bought my first car

Just bought my first car from these dealership. Absolutely brilliant service. Gave the car a full service and MOT for a year in which they then proceeded to go above and beyond with all the parts they fitted in order to make sure I had a safe and secure first car. Praise to Adam for all his help he gave myself. Thank you a lot

Be aware of this company!!

If you are thinking about purchasing a car from Panda Motor company be very ,very careful.
They were very helpful and friendly,before I bought the car !
This changed once I got the car.They deliberately sold me the car with at least two faults. When I got in touch with them a few days later to point out the faults,they just completely washed their hands of it.
Told me it was a used car and to expect some faults !
They just told me to contact the warranty,and left me to deal with it myself.
I would not recommend this place to anyone,and to go somewhere else for your car,and peace of mind.

Great experience from start to finish, I reserved the car and Jamie called me to arrange a viewing, he showed me the car and agreed to any work that needed to be done, he has been helpful and friendly the whole way through.

If you're looking for a used car dealer…

If you're looking for a used car dealer you can rely on when something goes wrong with the car they'd sold you, then... you should keep looking.

I bought a Mercedes A180 from Autoparc in November, drove slightly over 6k miles since then till March. The car stared making noise, I took it to a garage - turns out the turbo was completely gone. Repair cost - around £2k. I reached out to Autoparc, who initially argued with the diagnostics of my garage, then requested "independent" diagnostics (funnily enough, the "independent garage" is just a stone throw from the dealer). Cause of failure according to the "independent" garage? Blocked DPF, and because of the mileage (6k!) Autoparc doesn't take responsibility for it.

There is nothing wrong with DPF, the car has been fixed at the other garage and has been working great since then, even though they have not done anything with DPF. According to them, it was either an oil blockage (oil service apparently done before sales, according to Autoparc) or an actual faulty turbo charger.

Besides, since I almost exclusively drive on motorways - how would the DPF get completely blocked in less than 4 months?

Potential buyers, if you're planning to buy a car from Wearside Autoparc, remember that if something goes wrong, they'll find a way not to help you with your car issues.

Multiple emails (all signed with the comfortable half-anonymous "After Sales Team"), change of approach every time when I pointed out the lack of logic or omittance of facts, waste of
a few weeks before hearing that Wearside Autoparc will do absolutely nothing to help me fix the car they sold me only 4 months earlier.

As previously advised, the vehicle was independently inspected and you were provided with the inspection report. The report clearly states that the fault would not have been considered present or developing at the point of sale, especially considering the mileage accumulated since purchase. Based on this, we are not liable for the cost of the repair.

We initially contacted you on 15th April to outline our position, but did not receive a response until 16th May—over a month later. In that time, you chose to proceed with a more expensive repair, despite having been offered a cheaper alternative. This was done without our authorisation or any prior notification.

While I am sympathetic to your situation, the decision to go ahead with the repair without engaging with us meant we were denied the opportunity to assist or explore options at the time. Unfortunately, under these circumstances, we are unable to take any further action.

Initially the car looked great and on a…

Initially the car looked great and on a short test drive seemed fine.
However within 40 miles of picking the car up a serious steering problem occerred. I thought it might be me getting used to the 4x4 drive as when I ran over a bump or cats eye the steering would lurch to one side.
i was driving back to Cumbria and rang them as soon as I giot home. They didn't want to know my problem and just kept saying it was now the concern of the warranty company. I got the steering and tracking checked which wws fine but was sure the car had been sold with an underlying problem. I asked various mechanics and garages who just said check tracking which I had done. It wasn't until I was nearly killed on a wet drive on the motorway by the car slewing sideways when it hit a wet patch that I contacted an online specialist who mentioned I should get a whole car 4 wheel alignment check done with a computer print out. This revealed the rear wheels were drastically and dangerously out of alignment. Again Weearside Autoparc were not interested that they had sold a car in such a dangerous condition and just said contact the warranty company.
Fair do's the warranty company did pay for the alignment repairs once they were identified and 5the car does now seem fine althougha lot of confidence has been lost dew to the near miss.
The next problem appeared when the car was washed. What had appeared like clean and shiny bodywork became obviously pitted with stone chips and grey overspill from some respraying. This probably meant some cover up work had been done to make the car look new. It now looks like a well worn car. Very Disapointing.

You are lying. The steering problem was reported to you withing 2 hours of me picking up the car and you did not want to know and that is why you have no record. It was first reported to the warranty company at the beginning of October and I have an email from them confirming this. No claim was made as the initial garage inspections did not reveal the danger with the rear wheels as everyone said it was front wheel tracking. It was only after an expert engineer informed me about 4 wheeel alignment that the claim was made.
As for the paintwork It did look fine when initially instpected as a good job of hiding the defections had been done. The poor finish was only revealed after a deep clean.
So I dispute yopur reply and will let people know not to trust you.

Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify the timeline and address your concerns accordingly.

The vehicle was purchased in September 2024, and the mechanical issue was first reported in January 2025—four months after purchase. As per our standard procedure, we advised you to contact the warranty company, who then authorised and covered the necessary repairs. This process was followed correctly, and the issue was resolved.

With regard to the paintwork, it is surprising that this concern has only been raised now, six months after purchase. All vehicles are available for full inspection before completion of sale, and we encourage customers to thoroughly check their vehicle at the time of collection. If there were any issues present at that stage, they could have been addressed immediately.

We are disappointed by your review, given that the mechanical issue was resolved under warranty as expected and the paintwork concerns were not raised at the time of purchase. However, if you wish to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Take a mechanic

Dealing with these guys was easy and quick I cant fault the staff at all. How ever if you do deal with them take a mechanic with you to check over the car. I have had my Audi since November and is due for a service already. clearly no service been done prior to my purchase. this was confirmed by audi also confirmed by audi that the work which needs carried out has been in this state for a longtime. SO my advice is to take a independent mechanic. Wish i had as i now have a £3000 bill from audi

Outstanding

I was dealt with by Jamie who was brilliant and helpful from the start. Got me an amazing deal on my new car. The effort made to ensure the car was in top condition before handed over was amazing. Communication throughout this was good, not left wondering what was happening or how long before I got the keys.

Excellent Service and Range of Motors

Dealt with Jordan when purchasing my new vehicle. Gave me an excellent price on both vehicles I traded in. Transaction was smooth and he was always happy to help. Can't fault the service one bit. Would highly recommend. 10/10

Cant fault.

We would without hesitation 100% recommend Wearside Autoparc and the team especially Adam who sold us our car . Everything was dealt with extremely professionally, and in our experience this is a rare thing and credit where credit is due. Well done to all the lads its been a pleasure.

Misleading Practices and Falsified Documentation - Avoid Wearside Autoparc!

I recently had the displeasure of dealing with Wearside Autoparc, and I must say, my experience was nothing short of appalling.

After purchasing a vehicle from them, I encountered numerous issues, including a faulty wheel bearing. Despite promises of a refund for the necessary repairs, Wearside Autoparc failed to fulfill their obligations.

But it gets worse. It has now come to light that the MOT documentation provided with the vehicle was falsified. Shockingly, critical advisories and failures were omitted or misrepresented. Issues concerning suspension, brake pipes, and wheel bearings were conveniently left out.

It's clear that Wearside Autoparc's advertising of providing vehicles with a 12-month MOT sans advisories is nothing but a sham. This deceitful practice is not only misleading but also illegal.

I demand a refund for the repairs needed to rectify these falsified issues. Failure to comply will result in legal action.

Save yourself the headache and avoid Wearside Autoparc at all costs. Their dishonesty and lack of integrity are truly despicable.

Update - I feel compelled to provide an urgent update regarding my harrowing experience with Wearside Autoparc. Despite my best efforts to rectify the situation amicably, their deplorable conduct continues unabated.

This deceitful and underhanded company initially requested a report from me, which I promptly provided. However, upon receiving the report, they resorted to unlawful tactics by attempting to coerce the garage into providing them with the invoice meant for me. Shockingly, they even stooped so low as to abuse the garage staff for rightfully upholding the Data Protection Act.

Despite numerous attempts to resolve the matter, Wearside Autoparc has shamelessly refused to take responsibility for supplying me with a dangerously unfit vehicle, complete with a falsified MOT.

This is my final warning to them: refund the amount owed for the repairs required to make the vehicle safe, or face legal repercussions.

To the public: beware of Wearside Autoparc's treacherous practices. I will continue to update this review to ensure transparency regarding their treatment of customers.

I had the work done you authorised however this could not be completed due to your false MOT.

All the items where on the previous advisories and or were also failures which is why they needed to be completed as the vehicle would not have gone back together without them being done.

The vehicle has been inspected by 2 garages now and you and your MOT garage have been reported to the DVSA

I refused your offer of buying back the vehicle as it has just cost me this amount

I have offered you a resolution as per the court suggestion and you have refused this so I’m waiting the time allocated to proceed to the next step.

Telling people to Google me is fine but from a business point of view it is a breach of GDPR on your behalf which will also now be added to the evidence in court.

It further reply to Wearside editing their post, I have an invoice which was paid via credit card. Requesting someone elses documents which you did from the garage is also a crimem, so that and your original reply here which has been saved and documented you will see in the court documents.

The vehicle has been reported to the dvsa and is being inspected by them. The report for this will be available for you to see in the court proceedings.

Email dated 21/3/24 (Which you received) as you replied.

As previously advised we offered to buy the vehicle back, you have refused and advised you are taking the company to court. I will await your court documents. Furthermore, we agreed to pay £300 which wasn't paid by the Friday, due to the accounts department being closed.
You then emailed again on the Monday demanding £1100, no invoice/diagnostic report was ever produced and conveniently you state you paid the garage cash? The garage are not able to provide any evidence of this!!
I would advise the people reading this review to google you. (Entrepreneur that you are)

Dear Garry,

Unfortunately, given that you have had the repairs complete without our authorisation, we will not be held liable for the cost of those repairs.

Your vehicle was provided with 12 months MOT and no advisories. If you are not happy with the outcome of the MOT you will need to report this to the DVSA.

As agreed, we are happy to cover the cost of the Wheel bearing upon receipt of the invoice as stated in previous emails. If you do not wish to accept this original agreement, we are happy to buy the vehicle back for the full amount. If you wish to go ahead with a full refund, the vehicle will need to be returned to Wearside Autoparc along with all documents and keys.

Excellent car buying experience

Great buying experience at Wearside Autoparc, from setting foot on the huge site, we were never put under the usual (awful) pressure of many car dealers.

Looked after from our initial visit by Jordan, he was extremely helpful with advice and detail, a credit to the trade and his employers. TBH all the lads on site we came across were really friendly, and there was zero pressure to buy.

Our new car was like new when we picked it up, brilliant prep from their own team.

A really straightforward and enjoyable buying experience, highly recommended you check out the amazing range of vehicles and first class sales team - thanks Jordan.
