Delighted with the quality and finish of recently fitted windows. Standard of work carried out by Duncan and David was excellent and they explained daily which rooms they were working in. Very friendly and courteous and left place tidy. Overall professional job indeed. Thank you.

Initial contact by phone. Agreed to house call as we ourselves had discussed replacing all doors and windows. Rep +trainee arrived, showed us sample windows gave details on product and price. Said we would consider and if interested would contact them. Visited local windows companies within our area and decided that weathershield had the best product. Contacted rep and agreed on the final price we wanted to pay. Surveyor arrived within days and order placed. Installation to take 3 days for 8 windows 2doors and 3 pane patio Colin &Kyle arrived from Dundee promptly and carried put the work in a professional manner. They informed us of what work was to be undertaken each day. Clean up at end of each day. Work was completed in 2days. The product is first class no doubt about it. The workforce is highly skilled. All in all we are delighted.

Installers - A Job Worth Doing - their team based in Inverness (Craig, Donald, Dale and Mathew) did a very competent job of installing our windows, patio door and back door. They did particularly well in removing a window with tiling up to the frame without disturbing the tiling. This particularly impressed as the windows had to be broken out being nailed into position.

Overall the experience was fine. The surveyor that came out initially thought that scaffold was needed but the guys that came to replace the windows and doors had no idea what he was talking about. Guys were fine in the house and just got on with the job. A bit of my interior wall was slightly damaged but they have already organised someone to come and fix it.

Previously had doors fitted by weatherseal and they mad a very good job. Was fast and efficient and couldn’t be happier with the work.
Had Jamie Stewart quoting me for a new roofline, everything explained excellently and thoroughly. Would recommend him to others looking to improve their homes.

as a member of the chartered institute of builders, I can confirm the windows meet with all Scottish governments new legislation on energy efficiency and u values.you product was installed in a professional and fast manner and completed in one day and one visit.they are very pleasant to look at and opening and closing functions are first class. the present occupier of my flat, my daughter is very pleased with the whoke operation , as I am. you installers are a credit to your organisation.

Got a phone call on Tuesday saying the green deal scheme was available for replacement double glazing. On expressing interest they asked if it was okay for a weatherseal rep to visit. He came and gave me an on the night take it or leave it price of £5900. Took a long time to get him to accept I wasn't interested. Next day got another phone call saying I hadn't been offered all the discounts I was entitled to and they were wanting to send another rep round. He offered me a similar take it or leave it price of £3750. Took quite a time to get rid of him as well including his sob story of how far he'd had to travel. He also told me there would be no more offers but lo and behold the next day I got a phone call from their associates at Penicuik wanting to send another rep round. By this time I'd had enough and told them to get lost. Don't know how many visits and price drops were still going to happen but if anyone else is considering this company it's worth holding off till they come down to a price you're happy with. If i can offer any advice, do not speak to this company or allow them to enter your home. Do not consider them. After signing a contract for an order that was reduced to £8000 from £20000, I was contacted 4 days later querying my chosen date for a survey being told it had to be done within 5 days and that the sales rep had overlooked this. On being told this and pressured to speed the process up, I informed the branch manager to cancel the order and we wont go ahead.

12 days later the same person contacted me again looking to arrange payment for an admin fee ignoring my request to cancel. When I have queried this I have been immediately threatened with legal action and told that all the calls have been recorded and I am now out with a 5 day cancellation period (convenient).

I have emailed the correct department to put this into writing and expressed my diapointment in the company to be told that there calls are not recorded and that i have misunderstood this.

Trading standards are now being contacted and I will be forwarding any further correspondence to my solicitor.

Please, save yourself stress and anxiety and choose a different supplier.

Had my new windows and the back door, installed by Weatherseal, and have to say the tradesmen, Graig, Stuart, and Graham, were first class, and the experience from ordering to the final inspection was painless, the windows look great and worth every penny, So thank you Weatherseal Brilliant job,

had windows installed end of july still waiting on door .phoned company head office twice told order with supplier first time,know told order held up by government what the hells happening .would not recommend this company.

Our window installation team arrived on time and were very professional through the entire process they explained everything as to what they were going to be doing and the whole job was completed within a day they did a first class installation completed to the highest standards

On the 15th August Wheatherseal fitted windows to our home and the fitting and fitters were first class .(see review posted on the 16th of August ). Unfortunately there was a flaw in the glass picked up by your engineer who came out on the 1st of September and the 8th of September and his report stated that all the glass had to be changed . We were told that the glass had been reordered and was being delivered to the fitters on Thursday 4th October and then had to be checked before fitting could be arranged .Weatherseal hasnt been in touch untill we phoned them today Friday 19th October and were told that not all the glass units had been delivered . I dont know who supplies Weatherseal with the glass but obviously there is something far wrong with the quality of the glass which is not fit for purpose and Weatherseal are not chasing their supplier for answers to the reason all the glass hasnt been delivered . From meeting the sales lady and surveyor to the guys who made it all happen it has been a wonderful experience. We have been put at ease and would highly recommend the team from Glasgow. Our family home has been transformed and feels perfect now. I also can't believe how clean and tidy the whole process was. We had every window and exterior door replaced. High quality windows and doors with wonderful service. Thank again to all involved.

I feel compelled to write another review first off absolutely no bearing on the Windows or the installation staff and manager Mr Hannah who has been amazing, this is of the after service sales and promotion staff. Was called after the Windows installed about the doors weatherseal could could offer 30 percent discount plus £500 off. Ok so I agreed to let someone come up at 7.30 on an agreed date. It was explained they would then come back 8 to 8.30 with a quote. I explained 8.30 was too late as I have kiddies don't want anyone in that late for an hour. It was agreed no that's fine 8 will be the latest. So waiting around no show at 7.30, no show at 8 I called was told he was on his way. 8.30 came and went... this was getting silly called back was told someone would call me in the morning. At 9.15 an arrogant young guy with a smart mouth appeared wanting in for that hour. Yes 9.15 in the evening after being told 8.30 was far too late and agreed this idiot turned up... wanting his hour appointment... surely there is some law prohibiting this... total unsocible hours or what.... anyway after a few choice words he was sent packing only for the idiot to have the audacity to say can we arrange for a more suitable time.....eh wait a minute 7.30 was suitable he was just shy of 2 hours late. I got a call from the office in the morning with an apology saying someone can come out with a quote today but giving me trade prices instead of the 30 percent off and 500 discount if this was suitable... for 2 doors I agreed mainly to see what the price would be for trade. The gentleman appeared on time and pleasant. The quote was 83 per month for ten years......what?????... over 6k but with trade price down to 4.5k approx can't recall the exact figure cause it was just sillly.. ......dunno how he done the maths but no thanks weatherseal.. .. when I go to get them done I will not be touching you... It's a shame because had such positive experience from installation side of things but complete opposite from the sales and promotion side and on the whole I absolutely will not recommended weatherseal to anyone and would ask people to proceed with caution if allowing pushy men in to your home so late at night especially if you got kids.
