We have received the pet art canvas from you today. I have to say that I am gob smacked by the work that you have done. It means so much to us as we lost our wonderful Choccy Lab a few weeks ago. This work now sits in pride of place in our lounge and it’s like he has never been away. I hope you realise how exceptional your work is to people like us. It means we can enjoy his beautiful smile every time we are in the lounge. I would like to thank you so much for this work and please keep it up for all of those heartbroken parents of wonderful dogs out there.

Purchased an item in March 2025. Took ages to dispatch and when it finally was shipped, it was incorrectly addressed (different to what I had entered, and what is on my order confirmation).

The item was returned to the sender. I contacted them to ask for the address to be updated and the item resent. I was ignored. I then contacted the team again to ask for a full refund as the item hadn’t been dispatched/delivered. No response.

I contacted the team a third time to ask for a resolution , and still no response.

I raised a chargeback with my bank in April. Villager Jim has had 8+ weeks to respond to the chargeback and finally did so on the last day possible meaning this will now go on for another 6 weeks at least.

Embarrassing excuse for a company. Clearly a bunch of scammers who will do all they can to steal your hard earned cash. Avoid at all costs.

Ordered item (dog heart pointed ears plus name), wrong item sent (dog heart laid down ears) … emailed 3 times with zero response … tried calling, straight to voicemail … eventually got email saying that they had already responded (which they hadn’t) and still not answering the question! On the Same day, replacement arrived (correct one) which had been sent ‘tracked’ (for which I’d never received tracking email) … I emailed company to update them and suggest they check their email system as communication is everything, especially for small businesses - they never had courtesy to respond … real shame as the products are actually not bad quality, however won’t be using again

I ordered a suncatcher clock from Villager Jim's shop. They unfortunately sent the wrong one and I asked them to collect it and send the one we ordered.

The nice lady said that she would arrange for the correct one to be sent out but that they wouldn't collect the wrong one so not to worry about it. We gave it to a charity shop.

The clock they eventually sent was stunning.... but it loses around 2 hours a day, so as a clock it's useless. We're going to order another movement for it from Amazon or similar and hopefully we'll get what we expected in the first place.

Would we buy from Villager Jim's shop in future? - Very unlikely ....

My Jenny Wren splashback is beautiful.
Due to my asthma we went away whilst the decorator was painting.
My first stop being home - only half an hour ago - was the kitchen, this now looks bright and cheerful. I'm going to enjoy working there with Jenny looking on. How do I send you a photo ? I'm so happy

I brought an everlasting terrarium. It looks absolutely nothing like the picture on the site. It's a shame I can't share pictures, if I wasn't so disappointed, I would be laughing!
I should have read the reviews. They can keep the money, it serves me right for shopping without reading reviews first.

I ordered a personalised memorial stone. I received it a few days later. It was beautiful, wording exactly as I had requested. I am very pleased with my purchase. Thankyou.

Ordered a steel heart dog pointed ears received one with ears layed down looks nothing like my German shepherd more like a Labrador . Fast delivery but obviously someone can’t read .

My order has not arrived almost a full month after the order was made and after being told it was dispatched. I have emailed twice asking for an update and have heard nothing. No communication and awful customer service. I ordered this in memory of my grans cat for her birthday to cheer her up. I wouldn't mind if I was told there was a delay but have heard nothing and ruined the chance of a lovely present for my gran.

We recently purchased a slate heart 'when tomorrow starts without me ' in memory of our dogs 'Molly' and 'Tess'. The personalised name Tess was fine, Molly was dreadful letters all squashed together and sloping downwards. We questioned this and was informed by customer service there was nothing they could do it was the font. Rubbish! It's the spacing and positioning that is wrong. They were most unhelpful said we could return it at our cost and they would deduct 10% for re-stocking. We have previously bought these hearts for our dogs and never had a problem. Sadly due to awful customer service we will not use this company again. Be warned!

My order hasn't arrived, even though supposedly dispatched.
I am SO disappointed as wanted to give my friend a pet memorial keyring/ tag.
I have tried to phone, asked to email emailed twice now with no reply. I wouldn't mind if told a delay but no response at all..... mighty disappointing.

Fantastic customer service my son bought me a hanging daffodil vase (3D printed) but it was broken when it arrived. I contacted the shop and was sent a replacement immediately with no question. It’s beautiful and was a lovely Mother’s Day gift

What lovely people. I ordered Ricky and cockerel and it arrived almost immediately. A second Ricky turned up this week and when I explained they said they sent a second by mistake and I could keep it as a gift. Really nice customer service and a lovely quality print.

Saw an advertisement on Facebook, the light catcher was the spitting image of my working cocker, Bob. Ordered this, arrived yesterday, made my wife cry... absolutely lovely piece of work. Thank you so much

I ordered the hydrangea sun catcher for my Mum for Mothers Day, speedy delivery & it is quite nice, however I really don’t think it’s worth the £20 plus postage, the photos on their site make them look much nicer & better quality & and with having to pay own postage to return & only accepting returns if faulty I do feel a little let down

I bought £106.87 worth of tablemats and coasters on the strength of seeing some Villager Jim matts in a pub in Tideswell Derbyshire. The matts that arrived were not the same, They were all slightly warped, thin, lightweight and a very inferior quality. I returned them. The refund I received was only £86.29. I am a little bemused as to how Villager Jim think they can charge me £20.58. I will be asking them how they think they are entitled to keep this amount.

Just received my personalised terracotta flower pot. Arrived in excellent and was well packed. Etching done really well and of great quality!

I had to choose one star to write the review. In fact I wouldn’t have given them any. Bought a dog snow globe decoration at Christmas 2024. Very misleading description - said made from acrylic, didn’t state it wasn’t a globe and would have expected it was for the price charged. A poor bit of plastic hanging on a ribbon arrived. I complained. They failed to respond. I complained again and they suggested the first response went to my spam. Which it did not. They stated they hadn’t received any complaints other than mine despite selling hundreds of them over Christmas. After my purchase I had read negative reviews on the website, too late for me which they now deny. If they’ve sold hundreds then they should be proud of how they have inaccurately lured people into purchasing. The e mail which eventually arrived at the end of January 2025 was matter of fact with an insincere “we are sorry you are unhappy with your purchase”. It speaks volumes that they have never responded to negative reviews on here. I would not purchase from them again and recommend they look into their advertising and get some professional training re customer service.

I bought a memorial plant pot for my cats ashes and already the frost has cracked it and it is less than 12 months old. I got in touch with Villager Jim and the response I got was that they were made to 'high quality standards'. Well obviously they aren't and I think it's poor to sell pots which are obviously sold for this purpose which aren't up to it.
