind several times during the following couple of weeks, but Neil was always very obliging and nothing was ever too much trouble. I now have the most perfect kitchen and I am very grateful to Neil and Wickes!
