Not honouring their original offer
In June 2025 Broadband Ireland installed fibre within our area. After speaking with various broadband providers, we were visited by a representative from King Communications representing Vodafone Ireland. We were promised by the representative a two year deal with Vodafone of 500mb broadband at €35 a month, all in.
However, once the broadband was installed we have been charged by Vodafone €42 a month(incl vat). They have no record of the agreement and refuse to honour it. Contacting King Communications about this, has been a fruitless experience.
The only option we have received from Vodafone is to cancel our contract and move providers. At the moment we are concerned that if we cancel they may not honour this, as they have already refused to honour their original offer. And they refuse to refund the overcharging.
