Hurt and insulted by Vinted’s cold, automated accusationsI was genuinely excited to join the Vinted community to buy and sell second-hand clothes. Instead, before I could even make a single trade, an automated AI bot instantly blocked my brand-new account. To add insult to injury, the computer-generated message falsely accused me of trying to commit a "fraudulent act."As an honest person, being labeled a criminal by a soulless algorithm is incredibly hurtful and deeply insulting. It feels horrible to have your integrity attacked by a glitchy piece of software without any way to speak to a real human being to clear your name. Vinted’s reliance on these broken AI systems completely strips away the human decency consumers deserve.A computer program should never be allowed to falsely attack a person’s character. Vinted needs to rewrite this code, bring back human oversight, and stop treating everyday, honest people like criminals. Victoria Dickinson

My phone crashed and forgot my login details. This shouldn't be a big deal as it's very easy to prove myself the right person whose the account belongs to. It should be a breeze to reset login details and get back into my account. Every establish business has their policy to remedy this as it's a very common issue.

But NOT with Vinted... In order to unlock and prove my account, they asked for so many documents. After all that, they blocked my account completely because they couldn't verify me.

I sent them my bank account statement, picture of the visa card, and a bank receipt of a transfer they made to me. I sent them the Australia Post tracking receipts that were printed off directly from their app. I showed them their confirmation emails of my listings in their app. Yet, they said they couldn't verify me.

I posted out 5 items to buyers that I sold on the app. I only got paid for 1, now they just banned my account and told me to open a new account. How about my money that you stole???

I couldn't talk to anyone there. I got many generic emails from different names, that are not relevant to solving this issue. Seriously, is there anyone with common sense and just a little bit intelligence working at Vinted??? What a waste of time!

I sent them about $600 of clothes. Most of them sold. I got $7 and change profit. I just thought times are tough little something to help. I should of just sold them myself. Want the things back that didn't sell the shipping was outrageous. Scam

I ordered from two seperate sellers and BOTH my items never arrived. Vinted is not helping at all and is saying my items were delivered, even though the tracking website itself says that they have NOT been delivered and I have sent Vinted proof that it has not been delivered and they are still refusing to help me. I have lost my money and not received my parcel, I am extremely frustrated and disappointed.

The platform is very polished - easy to use and if you want to buy something it’s great BUT sellers be warned….getting paid is a real problem

First they hold your money in a Vinted “wallet” and if you transfer it you have to wait up to 2 weeks before you MIGHT see it in your nominated account

I haven’t seen it yet and am coming up to 4 weeks since I sold the item and requested money be sent to my account

Have decided someone is making interest off all this cash sitting somewhere so have removed myself from the platform

If I could give them 0 I would. Ordered from the UK. Package arrived with a completely different item. Seller was not at fault. Definitely postage/carrier etc. Customer support was absolutely useless and I have no response on getting a refund but hounded by feedback requests. Total joke. Seems like it's run by bots. Never again.

I had 2 false advertisement items and if you don't address them within 2 days you have no luck getting a refund, there is no way to contact the company with an issue

Keep getting buyers from the UK, shipping is more than the item so sale never goes through. No way to filter to just products in Australia so even when you see something to buy 99% of them are in the UK. Both as a buyer and seller in Australia its a waste of time. Until location is something you can filter by its a non functioning platform in Australia

Listed a brand new pair of navy scrub pants (still with tags) under Clothing. Vinted removed the listing because they said it was “equipment or instruments.” They’re literally just pants.

I appealed it and got knocked back with a generic response quoting rules about furniture, power tools and tanning beds, which had absolutely nothing to do with what I was selling.

Then I contacted support. Three different agents replied and not one actually addressed the issue. One of them kept asking for “the other Vintie’s username” even though there was no buyer, no dispute and no transaction. It was my own listing. It honestly felt like nobody had read my messages or even looked at the photos.

I checked Vinted’s own catalogue rules myself. The only restriction on uniforms is for police, armed forces and emergency services uniforms. Plain navy scrub pants aren’t on that list.

Ended up wasting days going around in circles for something that should have taken two minutes to fix. If you’re using Vinted Australia, don’t be surprised if perfectly normal listings get removed by mistake, and don’t expect support to look into it properly.

Honestly the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered.
I LOVE the platform and used it regularly. Then I moved to Australia. It’s was so excited to hear that Vinted were launching by here.
I tried changing my location in my account. It’s not possible but their help centre states to open another account, so I did.
Instant ban. I’ve appealed, they ve written countless emails, sent screenshots and explained the situation. This has been going on for 6 weeks and each time I’ve been blankly denied.
I’ve never had to fight so hard to be a customer of any business- and I’m a good customer! I follow the rules, I’ve never ever had an issue.
Their customer service is clearly off shore outsourced and operated with templates. I’ve never had an actual response that’s written.
So disappointing and I’m done trying.
